Instead of APC and followers to be ashamed of a missed opportunity for their Presidential candidate to have showcased the "CHANGE" they all scream about, I come in to Nairaland this morning and read a spin about GEJ having expo?!

In the presidential debate I watched?! That the answers to questions were randomly assigned to respondent, of which most first respondents were almost put on the spot; giving others room to gather their thoughts and responses! and also giving them the opportunity to draw from each others responses to elaborate on theirs.. i.e. on the instance when the President building from the KOWA's presidential candidates statement of reviving the nations cash crops. stated that the step improvement would be to add value to our raw materials but not only growing our cash crops pyramids but processing them ......Mehn

you are looking at it from food angle only. most of the food that we eat are produced in nigeria, which is why the inflation has not hit the roof. unlike russia that almost everything comes from west.

e.g bread, garri, rice, beans,yam eetc. almost all these commodities are produced in nigeria, if we import most of these items, you wont be paying the same amount you have been paying.

the only thing nigerians import most is tecnology, cars, mobile phones, etc.. and all these things have sky rocketed. the tecno phone that costs 100usd before which is 16000 before the devaluation now costs 20000 after devaluation.

Yes so people like you and I who buy online will definately feel the impact of the devalued Naira, However for locally sourced products, that would have been impacted by a reduced cost of production as a result of more stable electricity, reduced cost and modes of transportation, likely increased pdemand (as a result of opportunity cost of buying the foreign goods)

My take on this is I think Buhari is not naive, maybe he was in 2011 but by now OBJ has briefed him on the realities on politics in Nigeria. He must know that he owes Tinubu something should he win the election, however by the time he wins he'll be the President C IN C, with enormous power at his disposal. I think he'll meet Tinubu half way, with some juicy appointments, although I see him warning that if any of the appointees are caught in corruption they would face the full wrath of the law.

Revoking Oil block licenses would be very difficult unless the aim is to nationalize them. There are legal implications, and the FG could be taken to court. If he revokes them and then Tinubu is seen to get some in new auctions, there will be a massive out cry, also it would do nothing to sooth what would be a very volatile situation in the South-South, after the loss of the Presidency.

In summary Buhari would be expected to reward Tinubu to some degree, but maybe not as far as Tinubu expects. Tinubu will have to play along as he has nowhere else to go.

Imagine yourself, see how they make it sound as though it is a given and acceptable?
And we should sit idly by and watch this happen?

By the time GEJ is through with diversifing this economy every region will bear their names.

Once again they are promising to use their military might to stabilize oil prices.

I listened to the press conference and what i deduced from that conference is that the wuruwuru aka quota system was at play.

He left school at form 6 with a letter of recommendation by His Secondary principal only, but on His form they indicated he had his school certificate.... Maybe he had the intention to sit for his WAEC but didnt eventually do so and then he rose through the ranks having "satisfied" the Nigerian Military admission requirement.

The Military Public Director said however they didnt have a certified true copy of that certificate in his file.
That he had to resort to the press conference to clear the air because they had be indaunted with request both from individuals and corporate bodys to release the credentials of the General.

This matter is very simple oh!
There is still a WAEC board in Nigeria... They should be petitioned to produce a copy of the Generals results.

Else the maybe the Genreal plans to produce it during the Press conference.
All we want is confirmation of the existence of a secondary school cetificate, we wey go school no be say e easy!!!

This is how it all starts. The governor has issued a security alert about the state of things in Adamawa but people are insisting elections must hold. When boko haram strikes and kills several thousands,they'd turn around and blame GEJ. If the place is not secure for elections,let the elections in that state be canceled.

How possible is it for him to get to rank of a Major General in the Nigerian Army without a base i.e an O level or its equivalent
