I wooed a lady last 2 years but she said she will give me feedback after six months that will should just be friend, we were friends for those months after 6 months, I asked her again and she said she will still get back to me. Ever since then, I no dey disturb myself anymore. After some months if I don’t post on WhatsApp for like months, she will now call me to ask why am I not posting since. And I will say am busy. That scenario happened coincidentally but I facilitate it again by not posting for like 2 months on WhatsApp status to see if she would call, you won’t believe at around 1 month, she called me again to ask why am I not posting , and I said am busy. But why trailing me?

Crime / Re: Scammers Using Sponsored Ads On Facebook And Instagram To Scam Nigerians by Tohsynetita1: 7:29pm On Aug 21
kingthreat:
Few weeks ago, while browsing on facebook, I saw a sponsored advert of a farm selling packaged spiced goat meat for 10k. On the post I saw alot of likes and comments of people asking how they can get it. I checked the page selling it and saw that there were different products offered including bushmeat, full chicken, guinea fowl, etc. I messaged the number on whatsapp and I was responded to. The person showed me pictures. I even called the person for confirmation and he did pick. He then sent the account number, I paid and he confirmed. I dropped

my address as well. After 2 hours of no word, I messaged and he didn't respond on whatsapp. On a closer look on his facebook page, all I could see was anger reactions. Someone posted calling him a scammer but that post got deleted within minutes. That was when I knew I was defrauded.

After this happened, I reported the page to Facebook. Can you believe Facebook sent me a report the next day saying that the page did not break any guidelines and they did not take down the page?

From this it is obvious that Scammers are using the facebook platform to scam Nigerians. And facebook is indirectly encouraging it by allowing their ads and doing nothing about negative reports. For now I will advice everyone avoids sponsored ads from newly created facebook pages.

It’s with their policy, anybody can be lied against, their is nothing to show that he scammed you. So, that’s what they will reply. What if you were lying against him? How will Facebook know. What I do is any money I don’t need and won’t be sad if wasted is what I trade with online.

All you're saying doesn't matter
All I notice is that guys are pained that she's in a relationship because they already plan to take advantage of her
If you want to help, just help. Even married couples at a point in time will seek for help from people. Doesn't mean coz they are married they can't seek for help from other people
A 23 yr old lady, what do u expect? To be single?
Even if she has a fiance, can he provide everything for her? She's even trying not to depend on him.
You guys are now complaining saying her bf should provide for her.
I'm sure if she doesn't state that, unserious folks could av bombard her DM
Majority of 23 year old are through or going through NYSC. So, u mean they shouldn't seek for employment assistance from the public as long they are into a relationship with a man
Even if they'll be having sex, that's none of anyone business. She's mature to do whatever she want, but seeking for employment assistance means she's responsible and doesn't want to depend on anyone to put food on her table
That’s her problem but if she continue presenting her case like this, she might not see helper. It’s not everyone that want to have sex with her. Presenting such case with partners shows she’s not serious to some people. She didn’t need to add partner at all. Even if a woman want to help her and heard such, they might not help her anymore. You have partner that you cannot leave to go and hustle probably for a while? That shows you might not be serious. Even sometimes, married people leave their zone to hustle.

It's not the responsibility to cater for her...

If they aren't married.

You don't know if the guy isn't settled yet.

They is nothing absolutely wrong in starting from a humble beginning. If both of them decide to start a future and grow together. Things will get better.

You people will give this mentality then when girls start leashing on guys they are dating to provide all their needs you guys will turn around to blame them. Now a girl wants to be useful to herself and industrious or hardworking and you telling her to go depend or leach on her boyfriend. Even if the guy is Dangote she should not work? Times have changed o. And the economy isn't smiling.

It's like many people don't know what they even want.

23 years is not too young to date or have a partner. I think it's even a good time.

Nothing wrong in what the lady posted. I thought it was even good she included that because Alot of guys may want to take advantage and she already played it clearly she has a partner.

It worked because those that would demand or try to take advantage already showed their intentions and are backing out.

Who will help would not consider if she is in a relationship or not.

What do you need a person's relationship status for to provide her a job if your intentions are genuine?
I know but that statement she put might show something like “ responsibility” for having such. We view things differently, some people might think na sex them they do for that relationship and that’s what’s making her unserious with her life.

It’s like a man that has a phone worth of 2 million and begging for 50k school fees, some people might think , if he’s serious he should go and sell that phone. But if he didn’t mention phone at all, it’s.

What they commenters are thinking is why will you not be able to cater for someone you dey date. If you can’t, their should not be more connections to the extent that she won’t be able to move to other places to hustle.

