It would also be a bit difficult if you're selecting like ABC/ABJ, Double Digits.
It can cause the delay also

Location is Lagos, Yaba. You can come for inspection. Car is with me. Car is mine. All papers are complete cos I renewed in January and it's Abuja plate, so you can register like a new car here in South West as Abuja and Lagos don't use same platform for paper renewal and registration

I just got abuja plate and documents delivered to me today. That is over 4 months wait. The delay was too much and I have already registered for ogun state plate which was delivered to me under 1 week.

My experience with new registration for Abuja plate number is not funny.
8 weeks is gone, and I have not seen any green light.
The agent keep telling me they will load this week , they will load next week.
I have done several plate registrations in lagos under 2 to 4 weeks.
Is this how Abuja delays or the agent is not doing the right thing .

This is why I asked if it’s possible for me to use my friend to register and start parking while my own DL is still In processing. This is is just telling me stories upon stories, I’ve paid for around 2 months and I haven’t even go to capturing 🤦🏻 he called this morning now and still spitting what I didn’t want to hear ( driving school certificate not ready, if using back doors I might not be able to renew when expired) 👈🏼 among other stories.

What I need from Nairalanders now is 👇🏼

What is the process to register my friend on the App while I drive the car ? ( please I request a response from whom have answers )

Wouldn’t it give me issues while driving ? ( I know how to settle myself out of any police/via/FRSC mess )

I just need to know if it’s possible or not so I can accept the fate that with or without my DL I can work.

Please am open to the truths it won’t hurt me

No point buying a new car to hussle part time.
Alot of people use camry and it's profitable. U can use ur camry on trial and see the ratio of fuel cost to gross you make. Before u know ur next steps.

You using your Camry to work will still be within the barbiturates fuel to gross range
Forget about people talking about lack of thermostat and bad car condition

Again, using that Camry to me is not a good idea being that it is too BIG for this peanut fares ehailing is offering, you'd consume more fuel thereby reducing your fuel to net ratio unlike someone who is using a 1.0 to 1.8l vehicle.

The Suzuki would have been the best tool cos of it's engine capacity but that car cost is very expensive, you can ask around

My advice would be if you intend to do this hustle for long time, you sell off your Camry and you'd still have enough change after looking for a very good small car maybe honda jazz, city, Kia Rio, Hyundai accent or buy better still buy the manual version of these not more than 3.5m so you can recoupe your capital faster

Or if you're ok with barbiturates fuel to gross margin then you can use your Camry

Just remember the indices that if a 1.0l engine user , pearl and barbiturate work and earn the same gross monthly, if pearl makes 1.6m monthly he will have a profit of 800k after all deductions, barbiturate will have just 600k monthly and the 1.0l engine user will have between 900 to 1m monthly

Your car is 2 over 10 in fuel efficiency
And u still have mouth to talk. U should know u are not a model or standard by no means in this hussle.
U should know the same amount u gross, people are making X3 of it with less money spent on fuel.
Before u start work, ur colleagues have made 40-50k and after u have closed, they still will make 40-50k before they close.
I gross minimum X4 of my fuel money and I use 30k fuel on a full days work. So d least I make is 120k on 30k fuel daily.

Now this is d conservative model.
U make 80k gross on 20k fuel
Your take home is 40k
Working 5days a week is 400k gross and 200k take home.
In a month that's 1.6m gross and 800k profit. For me this is d minimum.
Anyone not doing this minimum should never speak on income when serious ehailing drivers are talking. U can give ur own experience and opinion but never doubt what I say on income.
