The Baruba people of Kwara State occupying the Baruteen Local Government in the State with headquarter in Kosubosu are one of the most hospitable and peace loving people. We have some of them also on Benin Republic. They speak the Bantunu Language and their major towns and Cities include Kosubosu, Gwanara, Ilesa-Baruba, Okuta, Yashikira, Niki and so on. They are mostly agrarian in occupation and predominantly Muslims. great people... peaceful n powerful(jazz tinz)  .. one of my best friend is baruba... picked up a few of der language from him...cheers |
