I applied on 6th June, did biometric on 8th.
No word from cic as of today.

I am beginning to wish I heed to Tnuola words on paper route.

Don't be surprised if your medicals drop soon. June applicants are the ones reigning.

Eeyah, but there's nothing unfair about it, a lot of people have gotten a lot of info by doing just that.

I respectfully disagree. You can't say one is faster than the other. You guys should have in mind that judging based on peeps you know here is wrong. Registered users here might just be a minority out of all the applicants from Nigeria cos most of my friends that applies knows nothing about this thread. Just to buttress my point, a friend got his medical request mail today and he applied on the 8th of June. Online route of course!

Most of what we do on here is based on what we have here, but based on the list up there, paper is faster so far.

Maybe, maybe not. My friend submitted paper route since May 28th, and no reply yet. While someone who submitted online a day after that has been called for medicals. I think it depends on the VO handling the application

I applied for my Trv hoping for the medicals...buh am scared cos I am an SC nt an SS I m scred I might get refused cos of my status, moreover cos I don't ve a medical history with any hospital, cos my mother is a nurse nd treats me nd I don't Fall sick more than 1ce in a year nd this is due to malaria. Secondly, the name on my birth certificate is different from those reflecting on my other certificate cos I decied to make my nme a compound name(I added my father's name infront of my surname)when I wanted to enter secondary school...whereas the name on the birth certficte is just my surname. You should stop getting worried and hope for the best, cuz uve already submited and there's nothing anyone can do abt it.
Be rest assured that your sc/ss status won't in any way hinder your medical request from pulling through.

What you should have done abt the name was to get an affidavit done, but I doubt if it will also hinder ur medical request from dropping.
If your faith stand well well, believe it will end in praise, forget ur worries.

The only Niagara university I've read of is in the US. The one in canada is Niagara College and you don't need to evaluate your transcripts before sending to them.

Different people have different objectives as such, it is difficult to advise anyone. The only thing I tell people who has such plan is that you resume in winter semester and have your tuition for that semester almost covered. You may choose to work 2 jobs during spring and summer holiday to raise tuition for Fall and a part of Winter of the following year and the cycle continues the following year. Above all, it isn't an easy task however, it is possible.

Yes, I did say I won't advice any one to go without having their complete tuition for the duration of their studies, and I will kEep advicing anyone I know.
Its an advice, so its not compulsory for anyone to heed to it.
Its something I keep saying based on what I've read on this thread, and experience of the few people I know in canada nw, it is possible but very very stressful and hard.
Everyone is entitiled to their opinion and I'll just keep mute about this particular topic.

But please I plead with the people advicing and encouraging pple to go without tuition, to add that's its very hard and tasking, so they don't think its easy.
The only problem I'm having hereis , encouraging pple to do something without letting them know how hard and challenging it is, its not fair to make pple think its easy to get a job and all.
When there are other bills to pay and rules to abide by.

....My bros...sorry to say, I don't agree with the bolded statements...I want you to spit the way around it just like you said and lets see if there isn't any form of illegality involved....If you're advising peeps to come without having to pay tuition and don't wana share "how" then something is definitely shady about it.....Canada is not Nigeria where you break laws anyhow and think the government will listen to "reasonable explanation"...Muritala Airport is not far bro ....Its best to tell peeps the harsh reality...Its very possible to pay Tuition fee in Canada but definitely not the way you stated(Can't even see none)....Since students are only allowed to work 20hr/week, how much will you save after deducting bills wey fit make man go crazy...you realize you're left with nothing.....the way around this is to work cash Job which doesn't require SIN...with cash direct job, you can definitely work more hours cuz there is no way government would know since SIN isn't involve....with this, money can be saved but again working more hours would deter you from concentrating with studies which in-turn affects school grades plus its ILLEGAL!!(A friend almost got caught doing this)....The only legal way to do this is to work Full-time during scheduled break(You can work your a$$ off and make up to $10000 within 4 months break)....This is what my classmates did....Majority all zoomed to Toronto to work their a$$ off so as to make enough money for tuition fee and other expenses....Its best to have at least two semesters tuition fee sorted out from Naija...after that, you can pay subsequent tuition fees yourself...THIS IS THE REALITY.....Canada is not heaven where everything is sure banker like baba ijebu....Jengbetiele, if you no want make people swear for you when dem land Canada to clearly see things themselves...You better tell them the Harsh truth biko ......
