you are a sick guy...and I will avoid you like crazy from now. I see that another fool has just liked your silly and ignorant comments.

For any reasonable person who will read this:

Nnamdi Azikiwe was the senate President on the date of independence. He was senate president from January 1960 to October 1960 and governor general from November 1960

Bro I'm done with your stupidity. Have a useless day
ignorance is your watchword, I understand.

Teaching you to learn is just like flogging a dead horse to walk.
You could have at least present a journal to back it up!
Have no day!

I didnt understand why the Yorubas were really pissed when some folks started claiming Lagos, calling it no man's land until yesterday when the same people started claiming my state, and to add insult to injury, MY LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA.

Someone even went as far as saying my Chairman is Igbo.

It is very disrespectful and annoying honestly.

Imagine the outrage from them when a thread was created the other time about Igbo Muslims. They rained hell on that thread saying NOT A SINGLE IGBO MUSLIM EXISTS.

Yet they are coveting other people's lands.

Very annoying.
bro, now you understand cheesy

There was i time I made the resolution that I would not engage anyone on issues like this here again. But my mind wouldn’t just stand firm on the resolution.

Imagine someone just waking up one day from nowhere to claim what belongs to you?
Imagine someone trying to rewrite your history wrongly?

You can now understand why we can’t siddon dey look when they try to lay claim to Lagos as a “no man’s land?
Imagine a thread yesterday where the OP claimed there is Igala tribe in Anambra (which is actually true), see the way they violently rebutted the claim.

I love them. But the problem is that, “what they do sell, they don’t want people to sell to them”.

this Mumu is still not humble o...wow. who was senate President on October 1st 1960?
Stop exhibiting your Ignorance here.

Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe was the Senate President pre-Independence. He was waiting for confirmation by the parliament to resume his responsibility as the Governor General.
It took over a month before he could resume as the Governor General because Sir Tafawa Balewa Plead Sir James Robertson to hold on for a while as the Governor General until the whole Independence ceremony had finally come to an end which was on the 10th of November, I960.

So what is the justification for your ignorance on the claim?

Tolexander:
The UK handed over to
1 Tafawa Balewa (Prime Minister)
2 Nnamdi Azikiwe (Governor General)
3 Jaja Wachukwu (Speaker of the house)

Culture › Re: The Aboriginal Fulani People Of Ihiagwa Town Of Imo State by Tolexander: 12:45am On Oct 02, 2019
MiddleDimension:
Ihiagwa is a small town in Imo state, south east Nigeria not too far from the state capital, Owerri. other towns such as Obinnze and Eziobodo are also towns located in its environs.

Ihiagwa is also a place where the aboriginal fulani people call home. their presence there can be traced to 5000 BC from the archeological findings in that area. the economy of the people include farming; which also include crop production, as well as animal husbandry. their produce is mainly consumed by the state and also neighbouring states particularly Abia state where the hides and skins are often taken to the shoe factories in Aba.

despite the immense contribution of the Ihiagwa fulani to the state, they do not have a representative at the Imo state House of Assembly in Owerri. perhaps this is because of the relatively small size of the people and their ancestoral land compared to the igbo majority in the state.

in democracies, indeed, majority carries the vote while minorities can only have their say. but it is not out of place if the Imo state government, through the Traditional Rulers council of the state, find a way to atleast recognise the plight of these people by giving them a first class chieftancy title Emir of Ihiagwa Emirate, Sarkin Ihiagwa...

below is a picture of an Ihiagwa Fulani lady taking milk to palm wine tappers in the farm
Interesting!

What is the essence of reaction when the deed is what is the bone of contention.

I don't even understand what you mean by the reaction, or what you're tryna drive at.

I'm not trying to condemn or praise anyone here, I'm just tryna call you out for trying to justify the incident with an aftermath reaction.
Like you closed your eyes while quoting me, or you just wanted to exercise your fingers on the keypad and chose the wrong post to quote?
Rat could invade or enter any where. It depends on what film we made from the event, which can be comic, amusing, silly or overlooked. It depends on the people involved.

Even if the USA government spend 3month out of the White House due of Rat invasion and the Nigeria government behaves like the USA, [s]you will still find a way to change the meaning to still project Naija in a bad light.[/s]

Politics › Re: Nigeria Is The Only Country Where Independence Is Older Than Its Constitution by Tolexander: 12:22am On Oct 02, 2019
NSNA:
[s]By Adeyinka Grandson.

Nigeria's the only country in the world where its independence is older than its constitution.

Nigeria's Independence is 59 years old.
Nigeria's Constitution is 20 years old.

In every society, the Constitution is always first written and agreed upon before the country is founded.

Nigeria's Constitution was written and agreed upon by the Yoruba, Ibo and Hausa/Fulani in 1959. And thereafter in 1960, the independence was accomplished.

Normally, the Nigeria's Constitution should have been 60 years old today while Nigeria's independence is 59 years old. But the criminally minded Ibo suspended the Nigeria's constitution in 1966 whilst the barbarian Fulani single handily wrote the current Nigeria's constitution in 1999.

There is nothing to celebrate in Nigeria unless and until we return back to the Nigeria's constitution of 1959 as amended in 1963 or break up the country[/s].
This guy doesn’t have sense.

I will advise him to quit this route of getting fame to join MC Oluomo, Kunle Poly and the rest for “garage” money.

In countries where freedom was thoroughly fought for, majority of them had not the space, time and resources to draft the constitution before attaining the independence.
Only countries that negotiated their freedom would that the resources, time and space to do that.

I don't care about Aso Rock or White House. I'm just pointing out the average mentality of we Africans, and you just exhibited that trait by your earlier comment.

The same thing happened in Nigeria, most of us condemned it but the same thing happened in USA and you're tryna justify the difference.

Buroda mi, elegbon agba. Don't you think something is wrong here?
You are just trying to be blind here.

There is a place of action
There is a place of reaction

Reaction is an aftermath of action or an effect to an action.

My comment earlier which you reacted to was the reaction of the two holders of the different offices to that same action (rat issue)

How did the White House reacted?
How did Aso rock reacted?

Senate Presidents of Nigeria
Senate President Term Party
Nnamdi Azikiwe 1960 NCNC
Dennis Osadebay 1960-1963 NCNC
Nwafor Orizu 1963–1966
you people will just type anything on google, swallow every chunk seen and vomiting them at will.

Can you provide what the senate formation of the country was as at independence for the country to have a senate president which Nnamdi Azikiwe was, like you claimed?
Any credible and published reference to that?

Nigerian Federal election held in December 1959, bringing the alliance of NPC and NCNC to form a government. They had a deal among themselves, ie NCNC and NPC, Sir Tafawa Balewa, Sir Ahmadu Bello and Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe being the chief actors and all were able to reach a deal.
We all know the system, which was parliamentary.
Tafawa Balewa became the Prime Minister, while Nnamdi Azikiwe would be the Governor General after Sir James Robertson had left finally for Britain (Robertson eventually relinquished in November) which he did in November, about a month after the independence.
So tell us the role Azikiwe held as the Senate President then.
