olatunji21: #40b jst for renovation...baba God no forget me ooo HE revealed that the FEC hasthird phase only, 40.2billion naira. Only God knows the number of phases and the amount it will cost the nation. They've forgotten to include hospital and mental rehab cos they need it. |
If you know what Obasanjo, Tambuwal and Sanusi know, you will like them! The problem about this kind of probe is that, they fizzle with time with no feasible outcome. |
seangy4konji: did he diededno bro, he didn't dieded! |
See metamorphosis! Seeing the childhood picture and the recent picture made me to imagine how a green mango gradually becomes a ripe one turning yellow. |
Why just playing politics with everything! The banks and houses affected by the road project never objected or sue the state government for the demolitions. Why is it that a party secretariat demolition will be a the reason to stop the good work that is meant to develope the state? What this signifies is that the state chapter of PDP is only concerned with the party. |
So swift to hear and react to any criticism but slow to deliver the dividends of democracy! Instead of the President to tackle the issue in the letter, he is deciding on tackling the tissue that sent the letter. The content is what we need you to react to, not the container! |

ChinoElects: I think its time for Obj to retire and join his fellow Chimpanzee in the ota farm..a chimpazee left his farm to decide the fate of your father in 1976 to 1979. He came back in 1999 and left in 2007 for the same purpose with you in addition this time. Bro, your existence as human is not worthy of emulation to lower animals. |

The guy gat no brain and very stupid. He shouldn't have argued with her, let alone going suicide. If it was me, all i would have done is to tell her to continue to shop till any length she wanted while i go to urinate in the toilet. Honestly before going to the toilet would be the last time she will see me for that year. Ole buruku! If shopping is that easy, her father wouldn't have minded taking her for one everyday instead of leaning on me. |
Why including Patrick Yakowa that is dead in the meeting that is meant to discuss the future of their forum! Hmmmm, that strong NGF has been successfully factionalized. If ASUU isn't very carefull, this may be their fate. |
pigin: "We have no doubt that the Federal Government has indeeddeposited the N200billion intervention fund in our accounts with CBN as demanded by us."We have confirmed; we have found out that the funds are in our accounts."However, we insist that we should be officially informed about the deposited fund. The needful must be done" - Dr. Caro Ogbinaka, Chairman, ASUU, University of Lagos. - Hope For Nigeria.Yes o, the needful must be done. The same needful that unlocked the room of #255million for 2 bullet proof BMWs! |
Elliozy: Tolexander, i heard Yorubas are opinionated humans...Correcting elders in the Yoruba culture is regarded as disrespectfulness- By a friend of mine; for he's a Yoruban..ya, they are opinionnated like you said. Not as if it is seen as a disrespectfulness to correct an elders. There is an adage in yoruba, pele lako, pele labo(sorry can be polite and impolite), depending on the attitude shown when one was saying the sorry. If the correction is made in a polite and very respectful manner, they will definitely concede. Yoruba elders very value respect. |
It only takes understanding from that woman. I would explain to the woman what the financial situation i was in the commercial bus and promised to make up when i see her. But the problem with the woman is that she won't understand and if she is a good woman, what she's supposed to do is to pay for my transport fare. Moral of the op story, if you know you aren't welcomed comfortably in a place, move away from the place asap to avoid complicating things for yourself. i can't imagine myself still engaged to a lady whose mum had already harboured a wrong notion of stinginess about me before marrying her. |
Nollywood don do one cartoon before, the title is Tom and Jerry, featuring aki and pawpaw and Sam Loko Efe |
Actually in yoruba land(i can't talk of other places cos of my naivity of their cultures), i believe the parents and elders think they have more knowledge from their experiences than the children and the youngs. Hence the yoruba adage 'ti omode ba laso bi agba, ko le lakisa bi agba'(if a kid has as much cloths like an elder, he can never have as much worn and deserted cloths like an elder), forgetting that 'omode gbon, agba gbo lafi dale ife(ife land was created from the wisdom of both old and young). The elders so believe that they have more wisdom which makes them to be infallible which may not be absolutely right cos no one is an island of knowledge and one can't have the whole world experience to claim that is the source of one's wisdom and knowledge. I do argue with my parents now cos am very much above what they can beat. I couldn't try it when i was a teenager and infant cos mum would tell me she got to this world before me. |
Titiluvly: Sweet..Slim is beautiful!titi, what kind of slim lady o? |
It is an act of God. If they want to know the cause, let them go and as God. |
Is this a fried meat or a baked cake with design? Nonsense! |
^^^Could be the Ambassador didn't reckon on having these kind of 'issues' to contend with. He must have thought being an Ambassador was just to flex and jolificate 24/7......the scales should have fallen from his eyes by now!
you are right. Many of these ambassadors are naive of their responsibilities, very understandable they are appointed base on come-and-chop politics. But what baffles me is that there are diplomats attached to these embassies that should be professionally sound to know and teach the ambassadors what to do. |
Even if he was allowed to talk, would it change anything? |
I thought maybe a script wasn't prepared for him! |
