Hey Nairalanders, here's another great scam baiting site in addition to the one creamdream posted: http://www.419eater.com/ Peace! |
Rubbermaid:E pele o mama Grammarian! "I save my skills for my professional presentations, thesis, and other kumu nene kumu nene." Just bcus (Yes, I spelled the word "because" incorrectly) na you first manage go school get degree, the tin don enter your head come make am swell. na (And yes, I started a sentence using a lower-case) people like you go see person for outside and quick to judge them from the way they talk. I'm not arguing the fact that there are lazy and choose-to-be-ignorant people out there. Mind you, ignorance comes in all shades of color and amongst all nationalities. Now, for you to come here and insinuate that people on here are either uneducated or semi-educated is not only insulting but shows how judgmental and a self-righteous a-hole you really are. I'm sure you're probably one of the few that are quick to say they're ashamed of being Nigerians sometimes. Abeg oga moderator Seun, ban this yeye dey smell jare; na peopu (another incorrect spelling for you to note) like am go dey do like say them no dey shit. By the way, how did you know that only Nigerian graduates are treated like crap when they apply for jobs. What substantiating proof do you have to back up your claim. Has it ever occurred to you that they could be discriminated against not because of how they speak or by their color? As a black man in this country (USA) you have to be twice as good as the other person to be reckoned with, racism is still everywhere in case you're sill in your little I'm too good fantasy Island. Have a great day! Peace! Oh! lest I forget Ms. Grammarian, the word etc is not grammatically correct when used in ending a sentence o; I is just says I should let you no ma. Loosen up! Chikena! ![]() |
Sil, Either you are about to do this to someone's daughter or you're just looking for a storyline for another nollywood movie. For starters, your black a$$ is only 22 and you wanna tell me you've been procreating since the age of say 13 or 14? By the way, you never mentioned how old this friend's daughter is, which tells me you might be making this up or maybe thinking of doing it. If the latter is the case, then get the thoughts off your perverted mind because I'll tell you now, that's very sickening and you do need some medical help. So, think before you do it and if all what you said is true, then you don messed up big time bro. Seek help ASAP and like someone said only oga God go fit forgive you for this o; think about how you would feel if someone did this to your own child. That's what you should have been thinking whenever the perverted thought comes to your mind. Peace! |
chiogo:Chiogo, from your opening statement you did sound like you were generalizing that all Nigerian men are either or insensitive. I can understand why so many were jumping you on here. On the other hand, you seem to have handled yourself well. Mamaput made some valid points, so did other posters. Maybe the guy was indeed engrossed with all the fascinating sites at the mall like a poster stated. As a naija man, we no dey hide our amazement especially coming from naija and visiting for the first time. Just because you witnessed the occurence does not necessarily mean every single Nigerian man is the same. Peace! |
penfold:That's exactly what I was thinking when I stated for her to be cautious when letting him see the child. I just didn't want to sound harsh or mean about the father whom we don't know his motives. You raised some good points about his possible motives; especially the one about not being able to have a child of his own with another woman. Now, if that's the case, it would wrong and selfish of him to try to claim the child. Like I said before my sister, be cautious and don't let your guards down. good luck. Peace! |
My people, our boys lost by 3 - 1 to Uruguay in the quarterfinals. They tried their best but it was just not good enough. We'll get them next time. Peace! |
9ja4eva:As long you no dey for yanky as man dey so, u go fit watch am live online for fifatv. Go here http://fifa.com/beachsoccerworldcup/livecoverage/index.html for live matches and highlights too. Just so you know, naija defeated UAE to top their group and will be playing Uruguay tomorrow in the quarter-finals. Peace! |
fesse:Chei! See wetin immaturity dey cause. Fesse, no be u say u love Jesus, yet "men are stupid" to you heh! Na wa o! Remember say one bad apple no dey spoil the whole bunch o -- just something to think about before you begin open your mouth generalize. Why is it that men get women pregnant, disappear from the surface of the earth when the child needs them the most only to resurface when the kids are grown up teenagers or older trying to claim them and trying to manufacture a relationship out of thin air? Personally my sister, I go suggest you let am see hin papa because you don do your best raise your pickin. And as others have said, it might come back and haunt you later in the future if you say no. Kudos to you for raising him and I'm certain he would make you proud in the near future. Let him decide if he wants to have any relationship with the dad; though no-one knows his motives at this time so be very cautious at the same time. He might be sincere and he might not but as long as you're looking out for your son's best interest you'll be fine. Best of luck 2 u. Peace! |
magneto:Na lie, na me be the sinato o. ![]() |
mekoyo4bestHaba afa, e ren le now. Dem never reach final now, dem still dey for qualifying stage. Though our boys na dem they lead for their group; dem go play UAE tomorrow. |

Ol' boy, e be like say you wan follow person wife sleep, make you be careful o; u know say life no get duplicate! Ma don wo o (don't try it)> In as much as I don't believe in that junk, I still won't recommend trying it but then again u can't tell until you try it. So, I say go ahead and give it your best shot . make u come back come yarn us. Peace! |
I don't know the full details of the incident but like someone said, let's not hastily jump into conclusions here. Indeed our government is corrupt and could give a rat's behind if one of its citizens is slowing dying. If what some posters are saying is true that he was terminally ill from cancer, then the chances of surviving is very slim. Should the government be blamed for that? I don't think so. Perhaps, we can blame the government for showing lack of compassion for the man when he needed it most. Like I stated, I do not know the facts of this incident but just like another poster stated, let's celebrate the man's achievement and hopefully, he would be greatly honored in Naija. May his soul rest in peace! |

Peace!
