yeah shes revered in this profession but what shes bringing to the table is stupid
Her simple/basic economic management principles didnt see how to save 7.5billon USD from the way Government functionaries are being over paid?
Her basic economic management principles cannot include how to be self sufficient in oil production as against oil importation?
her silly economics background cannot see the need for the provision of Social Overhead Capitals as a necessity for a 3rd world sick country like Nigeria?
If they are looking for resources to save, they should farking look inwards
slash our ridiculous recurrent expenditure by 50% and the money needed will be readily available
Nigerians SHOULD not pay for the inefficiencies of this present and past Governments
Okonjo is sounding retarded in me opinion |

No need to posts here again all ill be doing is just to favourite posts that make sense so here we go mbulela: i hope this Jones experiment in midfield will not be repeated again. each time i saw him,he looked lost, wondering who to mark and where to be at that particular point in time. if he is not can't play in the middle of the defence or at right back, just stick him in the bench.it is not a crime. I am just not comfortable with Smallings at right back. he himself is not comfortable with it,so i hope Rafael returns in the next 3 weeks. I have thought through it and that line up seems to make a bit of sense. if Giggs had a bit of trust in De Gea's instructions and stuck to the wall,we might have pulled it off. Fergie wants a fresh team to win in Otelu (without excuses) and win against city. in the scheme of those 3 matches, i think he assumed Liverpool was the one worth gambling with and he almost won the gamble. Vidic will return for Otelu, pairing Jones and Rio will return for City. Anderson will return for both and probably have his twin brother,Tom to enable him succeed (carrick will start against Otelu, Tom might come in as a sub). Rooney and Little Pea will pair for both. Young will be rested for Otelu, with Nani and Valencia providing the width, then Young and Nani will return for city. +1 |

montelik: D performance was far from great, but anyone who saw d starting eleven would not have expected much. As for d complaints of d initial line-up. This is d difference btwn football manager and real life situations. Rooney didn't start cos his head wasn't right. Playing a guy who is not mentally fit and strong, is worse than playing a guy who is not physically fit. Nani didn't start probably cos he just returned from 2 crucial qualifiers with Portugal. Would some of you have wanted him to start if he only barely passed a fitness test in a tight contest like a visit to Anfield. Valencia probably only just returned after a long flight from d South America WC qualifiers. Should he also have started after such a long trip. Should Vidic have played after just returning form a lengthy calf injury and just completing 90 mins a must win qualifier for Serbia. Remember this was 12 noon kick off before another trip to Otelu on Tuesday. Surely if you are reasonable you can understand why these guys didn't start. Imagine if all these guys started along with Fletcher who just played 90 mins for Scotland in a must win trip to d invincible Spain, Evra who recovered quickly enough after sustaining a knock with France and Young who also played with England.
Our last 3 visits to Anfield we have lost not cos we had too little quality on pitch, but cos Liverpool have outworked us and cos we were too open. They approach d game like a cup final and prevent us from really playing with any fluency, and then grind it out chances, look for mismatches and capitalize on mistakes. SAF reversed d trend and we got a point unlike d last 3 visits.
Beat City at home and back to d top of league. This is reality. Its chess not checkers. +1 |

montelik: I get all your points, this team has plenty of work to do and some individual players have to make d significant step up, particularly considering d recent wobbles that could have cost them dearly. But in my view considering d drastic reduction in average age of squad, d sales, retirement and withdrawal of certain more senior figures and promotion of other newer faces, as well as d clear change in pattern of play from d last 3 seasons. Its clear that this side is in transition once again and still a work in progress. It will get better with time and most certainly hasn't even peaked yet. Will they improve enough to match other recent dominant teams like d those through 06-09. We will see, but there is room for improvement and plenty of reasons to believe that those improvements will certainly come with time. There will be plenty of growing pains, but there is plenty of reason for optimism.
Hopefully another 3 points at Anfield on Saturday, before another crucial 2 games (Otelu away and then City) +1 |

Quote from: coogar on October 08, 2011, 07:44 PM then you went about talking about the gilt edge chances stoke, arsenal, chelsea, etc missed. . . . .what about the chances united missed in those games? we created better chances to score against those teams and we were more clinical than them. man utd vs arsenal could have ended 15-5 on the night. man utd vs chelsea could have ended 9-4! the fact still remains we have shown we can outscore our biggest rivals - that is what would win us titles! This is the best post from Coogar since he joined Nairaland cheers |

Question: In games so far in the league, have United fallen behind and showed guts/test of character to compare with that shyte team of last season? No! Simply because the Man U of this season has been better than the first 7 teams we have played (minus Stoke city cos it ended a draw) . . . we'll need another uber shyte team reminiscent of last seasons before we can compare |
