PoliticsRe: Sanusi's Letter Is The Biggest Lie In Nigerian History by Tintinix: 10:08am On Dec 16, 2013
This whole saga is very easy to resolve and would be clearer after the meeting to reconcile accounts between the CBN, NNPC, DPR and FIRS!
So experts in the house continue assuming and concluding and deducing and reteirating and supposing and Stating.

However if for any reason the Diverted/Missing Billions of DOLLARS is reconciled and found/not found to be where it should be then I can begin discussion. For now I am happy to continue reading how the mindset of people functions with incomplete information.

Lucasbalo: You are right. That guy was a well known dope trafficker here in US.
Whom according to this piece served OBJ's wimps and caprices up until now that the body language and handwriting on the wall as regarding the inclination of South west not to identify with the new APC was clear!
Their political machinations had failed so he resorts to this!
One thing this whole saga is doing for us Nigerians is that it is letting us in on a speck of the dirty little secrets of our leaders.

See them shamelessly hailing themselves.
So this dug up thread is now justified since the digger has been identified by you not to be pro-Jonathan!
So what happens to your matter of fact 'definately pro-jonathan' statement??

This right here is amongst the bane of our problem!
You know in parts but speak with so much confidence as if you know it all.

PoliticsRe: Obasanjo Accuses Jonathan Of Promoting Corruption by Tintinix: 11:17am On Dec 11, 2013
GEJ is getting to the powers that be, this is getting very interesting!!
However I am curious to know exactly were the almost 50 billion dollars is! $50b is NOT Naira!!

See OBJ talking about trust and intergrity as a virtue of a politician!!! Where? In Nigeria?!
So all these people speaking out when they have nothing to loss are really taking us Nigerians for granted and for fools!
They should all go and do the needful since it is appraoching!
They mentored and have raised all these sychophants we are seeing!

Ok, my new favorite section would be the Business section then, cos instead of wasting mb on pointless debates, maybe I will also glean some ideas on how to take advantage of these great developments.

PoliticsRe: **The Nerve Of Kaita And The Shame Of Mohammed** By Femi Fani-kayode by Tintinix: 4:03pm On Dec 07, 2013
talktimi: Even if other people have (conveniently) forgotten, i vividly remember Gej promising to rule for just a single tenure. I also remember nocturnal meetings between Gej & Tinubu which lead to the SW region dumping Ribadu by the wayside in exchange for Tinubu's freedom from corruption charges by the fg. I also believe that for the sake of peace and stability in this country, Gej should forget about the 2015 elections even if it means anointing a northern successor (al Mustapha my candidate) but that doesnt mean i will support careless utterances by people who are supposed to be advisers and our elder states men. Ok
My friend the best way to unseat GEJ if he decides to run run again, thus renegading on the nocturnal agreement that you were privy to is not to vote for him finish!
Not to threaten blood and death!
Infact the bloodshed and deaths we are experiencing now is called whathuh
EducationRe: FUTO Sacks All Academic Staff by Tintinix: 12:55pm On Dec 03, 2013
ogb5: If I abscond from work for only one hour, my phone will ring non stop, if I abscond for one week, that means i have sacked myself.

These lecturers have absconded from duty for half a year, we are still discussing if they should be sacked.

Only in Nigeria
Please tell them!
Talkless of engaging in union activities that would cripple my office even after reaching a middle ground after negotiations. I will be sued!

PoliticsRe: G-5, APC Merger Fallout:npdp Reps Abandon Their Govs by Tintinix: 11:23am On Nov 29, 2013
ochejoseph: ...There was
nothing like new PDP and old PDP. The
main thing we discussed was how to
dissociate ourselves from the crisis within
the party and the defection by some
governors to the APC,” a lawmaker who
craved anonymity stated.
Is that right!

ochejoseph: When asked what has changed since the
last time when they supported their
governors’ decision by signing up for the
nPDP, he said: “We know what we want
for ourselves. Some of us are not really
into the crisis but we had to show loyalty
to our governors.”
Who has no permanent friend or foe....Politicians!!!

ochejoseph: “Part of our demands is to know
specifically what is in it for us, if we decide
to give full support to our great party,”
the lawmaker added.
This right here is the most truthful saying that has emanted from this saga!
It is all personal! What is in it for us....!!

Nigerians we are all on our own.

PoliticsRe: Fundraiser For Oshiomole's "Widow Victim." The Widow Must Not Die! by Tintinix: 5:55am On Nov 29, 2013
This is a noble act I agree, but without consequence to the state government.

Lawyers on NL is there no way this woman can sue the Edo State Government?
Before long this dastardly and inhumane act could be a standard and not solicit this shock and outrage being expressed now.... Just thinking aloud.

PoliticsRe: APC Will Give Automatic Tickets To Defecting PDP Lawmakers by Tintinix: 5:34am On Nov 29, 2013
Please how are the original APC loyalists and aspiring politicians feeling about all these.
State Party structure, handed over to G5 nPDP Governors, automatic tickets handed over to all cross carpeting PDP lawmakers... Please what are the ACN party faithfuls still doing there?
It seems the ex-PDP members are the true progressives!
PoliticsRe: Electricity: New Owners Complain Of ‘overwhelming’ Problems by Tintinix: 4:29am On Nov 28, 2013
In fact I was surprised to come across a recent thread in which some ppl in Portharcourt were celebrating 24/7 power supply and was left wondering whether we are in fact sharing the same country and also what may be the national distribution formula/criteria; because most places in the Kano hardly get any light at all, leading to the unfortunate collapse of many of the industries - some are even suggesting it could be deliberate
So sorry for ur misfortune in Kano. I joined in the celebration of that thread on 24/7 power in PH, only for us to be hit with almost a week of no power, I searched for possible explanations and was relieved when I read that it was due to vandalism of a major pipeline delievering gas and repairs were expected to be concluded by the 26th of Nov, we however had about 3days of rationing after the major blackout and now ME_ABOKI honestly we are back to normal (over 20 hours of power per day) this is 3days counting.
@topic, I think it is not out of place that the decay in the power sector is being shared, however not to the point of hopelessness that this article leaves us with.
Fix the decay now, profit later, that is the work to be done! If it were easy the government wouldn't have sold it off.
