@ezeagu,

The contraceptive called Nigeria exactly. For some, it is suffering and smiling for others it is the pretence that all is well .

The most funny thing is that those that pretends that all is well know in their hearts and souls that all is not and will never be until that contraption is totally dismantled.

The pretending group of people who make up a sizeable amount  choose to close their eyes and look the other way round are the errand boys and girls working for the criminal cabals. These group always wait for crumbs to fall from the CANNIBALS.

The other group of people [suffering and smiling] are simply naive and ignorant. They really and honestly do not know that all is not well with the contraceptive called Nigeria. And they make up the greater majority in that contraption. I will call them the masses.

I rest my case, he who have ears let him hear

@ezeagu,

It is indeed a shame to know that some of the different groups of people that was forced into that contraption pretend not to see that the very ''contraceptive'' into which they were boxed does not and will never allow for the free flow of growth and development to permeate into that contraption called Nigeria. Haba after 48 years, we are still discussing food, shelter and clothing issues.

He who have ears let  him hear.

For more than 48 years Nigerians have been waiting in vain to see that contraption called Nigeria attain its promised height but have been painfully and psychologically disappointed. Man, after 48 years since the ''white man'' left us to manage our affairs.

But it is a pity and shame that after all this years, we are still struggling to provide the basic of necessities for our people.

Some groups of people wants to leave some groups say no. We must all remain in that cesspit even though when that contraption called Nigeria have been unable to provide the essentials of life and security for all these groups of people after 48 YEARS. After 48 years i say it again.

48 years is a long time for a country to be able to provide at least the primary needs of existence and if after this years it is not able to do so, then we should be wise enough to know that such a contraption will never be able to do so in the next 48 years. It is a true definition of a failed contraption.

I always ask myself this question: after the 2nd world war ended, how long did it take the countries involved especially Germany to rebuild. This is a country that was levelled to the ground and i mean to pieces. I do not think i have to state the rest. Your guess is as good as mine.

Those that wants a certain group of people to continue to remain in a cesspit contraption but fail woefully to come up with a  development strategy to move the contraption out of the cesspit are the biggest HYPOCRITES AND SYCOPHANTS ever to roam the face of the planet.

@Kobojunkie

I agree with you 100 percent.

I will continue to remain pessimistic about Nigeria until all those criminals who are still walking freely with their ill gotten wealth are brought to justice. My opinion.
What type of interaction and opinion does GJ think of getting through Facebook that the masses have not made known to the various criminal president since the so called independence of that contraption called Nigeria.

If GJ is a Nigerian, born and grew up in Nigeria, he does not have to search far to see and hear the cries of the people and what the Nigerian people badly wants. The suffering, voices and weeping of the Nigerian people should be enough of a facebook.

The question is : Do Nigerians need jobs, do we need electricity, water, house, food, good roads, schools, hospitals etc. The answer is yes and if yes, what are the plans of the current administration in achieving these basics and primary essentials of life.
If he does not have any plans instead of embarking on Obama style campaign  he should honestly resign and never think of contesting any election in Nigeria for the rest of his life.

The truth is that for those trying in vain to compare the dissemination of information between the USA and the contraption called Nigerian should know that the former have already succeeded in providing the essentials of life for its citizens while the latter have not been able to do so.

Mr GJ go and do your homework, just go to work, go to work for God sake. This is no time to start these old and pretentious attitude to hear opinions from Nigerians. Have you not heard enough? You know what the people need or don't you. If you do not please kindly resign honourably, but if you do then go to work.

Our can Ibo group win Yoruba when numbers and manpower not on your side?
You all know, we have more than 150 million yorubas in both North and South Americas.
I will ask those yorubas in Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia not to fight you.
We have more than 30 million yorubas just in Mid-east.
Let just my Yoruba people in common Iraq fight you. They are known as black Iraqis, they numbered more than 3 millions.
And why do you think that there are more than 150 million Yoruba's in both North and South Americas, over 30 million in Mid -east ?  I tell you the reason. The yYorubas have no mind of their own and hence no conscience.

