Whoever finishes construction first wins. The race is on between Dangote and Uganda.

As long as they are not given drilling rights here, Kenya has no business responding.

African countries should take advantage of the Russian offer to build and operate nuclear power plants. The cost would be too much otherwise. It's a no brainer win win deal

I think I didn't explain myself well. The problem is not Somalia it's Turkey. They are not selling anything to Somalia they are gifting them. Why? Oil and gas. There is nothing Kenya can offer them that can be more beneficial than the billions of dollars they stand to make.

What is being played is a very good long term game by Turkish intelligence to lure Kenya into laxity.

That conflict is inevitable. Kenya needs an ally that hates turkey and would be willing to fight them by proxy. Like Russia.
