If you want to lodge in a Hotel in any part of Nigeria, make sure you call at least 2 people in the presence of the receptionist and mention the name of the hotel & address and make sure you pay through your ATM directly to the hotel acc.

In a nutshell, I traveled to Ogbomosho 2 weeks ago to have a Business meeting with the BM and unfortunately she had an emergency meeting at their headquarters at ILORIN, so I proceeded to Ilorin for the meeting because I decided to go back to Lagos that night.

On getting to ILORIN, the meeting was heard but it was already late so I couldn't go back to Lagos that night, then I decided to sleep over.

So I entered one Hotel at Challenges Area in ILORIN and the first thing I did, I called my Son and one of my friend that I'm in that hotel and I mentioned the name of the hotel and the address, so the moment the receptionist heard me mentioned the hotel and address she was shock and suddenly i saw 2 guys came in, and told the receptionist that she should not give the hotel acc to any customer and ATM is not allowed for payment 🤔 I was shocked and left the place to GRA at EMIRATES Hotel.

This is my Story and people should be observant, things are happening in Nigeria!!!

My little advice.

If you are not going for a professional course or high-in-demand-course, leave university and look for a skill to learn. And I mean a skill you can grow to an industry.

You think people that adopted foreign accent did it for fun? Most oyibos, especially the not too educated ones, find it difficult to understand our Nigerian accent. You have have to adopt their accent in order to communicate effectively.

I've not seen the likes of Ngozi okonjo Iwuala etc with an accent and yet she has a verse exposure with Oyibos of all background.
