Religion / Where Will Suicides Spend Eternity? by timy2a: 8:57am On Sep 25, 2019 |
Imma Ọkọchụa September 23 at 11:56 AM · Where Will Suicides Spend Eternity? A few weeks ago, an American pastor committed suicide a day or so after officiating in the funeral of a suicide. During his own funeral, his senior pastor praised him for being in heaven and argued that one moment of sin cannot undue grace and that people are saved based on what Jesus did and not because of what they do or do not do. His grief-stricken wife quickly keyed into the claim and announced that her husband was now in heaven doing what he loved best. This provoked a theological firestorm in the US. Many people rejected the pastor's position and called him out for misleading Christians by offering false hope. A few praised him for giving hope to the bereaved Does the Bible make any express statement on the issue? What is the deduction from express statements related to saints and sin and death by self? What is the eternal fate of those who commit suicide? There is no express statement exclusive to suicides in the Bible. That is sure. There is no express statement that says "thou shall not kill thyself". But there are enough provisions in the Bible to lead to an easy conclusion. Jesus repeatedly said that only those who persevered or continued to the end would be saved or inherit life. In his appearance to John in Patmos, this is reiterated several times. The apostles also demanded that believers push on to the finishing line in order to win the crown of life. They also told us that some will draw back to perdition. The single aim of the epistles is to warn believers to believe to the end. This is important considering that both Jesus and His disciples endlessly warned that the Christian was going to face normal and abnormal difficulties, challenges, trials, persecutions and tribulations. "Be of good cheer" is Jesus' command and James said to "count it all joy". Paul said we should be "patient in tribulation". The Book of Hebrews says that He will have no pleasure in a person that draws back. Paul spoke of the possibility of being a castaway if he did not take time to persevere to the end. Again he used the analogy of the Israelites who although were saved from Egyptbaptized aptised into Moses and drank of the Rock, which is Christ, perished before they could enter the Promised Land due to unbelief. Firstly, Satan wants to stop us from getting saved. He blinds us and makes the gospel to be foolish to us. Secondly, we get saved in spite of all his efforts and then he focusses on sowing new doubts, discouraging us through trials and temptations. He uses the unsaved and also uses false preachers, false apostles, false teachers, even false brethren to wear us down. If we surrender to these by taking our own life, we lose. Big loss. Permanent loss. Suicide is like abortion, except that in the case of suicide, we are aborting ourselves out of God's plan. So, then, DO NOT commit suicide. NEVER! Unless you want to go to hell. To kill yourself because of the pressures of life is to draw back from His love. It is to stop believing in Him and His love and power. It is choosing hell after you had initially chosen life. Politics / Pythons Danced; People Died By Imma Okochua·monday, September 18, 2017 by timy2a: 4:53pm On Sep 18, 2017 |
III Chronicles ... According to the words of Prophet Imma Okochua which he spake upon Mount Agwo-Abali 1. In the fifth month of the second year of the reign of King Muhammadu the son of Buhari, it came to pass that the king himself ordered his captains to send unto the people of the east, evil serpents for to tempt them sore, to torment them and to kill them that shall fall into the temptation and them that passeth by the way of the temptation. 2. The serpents therefore assembled from all over the north of the country and some came from the other parts of the country and together they crawled toward the land of the east. 3. It came to pass that when they had assembled at Umuahia, the serpents, hissing, crawled and surrounded the abode of Nnamdi the son of Kanu, darting and casting their tongues about. 4. Wherefore when some youth of the place seeth the serpents lying in wait for Nnamdi (for the same Nnamdi wasgreatly beloved of certain of the people of the east) they threw stones at the beasts assaying to shoo them away, saying, “Depart from us, tempters!” 