After a meeting of the LAUTECH ASUU members, the upward review of school fees was given consideration and passed to the Vice Chancellor. The minimum school fees to be 200,000. This is coming after a recent upward review of school fees for 100L student from ₦65,000 to around ₦125,000 just last year.
LAUTECH should rise up. This school shouldn't die. Let the academic programme be stable. They should try to run minimum of 3 semesters in a year. They should also let the postgraduate programmes in the school to be fast so as to raise IGR. The era of using 7 years to do M.Tech in LAUTECH should be thrown away.
