northbird: There are low fares on Comfort too. Most times, you don't observe.. Cross examine the distance with your fares. Do you get 550-600/ km on the so called Comfort..? I don't pick any kinda comfort rides. And positioning too is vital. With 5 quality rides on comfort, you're good for the day and your car rests instead of needless running about Lagos on ridiculous prices. My car is Camry 11 V4, I no fit dey compare myself with Suzuki or Corolla boys, and it makes more sense when you own the vehicle yourself.this is my first trip today, from Canal Estate(Ago/Cele) to Access bank HQ, VI. I would do some short trips here in VI to Lekki 1 then Ikoyi then straight to Airport. I go rest again and come out for those going home. May God help us jare

I'm always happy when I see order accepted by another driver. Two times in a row I don off app or switch to strictly comfort. I don't know how you guys do it o but i am strictly on comfort. I don't even change it at all. If I need a destination trip I use Indrive, with 5 very nice trips especially long ones, you're good for the day |

Shimmaa: How sure are you with this information cox I know dangote delivers fuel directly to all MRS filling station across the nation and for the Mobil, I doubt if any Mobil both the one outside and inside can sell fake oil cox they get supplied directly from HQ and I don't think Mobil sell franchise without regulating their operations. Yes that is meant to be the framework but that is not the case with many MRS stations, the aspect of Dangote supplying them is not yet fully implemented, I was at one MRS station on the mainland and the tanker that came to deposit fuel for them didn't have any insignia of Dangote group. It is not even in the quality this time as most of them do get directly from. Dangote( save for those who still mix it) it is about the compromise on the meter system |

capetownboyz: Hello I’m hitting the road soon as a Uber driver as a means to offset one’s current bill and economic recession..I will be driving from Ikeja .. pls if you got any advice for me to aid my confidence in this job pls do share ..have read through the group chats for a while now and I’m quite encouraged by you guys resilience in this business ..I pray the road will be good with me cause normally I get tired easily driving on Lagos road and I’m not too conversant with the Lagos road except heading to few high brow area but I guess google map will be my partner for a while until I get used to this roads ..I hope this job is exciting and most especially encouraging financially, I guess I will find out by myself.. Always central lock your car first thing first, if confused of where to follow, you can ask passersby, don't ever park or pick people on the road especially in unfamiliar places. Obey traffic rules, one way is a serious traffic offense in Lagos now. Just go at your own pace, no rush, weekend would be more better for you sha. Good luck! |

PeaceMaker24: All fakes, thanks though Get it from reputable Mobil filling stations on major highways/roads like the one at Ahmadu Bello Way, Awolowo Way, the one on Ozumba Mbadiwe and Ikeja. Those Mobil stations inside close, streets and off roads mostly sell fake oil/palm oil...Just like for MRS, all are selling for the price of 739, but not all have complete meters, the ones with complete meters are only but a few like the one on Ahmadu Bello Way is very complete, one on that Festac Access road, the one on the road to Ojota to mention but a few. This observation is as a result of experience and experiments. |

Dabadwela: Very nonsense comment
If I even see good job wey dey pay 1m monthly for Naija with good severance and pension package, I go leave Uber work without thinking twice
If I come be billionaire, wetin go stop me from traveling on vacation to other countries?
Na real nonsense talk As in ehn, if not for our bad government, Naija is one of the coolest places to be. Asides from Eastern Europe which is cold and very racist, the rest of Europe is a mess especially UK with their terrible PM and that Mayor of London. The crimes are increasing daily at an alarming rate due to influx of satanic jihadist sympathisers from Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan, even US was on the brink of collapse if not for the timely emergence of Trump, their borders was porous and major cities were not safe, abeg make we rest, if you get a winning strategy in Nigeria that make you a billionaire, what are you looking for outside if not for vacation, even healthcare as a billionaire or a relatively rich person, you can afford first class medical services. Abeg abeg! |

Biodun1929: Yeah, I was banned/restricted. I can't even remember what I did. But when I installed the app on Saturday, I saw that I had been unbanned. And then I went to pick up my first rider, only to run into a crazy issue. The woman said the car on the app isnt the one I came with. And then I remembered that I had switched cars on Bolt when I bought a new car, but Bolt didnt accept my new car, and the old car (that I already sold was the one still showing on the app).
Anyway, I will go and do Bolt inspection for the car and any other things that might be having them restrict me. I need that Bolt Surge money. Ok I understand, go today and do inspection, surge 2 days to Christmas would be crazy. Cheers! |

