Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Work From Home: 92 Million Jobs To Be Done Remotely By 2030 by Timoleon(m): 5:50am On Apr 30
I would think this data is wey understated. Perhaps they are only accounting for ICT jobs.

I know caterers, soap makers, cosmetic makers, insecticide makers, perfume makers and many others who work from home. If they all accounted for across all countries, they probably make up more of the work force than those who work with companies and corporations.

Are you willing to pay tax to ensure they nip criminals building without plan in the bud.

Do you have an idea what it will cost in terms of manpower n salary to monitor fools n criminals building such 247 all over Lagos ?!

Are your two arguing that criminals n fools that build without proper documentation should be allowed to reap the reward of their criminality or you both proving to be foolish.

You see when you start building without appropriate approval, they will come for you. If you succeeded in bribing one LASG foot soldier from local government, another one will come from Alausa, then gbege go start.

Mind you, there are a lot of ministries that will visit your site with different motives

Everybody collecting bribe should fished out

Facts. They should stop allowing people to build only to come destroy later, it makes no sense...shows the government is insensitive. People use their life savings to build these homes...why allow them build it in the first place?

Nigeria is wasting money paying these civil servants, they are mostly corrupt and inefficient.

Exactly on point.

Government should learn to be proactive rather than reactive. A very large percent of our budgets go into paying of salaries of government officials. If they aren't nipping these dangers in the bud, perhaps they shouldn't be in service.

Mind you I’m Igbo, but I have never listened to Peter Obi speak before nor have I ever been interested in him because of his deceiving face, until this morning when I opened Instagram and saw the post on lindaIkeji page and I tell you, that man is a very intelligent and sound FRAUDSTER , the way he is able to deceive the masses should be studied as a criminology course in higher institutions across the world…. If you support this professional Gbajue with his feminine voice then I’m sorry for you, you’re a very daft person.. obviously Reno has seen through his fakeness and BS, that’s why he’s sitting on his flat face.

How are you so confident that someone you have never listened to and have never been interested in is a 'fraud' a 'gbajue'? Would it not be better if you listened to him and paid attention to his doings so as to be absolutely sure of whatever truth you find out?

Do your work let him do his work. If he's doing something wrong, publish it let people see. If not, keep shut if you can't acknowledge his little strides. He does not owe you a formal invitation. Your job is to go search for the story and bring unbiased news to the public. But no, all you people are looking for is brown envelopes.

If indeed you are aware of the saboteurs in his government, why not publish it? The plight of the people doesn't matter to you? Only your stomachs determine what story is published. Shameless lot.

If e easy make una sef campaign next election make una become governor.

Education / Re: JAMB Sanctions Officials For Asking Female Student To Remove Her Hijab by Timoleon(m): 11:03am On Apr 22
Telltruth123:

I put my children in a privat school and the owner of the school said she does not accept hijab in her school and I did not raise issue with her, it is are school.

If you enroll your children in Islamic school and they told you that your female children must wear hijab, you shouldn't have issue with that.

Jamb is not a private enterprise. The Nigerian constitution guarantees the lady's right to dress like that in public space/event. If a person infringes on that, it is within her right to raise a formal petition against such person or body.

It is different for a private institution. No state has ever bothered to do discussions on hijab or not in private schools, it is not their domain. But for public schools, most states have always dealt with it according to their laws which is informed by the prevailing sentiment in the people of that state.