5. Then turned the serpents against the people of the east in their fury, coiled around some, poisoned some with the issue of their tongues, stung some, strangled some and swallowed some. 6. The serpents which weret at Aba also crawled round the city for to provoke the people of the east but the tetrarchs of the east had warned the sons of the east not to answer the serpents neither good nor bad seeing that they came for the do harm to the people and to remove the tetrarchs from their thrones if they should resist them in their enterprise. 7. And some among the people of Aba, some of the children of belial, nevertheless went abroad to meet the serpents on the way. And they were straightway bitten by the serpents. And the serpents also bit others of the sons of the east, coiled round them, scourged them, spat on them, struck them and took some of them captive. 8. And the tetrarch of the region of Abia, tetrarch Okezie made a proclamation to the people saying: “Ye sons and daughters of Abia, hearken to me. Ye are forthwith forbidden to go abroad from thine dwelling places from the sixth hour even unto the rising of the sun of the morrow thereof.” And the people obeyed. 9. And tetrarch Okezie, the son of Ikpeazu thought to himself saying, “Now, shall I prove to the serpents sent by King Mohammadu that the people of the east are peaceable and he shall remove these serpents from my domain.” 10. But he wist not that it was not so. 11. But the captain of the serpents answereth unto the tetrarch saying, 12 . “We shall not surely leave thine domain until we have done all that is in our heart. 13. Thou shall hold thine peace and give unto us all that we require of thee and thine people for the word of the king is sure and certain.” 14. Then did all the tetrarchs of the east, I say the tetrarchs of Anambra, Imo, Ebonyi, Enugu and Abia, together with the elders of the land of the east, Oha-Na-Eze, haste towards Enugu for to take counsel concerning the evil that had befallen the land of the east. 15. And after they had communed among themselves they spake thus, saying: “Thou Nnamdi and thou sons and daughters of the east who followeth him; thou have brought much trouble and sorrow to the east. 16. Thou hast given our enemies occasion to surround our region and scourge us and wound us and kill us; thou shall cease from all thine chambering, thine tumult and thine gathering.” 17. And some of the people that followeth Nnamdi answereth them saying: “Wherefore speaketh thou thus? 18. Seeth thou not that we fight for thee and for thine children and thine children’s children? 19. Now why makest thou our hands weak and sendeth us out of the midst of our people to the wilderness of the east and to caves and to valleys? Thou hast not done well in this that thou hast done and we shall not hearken unto thee.” 20. And the elders and the tetrarchs answered unto them and said: “Considereth thou not how aforehand we adviseth the young man, Nnamdi the son of Kanu in our meeting saying to him that he shouldest forbear from setting up Biafra Secret Serve and Biafra National Guard but to speak wisely but firmly of the suffering of our people? 21. Asketh we not him to continue to speak of the suffering of our people but not to mix it with demand to utterly separate our people from the rest of the country of Nigeria? But He would not hearken unto us his fathers or unto his leaders. 22. Tellest we not him that when some young men of the Niger Delta region declareth that they shouldest pursue independence in the first months of the reign of Muhammadu and the same King Mhuammdu sendeth an army of serpents and vultures to their region 23. and the elders of the region and the tetrarchs thereof summoneth the youths and beseechest them not to bring evil upon their own land for they be not able to resist the army of King Muhammadu, how that the young men refraineth from their promise to declare their own country. 24. But this Nnamdi, without spear, arrow, bow, mattock, without horses or chariots, wtihotu a word from the Lord, designeth to give our people into the hand of the dancing pythons and vipers from the north and other consenting regions of Nigeria. 25. Wherefore, Nnamdi followeth not our counsel but callest us enemies of the people.” 26. And some of the youth were pricked in their hearts and held their peace and goeth back to their houses 27. but some of the young men cleaveth still unto Nnamdi. 