There is this church that came to preach to me November last year I went to the church and liked it,their pastor understands spiritual teachings very well and i really enjoy listening to his preachings, but here is the issue ,the members hold their pastor in so much esteem, like they see him as a their God representative on earth he does no wrong and they want me to be like them, secondly the church has so much rules and protocols like its a military barrack, they have a dress code you must wear suite or dress corporate, you must partake in soul winning

, out of 7 days a week we have 4 services if you miss one it becomes like you have broken one of Gods commandment they leaders will call you 100 times, you must not speak anything else than English, broken english is not allowed.
As a Nigerian I am getting fed up with this American or western styled church it seems out of culture to me.
This Sunday I didn't go to church because a brother told me to dress corporate I got angry because I don't like wearing suit unless i got a job interview or something similar I just wanted to look casual,I mean what kind of church selects clothes for members not like I am dressing indecently I can wear T-shirt ,jeans and palms even suits are expensive these days,I feel if the pressure gets too much I might quit the church.

It looks like “saint community church “

What am trying to tell you is to buy from e-commerce shop by yourself and sell it to Nigeria. You can use that to help him. You can start from Little Money like 20k, you can also send him goods here to sell in African malls over there. What’s hard in that?

Good day house..please a cousin of mine who is about to finish his master program in the UK in less than 2 months is looking for a place to borrow money to pay up his school fees and will start paying for it as soon as he starts his full time job..he is working presently and the company he works for said they will retain him as a full time worker once he finishes because he already has a security badge which is what he is working with..

Please is there a place he can borrow money there in the UK or here in Nigeria because I can stand for him here in Nigeria..thanks for your responses.

Most of us in overseas, we have access to people in Nigeria, yet we aren’t using the opportunity to do some mini importation and exportation that can make you millions in no time. These are the aspects that most people living there can make life better for some people they love in Nigeria instead of calling them for money always or make life easier for them as well.

Everybody knows the problem with goods movement especially within border mãjorly is “volume “ and “mass”. No matter how cheap a good is, if you buy it and move it in Nigeria, their will no be reasonable gain like that because the weight a kg could be like 11k naira. So, if you buy a good of 50kg, the price will be like around 500k naira. But since have been into the field have been researching on what one could buy from alibaba and the rest that could sell crazily here. The truth is it’s very hard to see a good that has the following:
1) less mass, like 10g
2)very cheap in E-commerce market like 1688,pindudodo
3) Very lucrative in Nigeria, I mean something people buy often
4)Daily needs and easily affordable even for the poor.
5) something that is almost compulsory where they needed it.

I did my research and got some goods like “socks” ,
A pair of socks could be around “26g” and a pair could go for like 0.03 usd, let say you buy 100 pairs, ańd you sell each for 500 naira in Nigeria.
0.03 times 100 is , 3 usd, is around 5k, transportation of 100 pairs at 26g by 100 is around 2.6kg, if you bring through plane, it’s around 20k for transportation fare, then you gain 30k, within a week,
Now, their are some goods that are very less in mass but very expensive here.
For example, a set of earring of 12 pairs could be like 1.5 per set, now if you buy 10 sets, that’s 120 pairs, if you sell one for #500 naira, most earring in Nigeria is around such price. Don’t forget you could see a earring as less in mass as 5g, if you buy them making 120 pairs, 5g times 120 is around 600g , a plane freight is around 10k per kg, your good isn’t up to a kg, so, you will pay around 5k for it and sell each pairs at 500 naira, you can even sell higher, you gain like 55k in naira.

Now, using ship is more cheap than that but it takes time, if you buy like 5000 pairs of socks at 0.03 per one, you spend around 150usd for all, that’s around 230k here in Nigeria, if you use cbm, 0.3 cbm in ship is around 80k in naira, so, you spend like 300k for everything, let’s say you spend 350k, come here and sell socks to people, don’t forget it’s rare for someone not to have socks, schools of both primary and secondary plenty that buys socks, teachers wear it, workers wear it, sell each for like 500 naira, 500 naira times 5000 pairs, you will gain like 2million.

There are some earring you could get as cheap as 26 usd which is 300 pieces but weighs 2kg throughout, you can buy such, 26usd is around 40k in naira, transportation fare of 2kg using plane is around 20k in naira, come down and sell each earring for 500 or 1k, depending where you live, you can gain 300k in a month or week. #500 socks or earring is something a common man can buy and something most people need especially students and nysc Corp members.

Mini mini importation and exportation are something some people are using to make their life better.
If you buy 10k pair of socks, and you run social media ads, you will get buyers in no time. I think it’s right time people look use that opportunity to make good money, 10k pair of socks might not be enough for a single Lagos students let alone whole Nigeria.
Try and tell you bro to look to it, you don’t need to start with big money but very cheap money like 10k in naira could gain you 100k depending on how you can sell.

