Yesterday you heavily implied having greater possession meant a goal was certain.
I disagreed, that it's not always about possession. Having greater possession and doing nothing with it is pointless. Ask Siasia's boys.
Goals are the main thing, not possession.

A team doesn't always have to enjoy greater possession to win a game. If you like create all the chances in the world with your possession, but if you don't take 'em, your opponents will most likely take 'em for you at the opposite end in just 10 minutes.
All they'll do is just look for an opening, and they'll strike. 36% possession won't count then.

Not criticizing possession.  .  .I'm heavily criticizing possession with no end-product.
I mean, 86 minutes to get just one goal in a game you heavily dominated? So much for possession.

it was a one sided game in terms of possession and goals