28. And it came to pass that the serpents from the north and from other regions of the country of Nigeria remaineth in the land of the east, crawling everywhere that the people liveth or doeth their trade or tillest their ground taunting and tempting them. 29. And it came to pass that those of the people of the east who dwelleth in the north, I say the elders of the people, following their tetrarchs and elders of the east, joined themselves together in their cities in the north and proclaimed saying: 30. “We know not Nnamdi nor do we follow the son of Kanu. Behold, we be Nigerians and abide here peaceably. Do us no harm.” 31. But the people that supporteth Nnamdi in Facebook who liveth abroad and in all other cities of Nigeria outside the east held not peace their but waxed their tongue and speakest against the tetrarchs and elders of the people of the east but yet feareth to go home to the people of the east wherein the man Nnmadi had caused the serpents to dwell. And this thing pleaseth not the wise ones of the east nor the elders or the tetrarchs thereof. It pleaseth not also the Lord. 32. Now, listen to me, ye sons of the east and hearken ye youths of today. Thine fathers fought in the war against the north and all those who supported them in that war. They fought because the people of the north made a great slaughter of the people of the east dwelling among them in the time of peace and over thirty thousand men, women and children fell dead in their dwellings places in the north, in their schools, markets and on the roads, yea, even in the barracks. 33. They fought not because the north cheateth them in the apportioning of the wealth of the nation. The fought because they were killed and promised more killing. 34. Thou shall not fight because they cheateth thee of thine own share of the wealth of the nation. 35. Thou shouldest rather mobilise and partake of politics, which be the means to settle issue that pertain to politics. 36. Hearken, my children to me; how many be they of thee that casteth their ballots in past elections? Answer thou me and refrain not. 37. How many of thee belongeth to political parties of today? 38. Wherefore shall thou forebear to partake with all thine heart and all thine soul of the lawful striving for power? 39. Knoweth thou not that Ojukwu after that he had fought and led the people to fight against those that killeth his people, ceaseth and partook of casting of ballot until he gave up the ghost? 40. Beware that thou bringeth not wrath upon us all of the people of the east for thine foolishness. 41. Who tellest thee that thou are wiser than thine elders? Cease from thine foolishness and take counsel of me. Seek wisdom and thou shall find it. Religion / How Might Single Guys Handle Their Sexual Urges In A Christ-like Manner? by timy2a: 4:47am On Sep 01, 2013 |
AUG 09, 2010 |JOHN THOMAS QUESTION: As a 28-year-old, Christian, single guy, I've heard this message preached countless number of times: I need to honor the girls in my life and treat them with respect. I need to view them as sisters in Christ. Great message. What I was hoping this article would tackle is the question, "How does a single man deal with the lack of physical intimacy?" Although I am very secure in myself and thoroughly enjoy the stage of life I am in, physical intimacy is one of the areas that seems ... how can I put it ... non-existent. However, the "male urges" are still existent. How are single, Christian guys supposed to handle this issue in a Christ-like manner? I think the majority of us already know how we are supposed to treat women. On top of that it's our strong desire to give them the respect that they deserve. So instead of us just hearing what we are not supposed to do, it would be nice to hear how we can fill that seeming void that exists when we do the right thing. I think this unfortunately dives into the problem with porn in the Christian church today. Although I am not trying to condone it in any way, I'm sure that many times pornography turns into the coping mechanism for the lack of physical intimacy in Christian, single men. I already know and could teach the lesson about the harms of porn, so that's not the issue. It's a battle in which I already know right from wrong. Sometimes that battle is lost. And I know for myself, one of the justifications that runs through my mind is that this is one way to achieve the facade of physical intimacy without hurting the "sisters in Christ" immediately surrounding me. This in no way really justifies the act, and guilt always follows. I may be the only one that thinks that, but I guess I'm hoping that I'm not. If this issue was tackled by a brave soul, it would be nice to hear it coming from a positive standpoint of godly ways to fulfill that desire as opposed to an article coming down on the graveness of pornography and uncontrolled flirting. ANSWER We've received numerous variations on this same question, and I have much to say about it — too much for one response — but let's at least get started. I could give you the standard "flee