What about flying on Qatar airways (LOS - DOH - DXB)?

You will quarantine in qatar and need a transit visa I guess, the rule says anyone stayed in Nigeria in last 14days will not be welcome in UAE.

No matter the airline you used, if you like fly American airline , or British airways.

You must be at another place within 14days before you entered UAE. do you understand now ?

Pls house, I need some answers:

Can a female do Nebosh course in UAE and get job and which of the certificate is best to have.

How much is dirham to naira now if I want to send money to my naira account?
Thank you!

Dirham is at 133/134 to put money into your account.
Well, You can do it but... do you have an engineering background?
Because of the weather and male dominated profession, well you can get a chance but you know how funny it can be.

The kind of certificate will depend on your background, then it's not only about the certificate, you need cognate experiences too.

Is it possible for one to process the UAE resident permit here in Nigeria or one must travel to Dubai to get it

Now it just opened some weeks ago, the processing is not completely finished from Nigeria because medicals and biometrics are done only here in the UAE. But an entry permit is given, which enable you to use a 1way ticket unlike visits that requires 2ways.

Really?
How can one go about it. Is UAE resident permit the same thing with Emirate card of a thing.

Exactly , the resident permit makes you a temporary resident for 2 years and you can use that to do some visiting to other countries, do rental and business, set up bank accounts etc. Majority use here as a link to go to other country.

Been in UAE for years now. If u have any skill(s) that's marketable u are good to go, if u a BSc and + small change to acquire certificate program for 3 to 6months in UAE, ur good to go. Plz attest or legalize ur credentials in Naija at MOE before coming.

Another option,, If u have good height(Tall) + small change to acquire security certificates, eg SIRA.. for 5days to a week ur good to go.

Lastly, if u don't have any of the 3 I mentioned above but ur willing or ready to do menial jobs at least to start with.. like cleaning, car wash, waiter, waitles, office boy/girl, receptionist etc. then u don't have a problem. Because UAE will definitely offer u these. Mind u, I have not been to Cyprus so I no fit talk anything about d country.
UAE is just a stepping stone, go there, stay like 2yrs or thereabouts, save up some cash and I will show how to japa to Europe using Sports route, mind u, u don't need to be a sports man/woman. May God strengthen us always and bless our efforts. AMEN.

You have said it all, no one actually cares about the B.sc , the options for Nigerians are limited now except some menial nonsense. But there are also jobs for experienced hire but it's HARD.

but how can I have travel history when all countries refused to grant me visa? I have multiple registered businesses which I have used for application, I hv used my former place of work (construction company) yet no way. I have tried all means. Uk agents almost emptied me because of travel, I have tried Europe too, Canada in fact I’m tired. I have prayed and fasted too grin lol

My advice is to try UAE resident permit route 2years visa , then you can begin to apply for other countries.

Hello Good people,

I am a professional CIMA UK qualified chartered accountant. I work in Nigeria with oil servicing firm currently but want to relocate to Dubai to get international work experience.

I have two options on the table:

1. Get toDubai to look for job with tourist visa.
2. Use my cash to secure 2 years freelance visa and start some tax and financial management advisory services to businesses in free trade zone and other parts of UAE.

My question is, will a professional of my experience in finance and accounting be likely to land a good job in 1 or 2 months?

Also, when is the best time in this year to make this move to Dubai?

I will appreciate your kind advise.

Let me be very blunt with you, anything that concerns money handling in the UAE, Nigerians are considered last , I have heard and seen many cases so that pathway is a tricky one. Before you embark on your journey, test the waters. Do a CV in UAE format. Check companies and shoot your shots, their responses will guide you in your decisions.

We can only be optimistic at this stage.

They can be flexible on emirate ID, provided the person has the negative test on alhosn. I’ve passed there on few occasions during this Ramadan and nothing has changed as regards the protocol. Those guys don’t have the time to look at papers o.

Thank you for that updated information.

I will hope that the part that tourists are not allowed in Abu Dhabi is not true as my wife is in isolation in Dubai and would be heading to Abu Dhabi afterwards for an interview at one of the embassies there.

Well, embassy interview could be an exemption but when she passed the borders safely, let us know. Many people have been turned back severally while transiting even with valid corona test.

I will advise you to print enough papers to show them if on tourist Visa, well Ramadan may have made them calm anyways.

I'm a web developer in Nigeria. How can I apply for job while in Nigeria in any golf country and then apply for visa to travel.

It's a physical process now except you get a recommendation from someone or explore LinkedIn but they always like personal interview.

Whichever way , you may need to be available in person.

Please how much will it cost to get a cab from Dubai to Abu Dhabi?

Will I have to do another Covid19 test before crossing each emirate.

Each time anyone is going to Abu dhabi go to Jubail Bus station in Sharjah or Ghubaiba Bus Station Dubai which is closest to you and negotiate a sharing Taxi. Max 100 dirhams, do not accept meter sharing. 100 dirhams if he accept max 3 people in taxi.

Yes you will have to do another covid test except you have a valid one that has not lapsed 72hrs , by the way tourists are not allowed to enter Abudhabi.

Interesting to finally meet Ikenna , HolarJp, slimyetty
God will send your path straight soon and testimonies will abound.

Just like they say here, UAE is not the final destination but a step forward from Nigeria.

I remembered when I came here last year, I strive to meet people but ... hmmm everyone was busy just let me put it like that.

I didn't do their visa but I'm very interested in them getting fixed up to job soonest.

So pls reach out to guys who arrive here irrespective of if you facilitate visa or not.

Our common goal is SUCCESS.

My brother you're right just that some of us are at the end of our visa validity.

Someone like me has been in Nigeria and my residence visa will automatically become invalid by next month if I don't enter UAE.

So even though I concur with you but I need not wait for Ramadan to end cos I've waited long enough and this is where it has landed me, waiting, waiting and waiting. Naija matters nawa

Your case is different bro, but are there no delegates going to UAE embassy?

Possibly some of them are using private jets to enter Dubai from reliable source.

I feel so bad for our people coming in... please just bear with the situation.

Honestly speaking from the depth of my heart, with ramandan and the slow pace of job hunting. I will not advice anyone who's not buoyant to pass through cotonu/ghana except you are coming here to do your freelance residency.

My opinion: office timing are reduced and slow pace of business until the last 10 days to end ramandan.

Let's hope flights resume on or before the end of ramandan.

I read on premium times that they did...their proposal was directed to the ministry of foreign affairs in Abuja through their embassy in Abuja their proposal was 200 passenger inbound flight every forth-night (two weeks) we don’t know if Nigerian government will agree to that proposal

Nigeria didnt agree actually but let's wait for a comprehensive reports. We are still flexing muscles.

please, what’s really the problem between Nigeria and UAE?

Just a simple problem of adhering to covid-19 protocols of testing few hours before boarding etc.

Nigeria refused and the problem has degenerated for weeks now.

Seems like everyone is not even bothered again.

By now nigerians should have protested this flight ban resolution at UAE embassy to look into this, we cannot do much from here.

Contonu may close soon...

Its a deep situation now...
