Good but this should not be a reason for him to be travelling round the world when Nigeria need him most now. Tycyborg: google pick from what people posted and I wonder why people keep locking on buhari just cos jona didn't won the election why can't we all wait and see what he is going to do cos afterall we all knew how the country was before handlin over to buhari. so my question is what has Jonathan done when he was elected during his first 2 weeks to improve Nigeria? like subsidy that Jonathan imposes by force on people? or the state of emergency he decleared in lagos to stop the protest? I was there and I knew what soldiers did to protesters that day. and yet Jonathan came out and told Nigerians he is a good sample of democracy. Nigerians wise up support and don't destroy a leader and look beyond tribal issues. |

i just do a google search on Daura President the term giving to president buhari in less than two weeks as president of Nigeria. i found over 1600 search results i think the name is gradually sticking on the president. i try to find out why they call him Daura President from the search on google i find the foollowing reasons below.
1, two weeks as president no minister he has not make any major appointment he promise Nigerians to hit the ground running
2, he was travelling round the world when saraki and atiku took over national assembly positions without his consent.
3, the first Nigeria president to rule from defense house giving excuses of renovating aso rock
4, he embarrassed Nigerians by calling Germany west Germany
5, he said he has not make any appointments because jonathan did not give him handover notes in time
if you have more reason you can add or if you think we should give time you can also give reasons too.
God bless Nigeria

chiefinalowo: Whoever wants Buhari/Yemi to fail will not be remembered for good things throughout the first four years of this administration Whoever says Buhari/Yemi fail, failure will follow that person for the next four years. An ethnic group that wants Buhari/Yemi to fail just because they are Hausa/Yoruba will never experience peace throughout the first four years in Jesus name.
The Christian Holy book says; I will curse whoever curse you. That means curse will follow anyone from any ethnic group that wants Buhari/Yemi to fail.whileall other ethnic groups are saying lifting up, they will be singing casting down. Any ethnic group that wants Buahri/Yemi to fail will have all her children scattered all over the world in Jesus name.
Enough is enough, Nigerians have suffered enough. We all need to support them and be optimistic that things will be better.
Emi ari temi se ninu Ijoba Buhari/Yemi yii. The most useless comment on nairaland |

Agberos and touts at lagos island are not comfortable with words ambode use against the oba, the touts in my area are saying ambode have insult their king by saying Oba Akiolu's alleged outbursts and veiled threats against the igbos with great consternation, I condemn the high-handedness of the Oba in the STRONGEST terms They are saying ambode have taking it too far against the oba, while some of them are saying without the ibos there will be no business in lagos personally i think the oba is just a reflection of an average apc supporter they are so power drunk they have not swear buhari into office they want to impeach fayose and kill all the ibos in Lagos we are watching them |

Igbos have been warned... If they insist on voting against Yoruba candidate (Ambode), they should be ready to face the consequence or move back to their villages. It is that simple. |

in summary you in support of a reckless statement from an oba? SirShymexx: Lol. These Igbo folks are innately boastful, troublesome, lack civility, and most of them don't understand what co-existence entails.
Hopefully, before the end of my life-span on nairaland - I'll see Igbos in their enclave get along and live peacefully, with Anambra folks not feeling superior to other Igbos; Abia not sacking civil servants from Imo and Enugu; Ebonyi folks not being looked down upon; Ngwa folks allowing other Igbo folks live peacefully in their lands etc..
If they can sort those problems out - I bet you they will stop having problems with other ethnic groups in Nigeria. |

good point but i hope the general will start fighting corruption from tinubu, amechi, kwankwaso, atiku, obasanjo etc kolaaderin: Yes when corruption is tamed, 50% of our crisis will be history. he surely knows what he was saying....... have u ever asked urself what Nigeria as a country losses everyday on corruption. let me give u just a brief, a project that cost $1m elsewhere will cost $20m or more in Nigeria and the project will still end up note done to standard in some cases or even abandoned in most cases, how far can we sustain this corruption will kill us if we dont kill it now. |