temptation/be pure" answer and leave it at that, but it wouldn't do you much good. Don't get me wrong, the Bible is chock full of "flee temptation/ be pure" instruction, but that really doesn't get to heart of it. We're going for a holistic approach. I want to acknowledge John Eldredge for helping me organize my thinking on this issue in his book Wild at Heart. I encourage you to read it — once now and again when you turn 40. You'll get a different message a decade or two from now. What is this illusive male "urge"? It is not — I repeat — not merely the sexual impulse or desire for orgasm. The male urge goes much, much deeper than sexual release. A man needs — "urges" for — three primary things: a battle to fight, a beauty to rescue and an adventure to live. Eldredge points out that all three desires are placed in a man's heart by God himself, dating back to Adam. It's a theme that recurs over and over in mythology and romantic stories. The knight in shining armor fights valiantly for the noble cause of the kingdom, defeats the enemy and rescues the damsel in distress. From Cinderella to Braveheart, the theme is the same — a beauty, a battle, an adventure. We men desire to be that hero. We desire to live that adventure, to fight that fight and unveil the beauty of a woman. We think, But I'm not on the streets of Baghdad fighting terrorists; there are no more knights or gladiators. I'm just a regular ol' guy in the modern world, earning a degree or working my job. There are no more battles to fight, no adventures to live, no beauties to rescue. So we retreat to the illicit and are distracted for a few moments from our boredom. Second Samuel 11-12 is a snapshot of exactly what I'm talking about, the infamous Bathsheba Incident. David, the once great-warrior, has quit fighting, even while a battle raged around him. While the other men fought valiantly, he lounged back home on his couch watching Bathsheba, someone else's wife, take a bath (porn) and then used her. In contrast, her warrior-husband Uriah wouldn't even think of sleeping in his own house with his own wife while a battle raged. His heart called him into battle. The beauty would have to wait. Satan's Big Lie to you, to every man, is that there is no battle, or at least not one worthy of your participation. Here, he says when he offers the illicit, here's a little something to keep you busy in the meantime, while you wait for something to happen. But Scripture disagrees, "Be sober- minded; be watchful. Your adversary [tell me, if there's no battle, why do you have an adversary?] the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour [nope, no battles here ...]. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world" (1 Peter 5:8-9, ESV). Let me ask you, if a real lion were about to literally eat your heart, would you be thumbing through a Victoria's Secret catalog? No. You'd be fighting for your life. Most of us live like life is a trip to the mall, but as Eldredge says, in reality it's more like the opening scene of Saving Private Ryan (Normandy Beach, D-Day, WWII). Your adversary, the devil, is not merely trying to get you to be sexually illicit, whether through sex or masturbation. The enemy is trying to destroy your masculine strength, hoping to distract you from battle against him, thus making you ineffective. He might offer counterfeit battles (a lifetime dedicated to the accumulation of things), counterfeit adventures (Jackass: The Movie activities) and/or a counterfeit beauty (the detached women of porn and advertising). But those aren't really the problems. Your urges are not the problems. Your heart's deepest longings are God-given, but for them to be fulfilled, you must get out on the front lines in the battle for your heart. Here's my advice: The next time you're tempted to satisfy your urges illicitly (and married men, by the way, have the same temptations and urges), let me give you a new image. Picture yourself in full military gear, strapped head to toe with weapons. It's scorching hot. You're on the wall of the castle, the center of the kingdom and inside that castle is its most valuable possession: your heart as God desires it to be. The sweat and blood are dripping from your face. Your hands are gripping a fully automatic 50 caliber machine gun. Your job is to stop any enemy force that dare attack — no, devour — your heart. Now, pull the trigger. I wish I could grab every young man by the shoulders and say, The battle! The battle! The battle! The battle is raging, but it's not a battle merely against porn or any other illicit behavior. The battle raging is for your heart. Even as a