And what's your purpose for posting this?

Do you make this every time or you just rushed to post yesterday's earnings because it surged?

This is becoming childish and a threat to other people who don't do this job on a full time basis.

You guys should stop already. I hope you post the days you spend hours at Ladipo and your mechanic workshop spending thousands of naira to fix your car.

For your information, this work is still a hard work that comes with body pains and high risk. There are softer works that pay better with more dignity.
There's actually nothing wrong with him posting that

Sadly I don't use Bolt for now, but how long did the trip last for? Coz me I hate traffic so badly.

This is when to call out LASTMA.
The silly thing that causes the traffic is so sad. A small truck fell at the exit road to enter Marwa since 8am this morning, they couldn't find a way to move it till closing hour when traffic built up.

Their own is to be looking for who enter one way.

Avoid going to lekki Right now.

If you're inside, except you don't want to return to lekki, don't take a trip to VI or Anywhere, as for me, I got a 17k from jakande to Ecobank Vi, that's enough for today

See you in Lekki tomorrow
Jakande gate in Isolo or where? The trip was offline I guess?

So I guess the game-plan here is that after the next ban, which would be for a full year, that I would go crawling back to them to please let me back and I will take all the rides that I get?

Even the ones for N1,500 with a 6km pickup?

The one where I don’t want to go to the destination?

Have you noticed how they never buy their own cars and employ their own drivers?

So after all our maintenance, after the huge 30% commission and taxes, you are still going to try to beat drivers into submission so they do unprofitable and dangerous rides?

Have you also noticed, drivers are never paid for riders cancelling after drivers have driven several kms to the rider?
This and more made me abandon them. Very useless organization

Bolt has started their slavery program again.

7 days ban for refusing rides.

Next up is a 365 days ban, like it happened 2 years ago.

Do you know how wicked of a company you have to be to ban a driver for a whole year? Not for any major malfeasance, but for refusing to take a ride?

I know I drive with Bolt, but I’ve always maintained, they are a deeply evil and wicked company, set to enslave the African driver.
I don't use Bolt anymore. Stuck to Indrive for now

Nice one. Do you know the amount of fuel you bought within this week?
So this is an example for today, my car tank was in yellow, at the lowest. So I bought 20k fuel to work today and achieved this, and it is not yet in yellow.
So this 20k ideally should gross 60k for me. I think using a sound car helps. I was imagining me using a 1.3 litre engine, I would do better than using this 2.4litre vehicle. Hoping to add another car by December 🙏

Impressive. I also like InDrive because I can choose where I want to go. Uber takes me to Jakande and Isheri Osun ...omo, after changing hub and ball joint multiple times, I had to take a break on Uber for a while. With InDrive, I usually go to surulere, Ikeja, Magodo...I know these places very well, and they don't have bad roads.

By the way, don't your passengers complain that your car doesn't have AC?
Only one lady who was mad about it funnily in a cool cozy morning, so at the end of the trip, she deducted 1k and I just let it be.

The others just complain midly and most don't even care at all considering the recent cold we've had recently.but I work early in the morning or in the evening.

🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

How do you want someone to keep records of fuel he buys for a whole month. You want him to write it down somewhere every time he buys fuel?
I can actually, it makes sense to do so. Receive receipts or just take notes in your phone. The only thing is that this is not my personal job, I do my personal runs on sites too, so how do we really ascertain?
BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by tobby98: 12:40pm On Sep 01, 2025
Biodun1929:
By the way, do you keep record of the fuel you buy in your car? Do you know how much fuel you bought for the month that earned you this 760k?
Well i would start that this month to get a better idea of what I net after expenses like fuel and servicing. But i know if I buy a fuel of 25k, I gross between 75k to 90k( I have done the experiments couple of times. Mind you i drive a 2.4l engine. If i drive Corolla or Civic, I would probably average more. Another thing I figured especially on Indrive, most clientele or riders as you call it pay me more than what is on the app( most times I didn't have to ask but i also jokingly ask for them to bless my weekend. 7 out of 10( coz of my neat car, my good music, i dress and smell nice too and possibly my sense of humor despite no AC o, but I am fixing the AC this week. So the prospects gets higher once my AC is up and running. But yeah I hope to update later this month with a proper record keeping. Cheers

So guys this was my first ever dashboard. I don't know why it is saying July instead of August sha but yes I started last month as an occasional driver. I am currently not working my job till October so I decided to use my other vehicle which i nearly sold or gave out for hire purchase. This job is not an easy one but there's money in it, it all boils down to personal discipline when the income comes, your knowledge of the road, ability to converse, a little bit of patience and positioning.

My takes:
-Get your documents intact so at the sight of officials you don't get apprehensive
-Avoid working at nights at places not familiar with( I did a couple of night work but mostly on the island as i know it like the back of my palm) night work last week Thursday was so sweet for me as i made 100k plus gross with a 25k fuel on a 2.4l engine. It was based on the quality of orders tho.
-Work smart; I don't like any of the app specially but I work with strictly Indrive due to the freedom to choose where you prefer to go unlike Bolt that wants to force you to go just anywhere. Work smart in this regard, you can use both app simultaneously to get best results. I had an order from Indrive to deliver an office chair to Shomolu then a request came in from Bolt of a lady going to Fola Agoro, then i did both orders simultaneously and both places was just about 7mins apart
-Be security conscious especially at nights; don't ever let a rider tell you to follow a pathway that avoids police, why are they running? If you do so, they might get to harm you
- Save, i started doing a 20k daily savings just in case of any emergency
- Don't try to be clever by half with your vehicle, maintain it well and don't fly potholes anyhow, avoid Ikotun/Jakande Gate axis, such terrible places or pass Canoe if you want to.
- Get started, don't wait until the perfect time, work with what you have. I use a 2.4l but I try my best to maximize profits by not overspeeding, no heavy breaking. And then again, my AC parked up before i started the hustle but then i start working from 6am when weather is cool and stop by 11am and commence by 6pm again to stop by 10pm. If I had to wait for my AC to be done, probably won't have started.

Happy new month guys

Bolt is updating driver profile with their NIN.
Click on update vehicle, click on your car, it will ask you to update all your documents, click on your driver profile (just for nothing), then click on your driver documents again, this time, it will show only NIN empty and required, then upload your NIN slip.
I have a similar issue but mine is as a result of driver's profile or so, how do i sort this out?

It's time to quit my 200k monthly Job.
I have a 2005 Toyota matrix., is it good for the business?
How do I get started my bosses?
What are the registration?
It depends actually, if your job has much better career prospects, you can work during weekends only, I do Bolt mostly when I need extra money, it's not something I envision to do for long, more like a side gig that pays...you can make that money comfortably working only Friday- Sunday every week, it gives you more flexibility, and make sure you understand positioning very well. Goodluck

Bros, good evening, I want to give my second car to my younger brother to start e-hailing, vehicle documents are all complete and valid but his driver's license is not yet out, he was just given something like a form where it was stamped by FRSC, not even done capturing for temporary license due to no network, would indrive accept the stamped document? And the car is Abuja registered plate.
