just continue pooting . whenever the 3 options show up in poot try installing super user before restarting your phone.

I don help many people root there own but why ME?

I have rooted my phone 4 times after resting mistakenly 2 times and once when I mistakenly switched of my screen screen color with chainfire lol! just uninstall poot, super user and root checker, and root the phone again but first uninstall super user and reinstall it again. install super user v 3.1.3 and not v 99.1 cuz I noticed the later those not work for rooting purpose.

paulshakur: my tecno n3 doesn't browse again despite all my tweaks around to ascertain what went wrong. The 3g shows but it won't connect to the net. I have done factory reset and a hard reset still, it wouldn't browse. Tried my sims on other techno n3 and they browse fine...

does the hspda logo show up before your 3g logo? Did you play around with box DNS app? what I don't understand is the fact that you have done factory Reset and it's still not Working.

it is not something you will do monthly na. Just imagine the amount of data you will download daily. I download nothing less than 1 gb per day with premium account all I need is time and battery hd movies, full albums, games of 1gb+ and so on will be nothing. it's your choice though.

I stumble on top am after I don find normal key board tire. Na regular keyboard I being dey find which I no see I come decide to search for normal hand writing keyboard na so I take get am. I remember before then to type with my n3 being dey frustrating with the normal andriod keyboard. I come later download big button keyboard wey try sef before I later get TouchPal.

That's what I have being using since the end of last year. just follow my procedure step by step. yes for now you don't have to pay anything else but later you may have to say N500 for driodvpn premium account but you can start with this.

download and install TouchPal keyboard v5 and TouchPal English handwriting pack and come back and testify. in fact, you will uninstall any other keyboard you have installed. The only other keyboard that I know of that is as good is multi touch keyboard but I prefer TouchPal keyboard.

Congratulations! just download and install tune.ko installer and driodvpn. you an also download and install busybox. register @ driodvpn.com ~ go to your Mail to retrieve your password ~ open driodvpn ~ input your username and password in driodvpn ~ goto settings ~ click on protocol and select 'icmp' and choose your busybox install path which is ''system/xbin'' by default. That's all. Although, the busybox path is not necessary ~ launch your driodvpn and after connection, click on the server icon which is the American flag at the top right hand side and select free 1gb server which you can use unlimitedly as long as driodvpn does not disconnect.
Remember you have to subscribe for MTN bis by Recharging N1500 and texting ''BBC'' to ''21600'' and creating a new access point settings using ''BlackBerry.net'' as your apn and every other thing should be the same as your default MTN access point settings.

Note: Without MTN bis subscription the BlackBerry apn will not connect which you will notice as there won't be the connection symbol before the 3g symbol on top of your screen which is your notification bar.

Switch on the phone, allow to fully load, hold down the menu button and tap manage applications. The application manager will pop up. You will see the ram details in the status area downward. Add the used ram in ash and free ram in green to get the ram size.
300+ means you have a 512 mb ram.

just uninstall poot, ministro. Restart your phone (not necessary) and reinstall poot and allow it to download ministro after which it will ask for permission to update ministro libraries which is about 11mb totally. After which you can start pooting. This is coming from someone who has rooted his tecno n3 4 times successfully.