Christian, your old nature acts as an insurgency. You must fight that battle every day. Your weapons are spiritual disciplines ( Ephesians 6:10-20), especially prayer and reading God's Word. I want to issue a challenge to you. I want to call you into the battle, to fight like you've never fought before. If I told you that there is someone who right now is stalking you, watching your every move, with the intent of stealing from you, killing you, destroying you, literally devouring your masculinity, would you view life differently? Of course you would. You'd be on high alert every minute — a Special Ops soldier on night patrol down the streets of Baghdad — finger on the trigger, watching for flashes of light, ready to fire. What I just described is not hypothetical. It is your reality. Your enemy the devil is at war with you, and according to 1 Peter 5:8, is prowling around you, seeking to devour you. Every day you wake up, your enemy has your heart in his sights. What better way to keep you ineffective than by offering you counterfeits for the desires God has placed in your heart? Rather than embracing the adventure of a vibrant, Christian life, you chase the short-lived adrenaline rush. Rather than pursuing the beauty of your life — your wife or wife-to-be — you retreat to the detached women of porn and advertising. Rather than engaging the battle for your heart and the hearts of others, you settle for fighting for material gain or prestige. As a result, you are partially satisfied, fairly bored and completely distracted from war. Every day you wake up, you wake up in an arena. You're Maximus. And when you open your eyes, the enemy starts swinging, because he knows that if you really engage, you are dangerous. You've got to get your hands on some armor and some weapons, and fast. Ephesians 6:10-18 tells you what those are. That passage assures you that you are not fighting porn, per se, or anything else you can see with your flesh and blood eyes. You are fighting the unseen powers of darkness — Satan and his demons and their schemes against you — therefore your weapons are spiritual. I know this can be very, very unfamiliar territory for you, but it is absolutely essential that you go there. It feels like wilderness, but that's OK. You can train yourself. The passage describes your armor and your weapons. There is an extensive list, but I'm going to challenge you on just two weapons that leap out of the passage: prayer and God's Word. Those are the nuclear bombs in your arsenal. You must get serious about these two disciplines of the Christian life. Any Christian I know who has any depth has these two things in common: They pray, and they study the Bible with disciplined regularity. Here's my advice in the form of a challenge: Every day for the next seven days, set your alarm 15 minutes earlier than usual, and start the next seven days with 15 minutes of prayer and reading God's Word. Start by reading a Psalm and a chapter of Proverbs (choose the chapter that corresponds with the day of the month if you wish) and then finish the time by praying (if you need some guidance on prayer, consider using ACTS, an acronym for Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving and Supplication). After seven days is up, set your alarm for 15 more minutes earlier, and start the next seven days with 30 minutes of reading and prayer. Continue this cycle and in about a month you'll be starting your day with an hour of prayer and reading. You'll soon discover that even an hour isn't enough. Here's my story about the first time I tried to start the day with prayer. I commend you for addressing the issue of physical intimacy as a single person and wanting to respect and honor the young women in your life. You showed a lot of courage in writing us. Rest assured, though, that being single is not the reason this is an issue. The struggles and temptations continue after marriage, because the battle for your heart continues. Go to battle on behalf of your masculine wiring. Fight for your heart every day. Be active in the pursuit of the beauty — the wife — God has for you. Live the adventure of a life committed to Christ. Focus on these things, and the rest will fall into place. Blessings, JOHN THOMAS P.S. Anyone willing to take the challenge? Let us know. Copyright 2010 John Thomas. All rights reserved. |