@ honeric01 and jobman. More grease to your elbows. That is it.

Nairalanders, nigerians home and  abroad forget the government. Just forget about this people. Let us talk about ourselves and what we can do to make things better even if the long term effects of our honest, radical fellowership does not bring the immediate and desired results but for our children, children children.

Our fathers did nothing and so the children of today must face the consequences . Now it is our turn.
Thesame old story since independence. We trusted our leaders, our fathers trusted them and so adopted the aimless siddon and look approach hoping that through prayes and God things will definitely get better. From better to worse, the children of today are still sitting and lookin´.

I have a question for all of us : What should we the followers do to change things?
I have an idea, revolution all the way. Who is ready?
Anyone one politician that have tasted power since independence and still lives today must die because they all took part in killing the hopes, aspirations and soverignty of their own people.

What else can yo say about the crux of the matter. Absolutely nothing. Where is your logical reasoning as regards the matter at hand. I asked you a simple question in my previous post that was directed personally to you and i am still waiting for your answer. I ask you again,  how long did your brotherhood rule and destroyed Nigeria?

Go again and read my previous post and that very post was as a result of this

Ten of your type never scare me. What do you and your Sh*t brotherhood expect from the nigerian civilians? You expect what? Ok , i should not run my mouths because of one man´s mistake. Ok you say it is a mistake.  I see your reasoning is very shallow, but i will not blame a misguided teenager when the act of youthful exuberance comes into play.

Listen carefully mr megadeath, I know your lot, the  prospective would- be- brothers in crime and oppression.
Your lot are chiken livered who hide under the military and beat up helpless civilians
Your lots steal arms and ammunition and sell  them to robbers.
Your lots are the type that set up  illegal checkpoint and stripe innocent civilians of their hand earned money. You even go to the extent of killing and burning their cars.
Your lots are the type that go to the extent of renting out their uniforms to criminals for how much? I can go on and on.
Your lots join the military not because of the love you have for your country but as a measure of last resort to continue where your sh*t ass Oga stopped.  You want to be like oga. Have animals as escorts. The list is endless.

I do not know what you learn in the NDA.   You are not the first neither will you be the last.  There have been few intelligent and smart soldiers that wanted the best for the Nigerian military, but realised long time ago that the problem with the nigerian military is not the military itself but the laws and regulation of the politics of nigerian in relation to the military.
The military has a responsibility upon itself vis a vis their responsibility as regards the nation called nigeria. The latter responsibility is the greatest and is missing. That is the reason the NDA dole out chunks of  sick metal heads who believe that their sole responsibility is within their brothers in crime. So, when Oga says slap that bloody civilian, your lots jump out like cave men and exhibit the heigth of irresponsibility. You are all idiots.

Now you want to flex the little muscles you have just for the fact that you are in the NDA:
ok, i will tell you where to meet me.
Come to mile two where the area boys used to hang. Come not in uniform, just like a civilian and let us flex our biceps. you are an idiot.

Mr megadeath. Listen very very carefully.
Your days are numbered. You headless women lost your respect and reputation as military men long time ago.
Personally for me ,the Nigeria civilians have taken upon the responsibility of defending themselves from all manners of atrocities and crime, including the harassment and victimization from the Armed Forces who are supposed to protect.

Listen again, never you talk about brotherhood because the military is not supposed to be a brotherhood but an organisation that should provide security for the nation.

Mr man listen, you never ask a man for respect , you earn respect and it is automatic. Your action will speak for you.

And if the Nigerian civilians are disrespecting you and your so called brotherhood, then be wise enough to know that you and your brotherhood have irresponsibly failed in your duties to earn that respect.

Mr Man listen very very carefully you can come here and threaten us the civilians because you know very well that the Nigerian civilian are coward (no disrespect to the civilians). Always afraid. `i no want die, i get one house, i no get child , i get one child, i no build house´´( Respect Fella).

But remember mr man that your time is coming. Your guns, whips and every other instruments that you use to terrorize civilians will not threaten the civilians anymore. And when that day comes, there will be no place for you and your corrupt brotherhood to hide. You and your brotherhood will be found and castrated.

