How a loan app wiped out my account and left me broke

See me see trouble o! one loan app in this country, (I will not mention their name yet) has wiped my entire life savings and they have left me dead broke. Around early February this year my friend told me about a business that i can invest in and get good profit by the end of the year. Usual na, I got excited about the project and I had to make sure I hustle the money anyway, anyhow; that was how I remember that I saw one advert on facebook, so I went to the Facebook page and I copied the WhatsApp number from the page. Naso it start o! they asked me to register, write my mothers name, my office even collect my BVN and card details join!! Haba! I should have known.

I took the loan even with the high interest because I didn't have a choice and guy man gats make sweet cash. The 1st instalment i paid, 2nd instalment i delayed for 2 days...honestly no be my fault i even tried reaching out to them for small time more but no one answered. That's how the 3rd instalment came these loan app cleared all my account o! They removed all the money in my account claiming they couldn't be patient anymore! I've called & called but they didn't answer me! Next thing their representatives dey insult me!

Guys, I want to know what to do o! Is this how all loan apps do? they will shame you and suck your account dry? Abeg people talk o! what can I do?

Which decent loan apps can one use in the future?

There is now no denying that Sylvester was the victim of bullying.

But can we tie his death to bullying? No, for now.

I understand that Nigerians take this route of jumping into hasty conclusions because they have lost faith in the police, but hasty conclusions don't help either.

Today, it is the Kashamu family, tomorrow it may be any family being blindly accused.

I feel there could be truth in what the family is saying. It is hard for me to believe that the school will release the boy in such a horrible condition to his family rather than taking him to the hospital first . Even a government school will do better talk more of a school as Doyen college. It is still possible that something went wrong after he has been released to the family . There is need for thorough investigation in this issue and let's not allow sentiments to cover the fact.

The family revealed some information hitherto hidden from us.

Some information revealed through the release:

1. Sylvester was indeed a victim of bullying, but Dowen stepped in, and even issued a suspension. Sylvester's parents were privy to this event. The police should take them up on it.

2. Sylvester was limping after injuring himself during a football match. He got an exit to leave school with his parents. All this time, Sylvester looked OK safe for the limping. But then, he suffered reactions from medication. Once again, the police should ask his parents.

Maybe, there was really no killer.

Perhaps, when Sylvester's parents took him home, they were negligent with his care, and when everything went out of hand, they looked for whom to blame. Since Sylvester had been a victim of bullying in the past, something to which, other parents must be privy, it was easy to blame Dowen, and the bullying Sylvester had received there.

While we are calling for justice for the boy, I think the appropriate authority need to question the parents as well. With all the money they have, one will expect that a cry of headache by any child from that family will get appropriate attention but unfortunately Sylvester didn't get the needed attention from his family before his death. Why was he not in intensive care in an hospital, which type of parents keep a child in such pain at home? I am seriously not happy with the family after watching the video and discovered he was at home and not hospital. I was more angry after I watch the father's interview with CNN where he mentioned that he had contacted some doctors but before he could come down from Asaba Sylvester was gone. It is a very careless decision to keep a boy in that state for the next minutes before getting doctor's attention talk more of keeping him for 4-6hours( from Asaba to Lagos)
