Iran has been trading despite sanctions for years.

Russia has a land border with China. An African country can use a Chinese shipping company to buy and ship through China. It would still be much cheaper than the world market prices because Russia is currently selling it products at a discount.

Some European countries have increased their trade with Russia after the sanctions.

Also a country like S.Sudan has a lot of fertile idle farmland. If they seriously invest in growing wheat they can earn a lot of money because this conflict will last for years and so will the high prices

Europe is trying to cut off trade with Russia. This should be a big opportunity for Africa to trade with them, even if it is to batter food(fruits, vegetables, sugar,...) For fertilizer and bitumen.

This is what the us did to Iraq for months then did the same to Serbia, Syria Lybia,.... Russia has intentionally been restrained despite what is being said in the media. Poland might be nuked this year if nato does not stand-down

many volunteers for the Ukrainian foreign legion are running back home because the fighting is too violent and Ukrainians are preventing them from leaving by cutting their passports and dragging them to the frontlines . It's like they thought the Russians will not shoot back.

Looks like Syrians and Central Africans are headed to Ukraine. With European volunteers on the other side the conflict is now a word war.

The only thing you do with this post is feeding the western narrative of dump Africans. Every serious professional in Africa understands how these sanctions are knitted. African countries should buy OPEC-oil and directly support countries like Nigeria not Russia.

The best move would be to stop using SWIFT and use the Chinese CIPS/SPFS. This would sanction proof any country

African countries are always quick to do what us and Europe tells them but if you read the sanctions carefully you will see that they have sanctioned Russian vessels but the oil is not. They have actually increased amount of oil bought from Russia since the conflict started.

Africans should do what is best for their people including buying oil which Russia has currently discounted and wheat to lower food prices

Nigeria is wise to get arms from both the west and east. If either side to withhold spares or support the military will still have functioning systems unlike S.Africa which is dependant on the west
