To your question, bonds tend to have higher yield because of their longer tenor. However, because it is difficult to predict what inflation will be over the course of the 10 or 20 or 30 years tenor, it just be might be better to invest in tbills (a year tenor) and keep rolling over. That way, you can always re-evaluate every year what makes sense.

Good evening dear nairalanders. I am ashamed that I am doing this and tears is dropping down my cheeks as I write this but this is my last resolve or else I could end it tonight and just go rest and meet my folks.