How much is he owing?
If he has been doing this for long, he would have paid his debt.

Are you hoping for someone to graduate and 3 years after graduation don't have anything doing?
One of the key functions of education is teach the receipt productivity, someone who can't be productive in any form is not worth educating, the loan makes alot of sense.
Tuition fees were hiked, subsidies pulled out, this loan makes alot of sense.
many of us see fact but we tend to avoid it, in lautech, around Ajimobi tenure, there were “no fees, no exam” but after a time, most students were allowed, till now, many have graduated and some are still owning like 3 sessions. When school calculated everything, it was around 2bn in naira. School thought they will come and pay when going for nysc but most didn’t come for their result because they didn’t have the money to pay. Tell me, someone that own like 300k and earning 20k in teaching job. Why would most of them pay for result when they knew know tangible job awaits them.
So, the same thing will likely happen here, if they accumulate debt of 700k through out the studies, And they secure job of 50k, do you think they would pay. Many might not even do white collar job, if they are into business, the money might be gone.

So how their currency is now a counterfeit to Nigeria 500 currency.

I'm sure that's only difference you see, because of what I said on ur mention.

Check everything detail, you will see several differences.
Sir, cover the amount “500” on it and ask Nigeria what currency it looks like. That’s total infringement, it’s pure editing. If you want to design your own currency, it should be a different design and not editing someone else’s design. This is just like copying a company like “Pepsi” and making everything there they same but changing they name to “Popsi” , it will be very hard for regular customers to know that it is a different brand. Or you change “NOKIA” to “NCKIA” . And you made sure the rest stuff like font, color, etc were same thing. Why can’t you choose something not in line with Pepsi when you know your brand is also soft drink. Why can’t you use something different from NOKIA when you know your brand is phone. You can’t name your shop or office where you sell something entirely different from drink your own name which is “popsi”. That’s infringement. If you have something to design, don’t edit someone else brand and make it confuse its customers in other for you to sell.

Then i think that is an abysmall and dumb thinking of those medical females. they are the ones whom i think cannot major up to the standard of an Engineering, my own sister is graduate nurse, and she vowed in her life never to marry any medical doctor for any reason at all. reason been they are very broke; she was able to think like that because she was very well informed that engineers earn way more than most of them. How do you even consider Lecturing and medical doctor a high-class profession in Nigeria. you guys must be really joking. how much do they even
earn per month, like 150K. my entry level pay i earned more than double that amount when i started as an engineer more than 15 years ago. In my current level now as an experience engineer i do not think anyone in my profession with that much level of experience can collect anything less than N3M monthly.

Most Engineering student in Nigeria doesn’t really have good job. Probably because no tangible company here or no skill per say, just normal B. Tech. If you go to secondary schools, most of their, science teacher studied engineering courses, And you barely see a secondary school that pays up to 100k in Nigeria. But why those ladies in medical
profession rate themselves is because is very rare for them to finish without a job placement. Worst of it , around 150 to 200k payment monthly. But the commonest job engineering students can get is teaching which is less than 50k salary for most schools. That’s the reality of Nigeria. Even some engineering students dey do pos, bet9ja

The only part I agree with is some female medics eventually don't end up with anyone, because it is true.
The problem is also in civil service and it's common in Nigeria too.

That aside, all other things you stated are the men's issue because they already decided in their mind that a lady in a particular field is bigger than them. So it's basically a self esteem issue.

I am surprised Nigerians consider 150k big money tho. No wonder this guy staying with us got married the moment he started earning 150.

It’s not that they have decided in their mind as male but it’s what the ladies have in their mind. Many guys that aren’t in their field still approach them but most of them avoid or nag them if they see that their profession isn’t a high profile one in society. They
will be looking for those in medical field to do the needful but medical guys will avoid because of:
1) they were taught every male anatomy, they know your penis more than you the owner. So, if you will have chance of not having a good sex life, they might know from your stature and diet. I remember when a young female doctor told me she want to check my penis in the hospital room. I quickly told her that I need a male doctor to do that. Because I don’t know what could happen. The young male doctor was just rubbing my scrotum somehow somehow later to examine some things.

2) Most of them know that average guy in Nigeria doesn’t really have money unless is into either high profile profession, cyber crime etc. Do a survey, on how many Nigerians gain 100k as income after removing expenses from income.

Then, 150k as salary in Nigeria is a very good salary o, even if you live in Lagos. Most workers earn less than 50k.