The military was in power. For how long have you and your brotherhood ruled or destroyed Nigeria, Mr megadeath answer that question.
And you come here and open your mouth and talk about the civilians disrespecting you. Shut the F*  k up.

What you do in Liberia and Dafur does not interest me. What you do at home is what interest me. You do well outside, the world will hail you, you come home and become idiots, the civilians will disrespect you. As simple as ABC. Earn your respect and please shut the F* K up.

And i hope that you and your brotherhood now knows how to diffuse a bomb. If you do not know, it will make your fall faster when the time comes. Then i guess you never learned anything from the real military men that came to show you and your brotherhood what to be military  during the Lagos Bomb Blast.

Mr megadeath, well your name, i think that is the name your dumb ass brotherhood gave you. You always see death. Everything is death and mega. From that name of yours, i have a perfect idea why you joined your babaric brotherhood and what you think about the Nigerian civilians 24 7, 365.

Listen to me, you are very lucky to be in a country where the populace lick your ass and can go down on their knees while you and your brotherhood use their backs as dinning tables.

You do not deserve to be here.

The same old story. I do not think that since Nigeria claimed to be independent as a country, the Nigerian military have ever understood what their primary responsibility is.

Since i was born, i always hear and see how military men harrass and intimidate civilians in a country they are supposed to defend and pity enough the situation have not changed.

Enquires upon enquires, panel upon panel, commisson upon commision and then case closed. Life continues, the normal suffering and smiling.

The next time, in your very eyes the same appalling intimidation is melted out upon a civilian and life goes on. The media, the press makes the headline describing the abomination and the readers read in awe, with unbelievable eyes.

We sure need to question and find out why a person reacts the way they do.  I have no doubt that one of the main reasons why there are suicide bombers today is because of the perception of injustice that they feel.  However, why are they choosing to go violent instead of advocating a peaceful form of resistance which is usually more effective in solving and overcoming injustice.
In the first place injustice is violent and not peaceful, bloody, confrotational and a call for war.

Infrastructural Development should never be an indices to access how well a President or Governor has done in a country.

FOOD, CLOTHING and SHELTER are essentials. As long as the majority of Nigerians are still hungry, clothless and homeless, no President or Governor past and present have done anything different that deserves commendation but condemnation.
Foreign AffairsRe: Israel vs Hezbollah/Lebanon by Tochi3(m): 8:25pm On Aug 21, 2006
We should be careful of the languages that we use.

Every word in English, french, Arabic and as the case may be are developed by the original owners of this languages. They know the real meaning of this words more than any one else and can decide to use it anyhow it suits them.

I do not know if our ancestors have words like terrorist and other words used to describe terrorism, we should not bother ourself to define what we are not part of.

Since we Africans are not part of this languages, let the owners of this words deal with it accordingly.
PoliticsRe: How Does The World See Africa by Tochi3(m): 12:27am On Aug 21, 2006
@ Brown-Eyes,

You have made a very important observation by not looking only at the surface.

The people of Africa are running away from there land of abundance to go to a land not richly blessed by nature in search of "better life" and those who are remaining dies from hunger, disease and other death designed policies of the "world".

Then, there begins a grandscale invasion of unimaginable limits of the "world" into the continent to disposess the people of Africa the richest in natural resources which is the land.

He who controls the land controls the richest.

And the most painful aspect of it is that they use African presidents - well i call them morons and criminals to achieve their devilish plots.

The more "investments" flows to the continent, the more the people loose their land and hence their natural resources - the more the people become foodless, clothless, and homeless.

It is as a result of how these criminal slowpoke presidents go against the interests of their own people that the "world" says that the black man´s IQ is very low, and hence that the black man is an inferior being.

cry cry cry

@Abike2k6
"Controversial as this may sound, Africa could possibly benefit from having a neutral outsider put it in order".
In a war of survival of the fittest, no one is neutral.
Actions and reactions are based upon short or long term interests or benefits.

African interests has been neglected always because we assume that the so called "neutral outsider" has no interest.

