It's not only staph that shows those sypmtoms, so you can never be so sure.

There is definitely an infection and you've experienced the acute stage with the symptoms of sore throat and rashes.

These signs obviously do seem like that of HIV but you should not conclude until you run an STD screening. Be sure you test for all STDs