How do you see this? 2011/10/18 4:18 Profile Re: Speaking in tongues I do, I do not see anything in scripture to suggest it ceased with the apostles. However, the writings of the church leaders in the 2md & 3rd centuries do suggest there was a dramatic decrease in tongues. Now, I believe most of what we see in the church especially in America and other western countries in regards to tongues is foolishness. But I believe there is a legitimate gift of tongues. I do not believe in a "heavenly prayer language" because that is not found in scripture. Tongues are not given to every believer, and tongues are not the initial sign of being "baptised by the Holy Spirit". Paul, when arguing that there are different gifts for different purposes, all given by the Holy Spirit according to His purposes… he says “Do all speak in tongues?”, and contextually the answer is obviously “No.” Those Christians who claim to speak in tongues are not more spiritual or mature or special than those who do not. I’ve known of some very hideous people who “speak in tongues” (Benny Hinn and Todd Bentley), and I’ve known of some saintly people who never have. (Billy Graham has never spoken in tongues, neither did Charles Spurgeon) Some are going to want to argue with me on these points. Religion / 50 Biblical Reasons Why Jesus Died For Us by timy2a: 8:58pm On Mar 30, 2013 |
This year, I've been reading through John Piper’s short book Fifty Reasons Why Jesus Came to Die. Piper offers 50 biblical reasons why Jesus died for us. Even a cursory read of the chapter titles can be very inspiring, but the book – which is available as a free PDF – offers two-page explanations of all 50 statements. This Easter, take time to meditate on all Christ accomplished for you through His death and resurrection. May a deeper knowledge, faith and love be yours in Christ Jesus. Christ Suffered and Died… 1. To Absorb the Wrath of God 2. To Please His Heavenly Father 3. To Learn Obedience and Be Perfected 4. To Achieve His Own Resurrection From the Dead 5. To Show the Wealth of God’s Love and Grace for Sinners 6. To Show His Own Love for Us 7. To Cancel the Legal Demands of the Law Against Us 8. To Become a Ransom for Many 9. For the Forgiveness of Our Sins 10. To Provide the Basis for Our Justification 11. To Complete the Obedience That Becomes Our Righteousness 12. To Take Away Our Condemnation 13. To Abolish Circumcision and All Rituals as the Basis of Salvation 14. To Bring Us to Faith and Keep Us Faithful 15. To Make Us Holy, Blameless and Perfect 16. To Give Us a Clear Conscience 17. To Obtain for Us All Things That Are Good for Us 18. To Heal Us from Moral and Physical Sickness 19. To Give Eternal Life to All Who Believe on Him 20. To Deliver Us From the Present Evil Age 21. To Reconcile Us to God 22. To Bring Us to God 23. So That We Might Belong to Him 24. To Give Us Confident Access to the Holiest Place 25. To Become for Us the Place Where We Meet God 26. To Bring the Old Testament Priesthood to an End 27. To Become a Sympathetic and Helpful Priest 28. To Free Us From the Futility of Our Ancestry 29. To Free Us From the Slavery of Sin 30. That We Might Die to Sin and Live to Righteousness 31. So That We Would Die to the Law and Bear Fruit for God 32. To Enable Us to Live for Christ and Not Ourselves 33. To Make His Cross the Ground of All Our Boasting 34. To Enable Us to Live by Faith in Him 35. To Give Marriage Its Deepest Meaning 36. To Create a People Passionate for Good Works 37. To Call Us to Follow His Example of Lowliness 38. To Create a Band of Crucified Followers 39. To Free Us from Bondage to the Fear of Death 40. So That We Would Be With Him Immediately After Death 41. To Secure Our Resurrection From the Dead 42. To Disarm the Rulers and Authorities 43. To Unleash the Power of God in the Gospel 44. To Destroy the Hostility Between Races 45. To Ransom People From Every Tribe and Language 46. To Gather All His Sheep From Around the World 47. To Rescue Us From Final Judgment 48. To Gain His Joy and Ours 49. So That He Would Be Crowned With Glory and Honor 50. To Show That the Worst Evil Is Meant by God for Good Taken from: 50 Reasons Why Jesus Came to Die by John Piper Source: community.focusonthefamily.com/b/boundless/archive/2013/03/28/fifty-reasons-christ-came-to-die.aspx |

