I'm about to a best man to one of my friend wedding this Sunday!

We are not really best of friends. But, since he came to my town and we really get very close and he's kinda like a mutual friend ..

He's getting married on Sunday ! I took 3 days off from my work to attend this marriage I haven't meet his wife before ! I got here on friday and I met the wife I was actually expecting her to be happy to meet her husband best man..

Her attitude was kinda weird ! I try talk to her and interact with the wife to be she always look at her husband face before she reply me or don't even talk to me at all .. like totally ignored me and one other guy with em..

I met the wives family and my guy was too gentle and calm in front of the family like totally different from the guy we use to hang out together .. I was not comfortable cus the wife father was trying to talk to me a lot and the wife sister too they are friendly , but. seems like my friend is not comfortable with it and sometimes ask me not to talk with em too much .. I respectfully accepted not to talk

We went dinner with wife and family today ! And same thing happen at the dinner my friend and his wife are not talking much at the table and the dad is always trying to talk with me more my friend always try to caution what I should say or shouldn't say on the table like he's hiding something which basically the conversation is just basic like work , family, normal things generally not even about my friend ..

I just felt I wasted my time and money to go all the way here and be caution for what to say or even the wife not giving attention to me not like I care about it much , she even turned off the TV at their family house when my friend told her to go and use the PC in other room cus we want to relax before we lodge in our hotel.. she turn off the tv while we still watching and walk away! I felt really disrespected and embarrassed...

But, I felt inside of me that the woman is just doing what my friend told her to do. Bcus anytime I talk or ask her question she always look at him first before she answer or he will be the one to answer ! I know he did before with a guy about her gf shouldn't talk to any of his friend or get jealous a lot . But, I wonder why I should be best man to a person like that! If I had met the wife earlier maybe I wouldn't even come...

Please should I just tell him that I don't feel comfortable being his best man on Sunday or just do it and ignore everything.

I had a similar case recently , my gf of 5 years moved to Australia to continue her education there. I plan to spend Xmas and new year with her there . I couldn't get visa to visit her in Australia for Xmas . She called me that she want to go on 7 days trip out of Sidney cuz I won't be able to come spend Xmas with her and she don't want to feel lonely!

To me, I said 7 days is too much.. but, she insisted that she will go but not spend the 7 days. When she came back from her trip..I called her and ask her to be honest with me if she fuc which I fly will happen. She started crying and told me, she was having fun with her camping members and fuc one of the guys.. she was honest with it!! I felt really sad.

We had plan to meet on 6th of this month and again travel together to New York and she can go back from there to Aus for her school.

Before she moved to AUstralia I specifically told her that let's have open relationship or still be together Bcus I don't like distance relationship.


She said no we should continue with being BF &a GF . I got her expensive promise ring that she is officially my fiancé .


Apart from her cheating before which I forgive her bcuz understanding why she cheated at the time was due to the fact that her parent always tell her that I am Nigerian and we are not good people she should look for a white or different guys. She stayed with me faithful for 5 years waiting for too long , she met someone else who is American her parent was happy for her that she could get rid of me! But, it didn't last .. we got back together base on that I have cheated in the past too! She told me if she can forgive me why can't I forgive her.

That's when she got admition to a university in AU, we had plan to get married after her school. Her parent gave up and accepted that she should just do what she want.. but, cheated again after we got back stronger and more serious.. I felt this second time was on purpose .

I don't know what to do! I know women cheat , men cheat too. But, I love her and I know she love me too from all the sacrifices, pain , from family too .

My mind forgive her but, I felt I will keep forgiving her due to my own past and what she has done to improve my life for this past year, she really tried a lot for me when I was down she is the only person who always rescue me ! I sometimes feel she was my angel.

She is not here, but I can list many good things she has done . I just can't trust her again and she is around now I decide not to see her and travel to New York alone .

I can't trust her again, but I still love her. Sometimes in life shit happens. As a man I felt leaving a good girl or loyal one cus she cheated base on logic should be forgiven or just let her good
