saxywale: feels good to be on here after serving my ban. congrats to all guys and babes that have collected their trv. i wish you all success in your studies in the maple leaf country.

I and a friend just discovered a way of getting very good rates for one way fliers(not one way tickets) for klm/airfrance/lufthansa so i thought i should share as it may save some extra dollars. I haven't tried it on middle eastern countries airline.

When you are about to book your tickets online, select return/ multiple destination. We used a family of two i.e husband and wife, We used Calgary & Edmonton for destination airport from Lagos, then chose Toronto to London for the return journey.

The result was:

$2500 for the return/multiple destination option. i.e lagos-calgary-toronto-london. if for one person.it's $1250.

$3800 for return trip to lagos. i.e lagos-calgary-calgary lagos.

$4650 for one way lagos-calgary.

Note: This is for two adult. I hope it helps someone.
Yes true. In addition to this, you can buy a return ticket for example- Lagos - Toronto then Toronto -Lagos. And call the airline to leave the return date open for you throughout the year- to select any date you wish to return to Nig later. In conclusion a return ticket is cheaper than a one way ticket.

If possible, please can you send me the link to where you tracked yours from? Thanks

apple08: Ah bros, no give up just like that now, if u did Meds at CP on Dec 5th, then ur meds should have been sent to the embassy. email them and quote your IMEI stating that you want to know the status of your medicals. and am sure they will surely tell u if it has been sent to the embassy or not. Their email is info@childrenspractice.com. Skools dey open Jan 2nd doesnt mean classes are starting same day, most of dem are having the first few days for orientation and then start lectures by Jan 6th or 13th, so you can still meet up. I will advice u beta start packing...
Thanks a lot. I'll do that today.

I did my medicals December 5th at Children's practice. My resumption date is meant to be January 2nd. I clearly cannot even meet up with the date anymore. Still hopeful sha if I hear the good news this week, I'll confirm from the school if I can still join this session. If not then it's till May.

Hello Everyone, I'm new to this thread and seem to really like this group. I submitted my application to the Canadian embassy on the 19th Aug and was sent an email for medicals through my agent.

My agent went to their office to collect my passport not sure if it's d vfs office or embassy and said she was told verbally that I should provide proof of additional funds but this wasn't documented or included in the mail sent by the embassy.

Please has anyone ever experienced this? If yes, what does this mean? Thanks for your response.
