Because contrary to what criminals parading themselves as Muslims want you to think, the reals Muslims who you know on a one on one basis, the ones you grew with, the ones you work with are genuinely mostly peaceful people. The Muslims in your street whom your parents never had issues with while you were growing up and would always go their houses to play with their kids, the ones you went to school with whom you would couch for with everything you have, the ones you work with who you know deep without checking is not on the list of corrupt workers.
The mosques in your streets have been there for decades, yet not one fight has originated from there, not one gunshot has Ben heard from there not once have you heard the imam advocate for violence against neighbors or people of different faiths.

The people you know personally as Muslims are obviously peaceful people. You must ask yourself if you are really thinking for yourself if a foreign media is channeling you to judge your neighbors whom you've lived with for decades by using the acts of people from foreign lands who you know nothing of their origins or their motivations just because you are told to.

There are mosques in the south south, south east and south west. All of them well integrated into society. Why do we have these 'radical islamists' in areas where the borders are most porous? Perhaps, is it because they aren't real Muslims but rather criminal elements paid to disguise as Muslims while causing mayhem and division in society?

The real Muslims you know one on one, not from tv, news etc. the real Muslims s you know and interact with on a first name basis, I can bet they are mostly peaceful and regarding their faith. As individuals however people might have different temperaments.

It depends on the construction company in charge. If it's an indigenous company, it'll be Nigerian engineers in charge. What however happens is that the biggest and most visible projects are often won by international companies who of course use their personnel but must fill in quotas with locals too.

Fear is not the opposite of love. You either love or hate the country. Fear does not overtake love or hate. If you love the country, fair. If you hate the country fair too, the country hasn't been favorable to most people. Fear is not an alternative to either of those emotions.

You keep confusing morality for reality. Real life doesn't care about morality. What has deterred the stronger nations from head on collision is their possession of nuclear weapons for the most part. North has only evaded American invasion because it defied the international community and went ahead to create it's nuclear assets. Sadam, Gaddafi et Al ended up dead because they didn't posess these weapons despite false accusations by USA and NATO. As things stand Ukraine will get what others decide. Is it fair to Ukraine? Definitely not! But does reality change because of our emotions? No.

Russia over underestimated Ukrainian resolve to hold on.

Ukraine had been betrayed over and over that they cannot bring themselves to trust Russia over ANYTHING.

This so-called peace deal is a call for capitulation. If Russia could take the four Oblasts completely, they would have done it.

Unfortunately, Putin still up till yesterday says that
"Whatever" happens ALL the military goals of Russia would be achieved"

Meaning that, if Ukraine surrenders their fortress belt for the sake of peace deal, Russia can find the excuse to roll forward and take even Kiev the capital.

The phrase "security guarantee" is a meaningless because when the time comes, USA or NATO or Europe will not put boots on ground to help Ukraine.

I do not see Ukraine accepting this horrible "peace deal". It is like forcing a raped woman to allow her rapist to live in one of the rooms in her house

A Fair Peace deal must start with a CEASEFIRE while maintaining the current frontline. But Russia wants what it could not achieve milleterily over the last three years on the platter of gold.

The peace plan tells a different story. It obviously seeks to appease, placate and assure Russia. As for the objectives of Russia, this is also very much guaranteed in the peace plan. No NATO membership for Ukraine, freedom of Russian speaking Ukraine, guarantee by NATO to halt expansion. You can choose to believe whatever you like, yet these are the current realities.
As far as a fair peace seal is concerned, only Russia can get a fair deal as they are the ones with the power to. Ukraine will get whatever others decide for it.

There's a reason the entire peace plan panders mostly to Russia. In international politics, might is right. Ukraine at the moment has very little ti bargain with other than hope. Russia holds the bargaining chips. Meanwhile USA who is supposedly pushing the peace plan has nothing with which to compel Russia to an agreement hence the war stops only when RUSSIA get what it considers to be fair to Russia. And this deal right here is not fair to Russia so do not expect the war to come to an end with this particular deal.

There's nothing they can do actually. Once these monsters are created, they can't be eradicated. The USA went into Afghanistan to get rid of the Taliban. They spent 20 years killing and displacing millions of people. At the end they left, and the Taliban is still in charge of Afghanistan. They have fought against Al Qaeda, Isis, Hezbollah, houthis, all of them are still in existence today. They entered Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, yemen etc destroyed the place, looted it but all the supposed terror organizations they went in to fight are still in standing strong.