The Harder they come - Jimmy Cliff Oh yeah, but oh yeah, oh yeah, alright Well, they tell me of a pie up in the sky Waiting for me when I die But between the day you're born and when you die They never seem to hear even your cry So as sure as the sun will shine I'm gonna get my share now, what's mine And then the harder they come, the harder they'll fall, one and all Ooh, the harder they come, the harder they'll fall, one and all Well, the oppressors are tryin' to keep me down Tryin' to drive me underground And they think that they have got the battle won I say forgive them Lord, they know not what they've done 'Cause as sure as the sun will shine I'm gonna get my share now, what's mine And then the harder they come, the harder they'll fall, one and all Ooh, the harder they come, the harder they'll fall, one and all Oh yeah yeah, well, oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah But I'll keep on fighting for the things I want Though I know that when you're dead you can't But I'd rather be a free man in my grave Then living as a puppet or a slave So as sure as the sun will shine I'm gonna get my share right now, what's mine And then the harder they come, the harder they'll fall, one and all Ooh, the harder they come, the harder they'll fall, one and all Hey, the harder they come, the harder they'll fall, one and all Hey, the harder they come, the harder they'll fall, one and all Hey, the harder they come, the harder they'll fall, one and all |
Politics / Re: A Brief Encounter With General Buhari by timy2a: 9:38am On Dec 14, 2012 |
Truth be told, Nigeria is yet to have good leaders like in the mold of Muritala and Buhari. We need leaders with such heart ready to fight corruption, fearless and prudent with our scarce resources. May God give us such leaders who understands that a nations wealth is for the benefit of all its citizen and not for the greedy few. 8 Likes |

In my sincere opinion Experience 2012 lived up to expectation. My highpoint was when a lady who came using crutches was miraculously healed while singing "He's Able" while D. Haddon was ministering. Every artiste lived up to expectation esp. Don moen, Fred Hammond and Mike Aremu. I look forward to Experience2013. |

Politics / Re: Buhari’s Running Mate: Bakare Decides Today ! by timy2a: 7:35pm On Jan 31, 2011 |
Even if Tunde Bakare/Buhari dont win, we will still believe in the change they want. Enough of looters stealing our money. For those that believe Men of God are to stay in the church, you have read your bible wrong. A large percentage of men that made huge impact in the bible are not confined to the church. talk of moses, daniel, david, abraham. they were all leaders and not preachers. I have listened to Bakare's messages about Nigeria and there was not one time that I heard him say God told him to run for office but his passion for his nation is what pushes him and I will support such a man. A man that stand up for all and not just sit and collect people offering and live large on it without talking for once on the state of our nation. I SUPPORT BAKARE My Brother, i feel you too, I support Bakare should he decide to run for VP with Buhari as President. We need more men of God like him - fearless and passionate about Nigeria (similar to Martin Luther King jnr). With people like Pst. Tunde at the helm of our nations affairs; there is hope for positive change. I believe when the righteous reigns, the people rejoices, |
Romance / Re: Guys Only: What Do Men Really Want In Ladies? by timy2a: 1:34pm On Oct 14, 2010 |
My Dear E-Pentium, it is rather unfortunate that most men world over believe in pre-marital sex as a pre-condition to marriage. What i can tell you is that once you can stand your ground as a lady without compromise you will find the right man that will want you for who you are. Very few ladies keep themselves due to constant pressures from men. As a man i dont think its fair to demand from a lady something i myself can't offer. So for the man and ladies seeking relationship, it's only fair to ask for qualities that matches your. For instance , most men want a woman that is respectful and God fearing but are they themselves respectful and God fearing. That is food for thougth, |
NYSC / Re: Mark Seeks Extension Of Youth Service To Two Years by timy2a: 1:59pm On Aug 06, 2010 |
Hmmmm! I think Mark should also include in his suggestion that people like him (who im sure didn't partake in the scheme) should first be made to do so compulsorily (two years of Now Your Suffering Continues). It's unfortunate he made no comments about the allowee (how poor it currently stands - less than N10,000/month) and the risk of religious and ethnic tensions. Is it worth it? Please, Mr. Mark reconsider your position. |

Romance / Re: Ridiculous Excuses Men Give To Evade Marriage by timy2a: 10:08pm On Nov 28, 2008 |
Wow!i marvel at all these ridiculous excuses men give to dodge marriage. But can u try to imagine the high bride price especially in the eastern part (Igbos) especially in some parts of Anambra where as a man u must virtually empty your life investments in the name of traditional marriage. I say make una hold una daughter until when pepper rest (when i don 'gbulozu'), i hope i have some witness |
