It was a battle to finish in PortHarcourt On Saturday as Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike's security, and The minister of Transportation's security aides clashed.

In a statement issued in Port Harcourt by the Special Assistant to the Governor on Electronic Media, Mr. Simeon Nwakaudu, alleged that the security agents who attacked Wike’s convoy were in the motorcade of the Minister of Transportation, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi.


It noted that the convoy was attacked on Saturday afternoon at Nwanja Junction on Trans-Amadi Road in the state capital, while Wike was on a project inspection tour.

An imam of a mosque on Nuru Oniwo Street, Aguda, Surulere, Lagos State, Yahaya Quadri, has been missing for three weeks after he left home.
It was learnt that the Imam had left home to pray at a house-warming in Owode Onirin, Ikorodu, on Monday, October 16, 2017 at about 8am.
He was said to have been invited to the event by a friend, who told him not to come along with anybody.
It was gathered that the family of the 40-year-old Islamic cleric became apprehensive around 4pm on that day when he did not return home.
When one of his phone numbers was dailed, he was said to have reportedly spoke in distress for a few seconds before the call was disconnected. The lines were said to have been unreachable afterwards.