Like i have always said, two interests can never be acheived especially in a war of survival.

Knowlegde of our black history which predates history itself - will go a long way to provide solutions to Africa´s long standing problems.
We do not need an outsider to be of help for thesame problem they created and are still creating in the whole continent of Africa.

There is still an unforseen war of inferior - superior, servant - master relationship between Africa and the rest of the "world".

A snake will always give birth to  a snake.
PoliticsRe: President Of Nigeria In 2007: Who? <Poll> by Tochi3(m): 6:54pm On Aug 16, 2006
Believers have started again to assume that the solution to Nigeria´s problem is based on track record or whatever name it may be called.

The problem of Nigeria is not who occupies the seat of power - no matter what track record he or she may possess but has always been with the masses.

We easily forget that within and around the seat and corridors of power there is a virus which immediately roars its ugly head to corrupt the so called, experience, young, intelligent, upright and tested contenstants when they eventually take the mantle of leadership.

As long as we the masses continue to fold our hands, complain, complain and complain and do not fight this virus not by prayers and fasting or through elections, then we should forget about a better live for us and our children born and unborn.

According to Fela, may his soul rest in peace "we no wan die, i get big house, i no get house, i get one child , i no get child" and so on. If we continue to live with this mentality, what we desire will never come to pass.

The masses in the developed world today are living better today because they confronted and fought the virus.

This virus is the system, the usual system of not listening to the voices and desires of the people and in the absence of confrontation, it becomes a code of conduct for the ruling government.

That is the reason OBJ could raise fuel prices as he deems fit because he knows very very well that the masses will only complain with the intial "gra gra" and after a day or two, we will return to the normal status quo of "suffering and smiling".

For example, we all know what happened in France some couple of months ago when the government introduced a law “First Job Contract”

http://www.wsws.org/articles/2006/mar2006/fran-m29.shtml

Millions of students and workers demonstrated against it till the end until the French government had no other option but to return to the status quo.

This is just one example and there are many more of how the masses must remain dogged and rugged to fight the system no matter the victimization and oppression employed by the government.

2007, is around the corner - it does not matter anymore who will occupy the
seat. What matters is for the masses to know that they are masters and the occupier is the servant. The masses will take control of power come 2007 because the virus is also dogged but not rugged.
PoliticsRe: How Does The World See Africa by Tochi3(m): 12:10pm On Aug 15, 2006
Since we have an idea of how the "world" sees us which to me is extremely irrelevant, do we have an idea of how we see ourselves?

This is the question like someone already raised in this thread.
Majority of Africans prefers to be called English, French and other European names. I ask how many Europeans bears African names ?

When we assume to speak languages developed by the original users of this languages and often knowingly or unknowingly pretend to know this languages more than the original owners of this languages not to mention among African countries that speak similar foreign languages, what should we expect from the "world" on how they see us.

When in our schools we teach our children foreign histories and other cultures without knowing what our history is.

We wait for investment from the "world" to come and tell us what to do and how to improve our lives, what should we expect from thesame "world" that copied, stole and destroyed our heritage and used it  for their own benefits and advancement.

Our presidents, well i call them criminals, fathers, mothers have been blind for a long time now but we the present generation must find a way to change things now.

Brothers and sisters our generation yet unborn will never forgive us if we continue to live in this false premise of existence.

Our forefathers were living in abundance in their land of origin before the "world" came to them. I know that it is only those who are searching for better life and civilization that will travel thousands of miles across the sea.
The "world" found it because our forefathers received the "world", which turned out to be their greatest undoing, copied, stole and destroyed the foundation of what they are having today.

We should expect all kinds of negativities from the "world" but we must know who we are in order to change things.
I advice every African any where they may be to read "THE DESTRUCTION OF BLACK CIVILIZATION" by Chancellor Williams because the "world" can not  tell us who we are as regards our black history.

There are two sides of a coin. You know or you don´t know . To believe does not tell if you know or you don´t know. A believer will remain blind and will never understand real actions of men.
Some people have eyes but they are as blind as a bat. Some have brains but they will never understand, simply because they are believers.
