Olanrewaju92: This is interesting, I wouldn't have known this until someone told me that I can use a SOA of someone that bears the same name with my sponsor, bla bla bla and was about believing the crap. The fact is that I'm a kind of person that always believe that there isn't any shortcuts to success.
Enlighten me on issues like "SOA of someone that bears the same name with my sponsor" (how true is that). Waiting on you sir and thank for the previous haste reply. Bros na them o. Better run for your life. |

Cakay: Oh thanks so much. Thanks for been very explicit
But I need clarity. Do colleges give PGD and which one is PGC by the way. Would you suggest a PGD?
Thanks once again Yea colleges give PGDs. PGC is post graduate certificate. I wouldn't suggest a PGD as I said earlier the refusal rate for PGD has been very high lately. |
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by toluine56(m): 12:12pm On Feb 07, 2017 |
Cakay: I would appreciate your candid advice on this or anyone with such experience .
Thanks Yes you can apply but keep the following in mind: 1. There are some questions you should direct to your school cos only they can give you accurate answers. 2. You have a masters degree and a masters degree is generally considered higher than a college diploma (assuming youre going for a PGD or PGC) by the visa officers (those that'll screen your visa application). many have been refused visa for this sole reason. 3. Your best bet will be going for another masters degree. Note that some have been successful going for PGD, PGCs, albeit with a low succession rate. Cheers |

yemdogg: Indeed family sponsorship exists for permanent residence applications. However, the op is going for studies in canada.
Check manitoba nominee program. I just might not be thinking in line with 'op'. If he's going purely for studies which I doubt, then by all means, but in my opinion, having a sibling who's a citizen and is willing to sponsor is a very big advantage one should jump at. Although, its diff strokes for different folks. I'll check it out. Thanks |

yemdogg: My brother i tire o. The kind of Information people roll here ehn go fear you. Hello yemdogg Ermm that no 1 question, does family sponsorship not apply here. What I mean is can't one sponsor their sibling to become a PR cos i think(not sure) its a much more straightforward route; if it exists. Though it takes a lot of time, its worth the wait cos frankrobbn1 wouldnt then have to pay exorbitant international fees, faster PR and so on. Even study visa these days takes forever so who cares? Please any other person should confirm too if any such thing exists. |

chigrad: Good morning all. I want to know if it's essential to write IELTS Academic to get a job while studying in Canada. The school I applied to do not need IELTS for admission purposes. But someone said if I do not have IELTS Academics I won't be able to work. I already have IELTS General with good scores. Don't know if that covers the Academics for work purposes. Thanks for your kind response No. It isn't essential to write IELTS or whatever exam to get a job while studying. That's a totally wrong info. Once you arrive Canada with your study visa, your work permit will be issued at Point of entry (POE) all things being equal. |

Muafrika2: Knowledge comes by taking things into your brain. By hearing, sight, taste, smelling, touching
Understanding is possession of knowledge behind the facts known.
Wisdom is knowing when, how, to apply your knowledge.
Knowledge matures to understanding, which matures to wisdom. Great thanks. I love this |
