If we are going to talk about modern day rogues, China is number 1... China's economy is built off stolen IP. China either steals your sh!t or buys stolen sh!t. All the illegal oil bunkered, where do you think they end up? CHINA!!! Largest marketplace for endangered animal parts? CHINA!! Biggest marketplace for illegal organ trade? CHIINNAAA!!! Infact some years back, a high ranking CCP official was caught with several kilograms of stolen African gold. My brother, China steals alot. As for Russia, Putin is secretly the richest man in the world, but that can't be made public because most of his wealth is ill gotten, and I don't know if you've noticed that the corruption eating Russia has been brought to light, thanks to the war in Ukraine. |

AldrichAmes: China paid for the cobalt mines in Congo - they didn’t take it forcefully like US and western countries have been doing for 100yrs.
You’re either ignorant or just a kid but Congo has never known peace and has been perpetually destroyed with wars, coups, civil wars, proxy wars, artificial farmine, diseases, etc. for over 100yrs by western countries because of how resource-rich it’s.
Heck, a UN Secretary General (he was Swedish or so but he was from a Scandinavian country) was assassinated (his murder is still unsolved) due to trying to help Congo in the 60s after Lumumba was killed by deploying Irish peacekeepers in the country. His plane was blown up in the sky by a fighter jet operated by a western country. That’s the length they have gone to, to destroy Congo. China isn’t doing none of that - it’s paying for everything it gets.
Who gives a shit about animal tusks when people are starving? Some of you are just uneducated idiots that parrot utter nonsense.
In business you need partners. Nothing out there is free and whoever you’re trading with also has interests. So when you get a partner that isn’t trying to exploit and destroy you and is trying to pay the market price for the goods you’re selling - you have to jump at it. And that’s what China is offering. US on the other hand is trying to destroy you while taking your goods for free - then come back and give you crumbs when you’re down on your knees in order to act as your saviour. There’s a difference between the two. You are obviously a circus clown... Do you think China didn't take advantage of the conflict in Congo to buy it's cobalt mine for less than their actual value? Did you also know that the crude oil stolen from Nigeria ends up in the hands of China? Who gives a shit about animal tusks? Then you are obviously a brainless child. Elephants are keystone animals, meaning by killing them, you are causing a complete ecological disaster for our continent. |

AldrichAmes: Stop drinking lazy propaganda kool-aid that dumb people down and start reading extensively and observing how the world works.
Admittedly, no country is perfect and there are no freebies out there because all countries look out for their own interests (the same way we all do as human beings in our everyday lives). However, in a crazy/racist unfair world that we’re in which was engineered by imperial/exploitative western countries based on their ideology of zero-sum game where it’s about winner takes all and survival of the fittest - when you see an opening for a symbiotic relationship with mutual benefits on a level-playing field - you have to grab with all your hands.
There’s a reason why all African leaders during the anti-colonial struggle embraced the Soviet Union over the west. And without the Soviet Union helping in defeating all the apartheid states in Southern Africa - all Southern African countries would be in the same predicament that Palestinians are in today. Hence those countries can never go against Russia and are forever thankful to them.
Russia for the most part wouldn’t really provide as much as China economically to African countries. However, militarily, food and technologically - it can help in a lot of ways. China became a technology giant by reverse engineering a lot of Russian technology and advancement in technology mostly come from military technology.
China for all its so-called “flaws” publicised in western propaganda has helped Africa more in the last 20yrs than western countries have done in 400yrs. And there’s a reason why the rise of China has fostered a bit of industrialisation and infrastructural development across Africa.
Now compare both to western countries’ slavery, colonisation, imperialism, pillaging, underdevelopment, utter destruction, etc., on the continent. Lol... I laugh at you! You call it "western propaganda ", but let's face it, it is still true, so it can't be called "propaganda " can it? Only a blind bafoon won't see China for what they are. China owns almost all the cobalt and copper mines in congo... China is the largest marketplace for endangered African animal parts like elephant tusks and rhino horns. You blind yourself stupid with hate for one invader, so much so that you are willing to sell yourself to another thinking you are free. People like you don't study history, and are doomed to repeat it. Look at how the Chinese threat Africans, like slaves... Now tell me, is that the country that will see you as an equal? If you think so, then you might as well join the circus. |

Plan to divide Africa was held in Germany
UK and France killed many African
So rest with your thinking AT WHAT POINT DID YOU HEAR ME SAY THAT THE WEST WAS INNOCENT??!! OPEN YOUR F*CKING EARS AND LISTEN!!! STOP BEING IGNORANT OUT OF HATE!!! in the plan to divide Africa, did you know that Russia was part of that meeting, to collect their share of goods stolen from Africa as well?! Russia sells arms to anyone and everyone, Boko Haram, Isis, Taliban, Nigerian government, ipob... They don't care about me or you, so by their actions they are still killing Africans. I don't even want to talk about China, because their own is worse. Russia and China aren't countries Africans should be closely associated with. If you want to know how our future relationship with them would look like, see how they treath our citizens. |

Globetrot: Please tell me bro, I don't know You know those billions china has been sending us? Yeah they are called debt traps. China is leading us to financial insolvency all for political gains. When America used to send us aide, they also tried the neo colonialists mentality nonsense on us... But they stopped when they realized that we weren't going to implement their policies (LGBTQ agenda) and also discovered that the money they had been sending since was being stolen by our politicians. China knows that the money they are sending us is being stolen by the politicians but they still keep sending more money, so that when they come for their money, we won't be able to payback and then the begin to seize Nigerian assets. Russia on the other hand don't give a sh!t about us... They sell weapons to anyone, ESN, IPOB, Nigerian army, Boko Haram... They don't care, as long as they are making money. |

AldrichAmes: Great news.
Nigeria and Senegal would be stupid not to take advantage of this opportunity.
The events in Ukraine created this silver-lining and once in a lifetime opportunity for strategic African countries to be in a position whereby they can take advantage of international relations, cooperation and business opportunities on equal footing - without being the exploited junior partners.
Hopefully, they’ll expand the largesse to Ethiopia and Algeria because both are strategic on the African continent. Kenya should get a shout but it’s a perpetual American puppet state. If only you knew how evil China and Russia are to African countries, you'd keep quiet. The people you are praising are just as bad, if not worse than the people you are hating. |

This is a good move, considering it's an economic organization, Nigeria must use every opportunity to grow it's economy. But any form of military alliance that would put us at odds with NATO would be totally idiotic!! |
