Do u see Owen in the mix? Assuming Rooney is confirmed out?
Again, why does this look more like a derby to you?[/quote]

see footie pundit o shocked
NorthWest Derby my guy!

He has been shit. . . . . .He is not dominating strikers like he used to.
The only good game he's had all season was against STOKE
.

what about RIO? hes been on sickbed since day 1 and whenever he comes back, he gives Bellamy to score
how about that? tongue

we are goin to play 4-5-1 cos thts the way SAF prosecute difficult games
who wants to go to Anfield and be doing James Bond?

tk,
Vida hasn't been impressive as he should be.Something tells me his mind is elsewhere.
Yesterdays game was a shocker.Vidic was playing as if he'd been bitten by stage fright.

Besides,i don't buy this regular/non regular thing.Anybody good enough to wear our chevron-AIG should be ready for action anyday, anytime. We are not Arsenal, please.
Ando still isn't getting to the form he was 2 years ago.2 years ago i could have sworn on my life that United would beat Liverpool if Anderson and Hargreaves were playing.Fletcher is the man, though he does seem to be dovtailing.
My middle would be Carrick,Fletcher and Ando to start, though i ha ve worries about Ando.

Valencia isstill finding his feet. But he's still the best winger we've got.He will skin Aurelio/Insua,that i can guarantee. The definite NO is Nani.
my chairman
i agree Vida hasnt been in the best of form. Im only attackin saurons assertion that hes been shitty all season.

Ando has not been excellent but very effective in me opinion. I think Ando, Carrick, Giggs and Fletcher will take on Pool effectively
let the game begin

Read the post above!! get my drift?
Now take the bull by the horn i don't know u to shy away from challenge right? tongue grin grin
Vidic's overall performance this season has been ok for our games but u will agree with me he hasn't been in the form we know him for.
But all in all, Rio is worse off
. . . . but i will only see players true form when all the internationals are over!!
For me now, its on and off more or less. . .we really haven't see the Man U we know of. . .our best game thus far has been against Citeh and prolly Spurs. . . so mate, quit it. . . we won last nite and that for me is job done. . .don't waste energies when they are not needed
The KO's are still there!!
simple
Vidic has not been shitty all season

Sauron
i doubt SAF will play 4-4-2
he didnt play 4-4-2  last nite so i doubt if he'll have a go at Pool at Anfield
tht will be diggin our grave o

4-5-1 with our midfielders all over Gerrard . If we can nullify his threats, then the game is almost over.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread by tkb417(m): 3:32pm On Oct 22, 2009
He should play the fittest players.
If he goes for NAMES like he did at OT last season, we would get raped.
Personally, VDS, Vida, Rio, Evra, Fletcher, Berbatov, Nani, Rooney and Giggs MUST start.
are these not our regular players apart from Ando and Scholes

will love to see Ando in that middle sha
ando, Flether, Giggs and Carrick in the mid

no nani/valencia for me
this is not CSKA

Quit insinuations. . . . .Vidic looked really hay shaky last nite
And at some point i was really scared some set piece would go in. . . . .Good case in point, check the last Free kick CSKA took
How he let it slip beats me. . . if not for VDS's alertness, i don't think we would be saying the same thing.
Rio was also not strong just like he;s been all season. Even Brown looked like he's playing all season!!!

lets just thank God sha. . . . the defence needs to sort out its self.
do u need an interpreter to make u understand Saurons post?

he said Vidic has been shitty since the beginning of the season and i said NO
insinuations? how do u mean? i didnt attend a nursery school so kindly explain

Sauron
e be like say something dey worry ur head
if Viida made wrong passes to VDS's wrong foot means hes been shitty all season
u dey crase

SAF shld be sacked if he loses to Benitez?

but to be fair to bayern
is Bourdeux a bad team?
they won the league last season and currently 2nd on the table

its not like Rubin Kazan or Apoel or even Dynamo Moscow.
That game was played in France o

Our team selection will tell me if we are going to WIN or not.
Vidic has been shit this season and i dunno the kinda mental strength he would show at Anfield when he locks eyes with Torres again. He was annoyingly shaky last night.

However, Fletcher and Giggsy must start.
Rooney and Berbatov must also start. O'Shea should never play in the midfield again and i don't mind having Nani on the left channel.
We are good enough to beat Liverpool at Anfield but i won't be disappointed if we get a point there
.
rubbish!!

my 2 year old nephew knows who's been shit out of our central defenders
just 2 days ago, our Gaffer had to tell the person in question to shape in or shape out.

I learnt VDS even gave him a moral booster

so whos been shitty?
everyone knows apart from you

back to the game
we can afford to lose the game, they need it more than us.
i dont care, we'll win the league even if they beat us 100-0

Tkb,
but 49 is my favourite number. . . . .
story. we all know how you people wanted the unbeaten badly

cant u people try to make some records in europe?
are is it beyond arsenal?

Crizzle

Juande Ramos has a word for you on keeping possesion grin

Manchester United were the more classy team. They were very good in possession, while we made too many mistakes in the very end.
"good in possession" grin

if we hadnt done that, the goal wouldnt have come

now you agree its an aberration to get goals without keepin possession
are we game now grin grin grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread by tkb417(m): 10:39am On Oct 22, 2009
@Crizzle

back to our convo about possession and ur displeasure about not taking chances with the possession.
The Gaffer (SAF) saw all ma posts yesterday and decided to answer you in his press breifing. His tots are exactly what i told you.
You need to keep possession to get goals, you need to be patient even with the possession in order not to get bitten by the hosts.
SAFs response to you is below

There is a way of playing in Europe away from home and I think you saw that (against CSKA)," said Ferguson.

"We showed good patience and retained good possession and I think that was the key factor."

He added: "We are very pleased with our performance
Key words
retained good possession- key factor to the victory
showed good patience (we didnt wanna go gung ho like you suggested)
we played like we respected them (thts the way you can thrive in away games)

That explains our record equalling feat
14 away games unbeaten!!

all hail Manchester United
all hail SAF

we are the best in making and breakin records, not forgetin spoiling other peeps records grin grin 49 games unbeaten comes to me mind
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread by tkb417(m): 10:20am On Oct 22, 2009
just like Edudive tongue

Mancs
our lads were efficient and im glad at the way they turned up.

Nani was ok but with poor crossing; Valencia got the goal despite some poor one on one displays; scholes and Ando marshalled the mid very well; fabio was taken away again after a mixed performance. With VDS back , we could see some sanity restored; if Foster had played yesterday, we would have lost the game.

Good game and now we have our fiercest rivals on the cards
we are visiting Anfield where the sourcerers abound.

we have to be in our best element to survive the onslaught cos they really need this result to assure themselves they are not in crisis, they need the result to get the season back on track, they need the result to stamp their authority on UTD after doin a double over us last season and yes, they need to win to save Benitez from everlasting reproach from the press and other haters.

with all our players back from injury, with all of dem focussed on the game, then we should be able to do it again.
I swear it will be tight, it will be crazy, rough and tempers will fly

a draw will be massive for us!

One United!!!

lest i forget, i hate Liverpool

@Tkb
With all the possession, it took 86 minutes to get a goal.
You're proud of that?

Carrick gets to warm up. Fabio off.
the scoreline reads 1-0

if we didnt have possesion, we wont even have a goal and we'll probably be a goal down
thts the logic behind it

hold the ball well so that you can create chances.

The reason why Barca are known to be deadly is cos they dont release the ball and verily b4 90mins, they'll get a goal or more

possession bring goals is the summary
