Good evening gurus, How are you all doing? I've got this problem with my lapii. Anytime I put it on, before it loads windows it starts making very loud and of course irritating toh toh toh sound it does that for about 1 minutes or longer and there after loads up windows normally. It's really embarassing cant even put on the laptop in class cos of the noise. I've already formatted and reinstalled windows but the problem still persists. I however noticed that if after putting it on if I start pressing F9 it will bring up a dark screen on which is written "load windows vista home premium" and below that "press F8 for more options" and I press enter on the former, it loads the windows without all the noise but normally before once i put it on it loads and I wouldn't have to do a thing until my user password is requested. The mouse also behaves funny at times since this problem started, it suddenly might stop clicking, the cursor still moves in response to my touch but on tapping as usual it does not execute unless I use the buttons below which is cumbersome. I dont know what to do again pls help me out. My exams are just starting and all my class note, practical materials are on the computer I cant afford not to use it now. Thanks for your anticipated support. System is HP G60, windows is vista home premium.

I need a help,I hv multiple registry errors on my system abt 263 of them,i tried fixing them wt registry optimizer i downloaded bt it only fixed 20 of them and requested for activation to finish the remaining ones. Pls is there software or anyother free reg.cleaner that cn solve ths.

Processor: Intel(R)pentium(R) Dual CPU E2140 @ 1.60GHz (2 CPUs) and i dont av sound from the system, what can i do, i tried installing a sound driver but to no avail. can i upgrade the OS? also am connected to a wireless network and it is passworded.

Please my laptop has been misbehaving for abour two weeks now. sometimes if im working and i just leave it for some minutes, b4 coming back it would be hanging, and nothing will work on it again (not even the task manager will come up). until i shut it down manually(by holding down the power button) and restart it. And some other times i may actually be working on it and everythis will just sieze. im tired of manually shutting down all the times (about 6 times in 1 hour), losing my unsaved document and having to open every web page or application im using over and over again. Im also afraid of the possible long term effect of constantly shutting down the system manually. any help or contribution will be appreciated. Its an HP Compaq Presario CQ61 with windows Vista basiic running on it

My MTN modem which i have been using for sometime with Zain ( i changed the settings to zain 3G) suddenly starts giving me an error like this connection does not work with the default settings, i don't get this, is it that zain is having problems or the stack(modem) itself is having problems. Pls i need someone to help me fix this problem. I upgraded from window vista to window7 on my dell studio xps 1640 and i installed the webcam center driver as well as webcam central but each time i'm trying to us my webcam i get this message "No suported webcam driver detected. Pls install the webcam driver using the dell resource CD and launch webcam driver again".

Pls i need someone to give me a solution. for me dell studio xps 1640.