Biodun1929: Good day all...let me share my 24 hour experiment with you guys.
I needed 150k for something today, and I decided to drive for 24 hours straight. I dont advise anyone to do this, but I was just in a serious situation I needed to get out of and that was my motivation for it.
I didn't go 24 hours, as I started feeling sleepy around the 22nd hour. I started my day at 12pm, looking for the MRS station with the cheapest fuel in my area I found one that was selling for 790, and I bought 28k (35 litres) fuel to start with. I bought fuel again at night time (15k fuel), and then I bought 12k fuel at 5 am at NNPC Ikoyi (Alfred Rewane road).
I drove from 12:30pm yesterday (Sunday, 21st), to 10:30am today (Monday, 22nd.) I had a 2 hour break, which i planned to use for sleep around 10pm. But the reason I needed the 150k for kept me restless. So, technically I was behind the steering for 20 hours. I used a total of 55k fuel, and I made 171k from the 2 apps i use (Indrive and Uber). 171-55 = 116k. By the way, the 12 trip quest is completed on uber gave me a 22k boost in earnings.
I could write a novel on the last 24 hours...the drama with some passengers, the crazy stories I heard some girls share, the crazy car and bike show at CMS, the opulence I saw at these girl's house I went to. Imagine driving into a simple looking house in Ikoyi and seeing 3 Rolls Royce Phantoms and a Range Rover in their garage. People get money for this naija o. Wow!. Is there any reason why you're not on Bolt? |

Shimmaa: Trick for this season?
You don't need any trick This is bolt and I did about 40k on indrive with 25k. Started work around 1pm, closed 11pm
Total net 180k
Fuel 25k I told them 200k net was possible this surge season especially on a day like Sunday they nearly chew me up. I wished I worked today to show evidence but there's no need, let everyone go at their own pace but make sure to make the most of the season and most importantly save. |

Jeoman: Una don start o, 200k net. Please calm down before you mislead people here I have nothing to prove to you, that's my own reality. You're also free to share yours. For Bolt there's a 25k bonus after 11 rides. I work from 6am to 10pm with intermittent break. Na everybody sabi wetin him dey pursue and wetin dey motivate/pursue am. Not everyone's reality but that's mine and that's okay too |

Azertise: Abeg, What's the trick boss? I still dey struggle with 60k In this season and time? Are you sure? What platform do you use? I feel Indrive only makes sense once you understand how to use it and when there's minimal traffic especially on days like this. And most importantly my car is on 'Comfort' category which is slightly more pricey than Bolt or Basic categories. I am just ruing what happened to my car today, it was 200k net to be achieved today and I would have dropped evidence. My question is what car do you use to work? And what platform? |

Pearl1910: U Sabi cap o. And ur name na Kumuyi Oga it is realistic.my vehicle is on Comfort category and when there's surge especially on Bolt, you can carry 45k from Airport to Freedom way. Let's just keep working and stop doubting or questioning anyone's reality. Yesterday alone, I netted 90k despite starting around 12pm and closing by 10pm. I did mix of online and offline trips. And very importantly guys, buy good fuel that doesn't burn fast and the best out there is now even the cheapest at 739per litre at MRS VI. If you want to enjoy the job, close eye full your tank. If you normally spend 70k to fill your tank before, now with the price reduction, you would only spend about 52k. Imagine a whopping difference of 18k. Be smart. |

Glithronix: I don't believe that woman. 100k net daily for where? On Sunday wey I merged Uber and indrive to work, my net was 108k after commission and fuel money, and I quickly retire home like around 9pm. The work wey I do on that Sunday, I no fit repeat am daily, upon say we dey surge period oh. Except the said man is using Lagride, cos na that one go give person x2 of whatever bolt/Uber is giving. But with bolt/Uber/indrive, nobody fit repeat 100k net daily consistently. But it is well sha.
Much respect, sir. It is very possible, I won't say more than that! |
