Crime / Yewande Fatoki The Husband Killer (her Pictures At The Scene Of Crime). by toluk: 3:21pm On Feb 04, 2016
The police took Yewande to the scene of crime for further investigation yesterday, looking at her from a close range will tell you that there is nothing like shoulder dislocation or injury on her body. Her reaction was based on the fact that lowo had a child out of wedlock and she stabbed him in sleep. Yewande fatoki as always been a violent wife, never respected in-laws. Now the lady in question is using her possition as a staff of at the department of public prosecution at ministry of justice to mess up the murder case. God will save us away from violent partners. RIP still Uncle Lowo Oyediran Ajanaku.

Inside story: How Yewande, Ibadan lawyer killed her husband

A close friend of Oyelowo Oyediran Ajanaku, the 38 year old Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife graduate, killed by his lawyer- wife on 2 February in Ibadan, has thrown some light on what transpired before the tragic crime of passion, that has triggered shock waves, nationwide. From the story, Yewande clearly intended to kill her husband, having stabbed him at two separate occasions, same night, with the last stabbing with a knife, on the neck, a fatal one.

Lowo Oyediran Ajanaku: before he was killed by his wife, Yewande

Oyelowo Oyediran Ajanaku Popularly called LOWO a successful Nigerian businessman was resident in Paris (France) up until 2014, before his return to Nigeria to settle down with his wife, Yewande Fatoki Oyediran- a lawyer working as a Principal State Counsel at the Ministry of Justice Oyo state Nigeria.

He hailed from Osun state Southern Nigeria. He attended Olufi High school- Gbongan Osun state, Lagos State Polytechnic and then proceeded to Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife Osun state Nigeria and further had his MSc from Grenoble Business School, France.

The Oyedirans

February 2nd seemed like a regular day or so I thought until I got a text message that Oyelowo was dead. I called his sister in-law (Temitayo) who happened to be my very close friend to confirm and on hearing her wail on the other end of the phone, I discontinued the call. Confused and in shock, I dialled her number again. In tears and with a shaken voice, I asked how it happened. Then she narrated the ordeal amidst tears.
“Last night Lowo and his wife Yewande had an argument in their Akobo home in Ibadan, where they reside, over his proposed business trip scheduled for later in the week. Lowo was to travel to Europe for business purposes and then stop over to visit his child (from another woman) who’s also living in Europe with the mother.
“This didn’t go well with Yewande I suppose and the squabble continued into late In the night. In the process Yewande stabbed her husband Lowo on the shoulder missing his heart by just few inches.

The first stab on the shoulder

“Their neighbour-the Landlord intervened in the matter and took Oyelowo to a nearby hospital for treatment as he bled profusely. After treatment he was released to return home and instructed to rest as he had lost a lot of blood. On arriving home, the Landlord’s son offered Lowo his room to pass the night. But he declined the offer stating clearly that ‘all was fine as he trusted his wife and believed she didn’t mean to harm him’.

And Lowo after the fatal stab on the neck

“Few hours later, a shout was heard again: it was the cry of a man in agony. Oyelowo was battling for his life, blood gushing out of his neck and mouth. His wife Yewande had used a knife to stab him once again, unfortunately it was in the neck, a very delicate part of the body. He was whisked to the hospital where he was certified dead on arrival”.

“Oyelowo Oyediran Ajanaku was 38yrs old when his wife Yewande Oyediran,Nee Fatoki, stabbed him in the neck with a knife which ultimately led to his untimely death.

“I Met Lowo in Obafemi Awolowo University during my undergraduate days. He was a proud African man and he always said it with pride that he was a GBONGAN man.

“Describing Oyelowo in simple terms, I would call him a “Good man”, kind, jovial or rather say he’s a Jester, easy going, fun loving and absolutely peaceful.

“Lowo had always portrayed the characteristics of a good man to the society and has successfully brought foreign investors to Nigeria such as Aller Aqua a Denmark based company ( Aller Aqua produces fish feed for freshwater and saltwater aquaculture) .
‘He is always there to support anyone that needs help. All he wanted was for people to be happy around him. He was a Positive Impact to the Society. In over 10 years of knowing and relating with him I can’t seem to find any fault in him. Everyone loved being around him, he had charisma. His death has left a massive vacuum in the hearts and lives of his loved ones. He would be greatly missed by his family, friends, associates and loved ones.

“We want the world to know because as I write to you, the Family of the wife (the Fatokis’) are doing all in their power to see that this case is covered up. We want Justice to prevail, a grievous crime has been committed. We want the law to take its full course.
“This could have happened to anyone, anywhere across the universe. A crime is a crime irrespective of location, race or persons involved, this is a massive test on our judicial system as the world watches the outcome of this through global media.”

*If you believe that Lowo must get justice, you are invited to join the campaign using the Hashtag #JUSTICE4LOWO

Politics / A Nairalander Explains What He Did With 10Million Naira Given To Him By Dasuki. by toluk: 4:50pm On Dec 13, 2015
My attention has been drawn to rumours making the rounds that I was an alleged beneficiary of 10 Million naira from the proceeds of funds from the office of the former national security adviser - Sambo Dasuki. I want to make it categorically and abundantly clear that what transpired between Dasuki and I was a mutually beneficial business transaction conducted under the ambit of the law.

Sometime last year, I was approached by Mr Dasuki to supply pepper to the defence ministry for the production of locally manufactured pepper bullets to fight boko haram. My company, Man Must Wack Nigeria Limited supplied the agreed consignment of pepper to the tune of 10 Million naira and payment was made accordingly.

I am a law abiding citizen of this country and I take exception to attempts by a section of the media to malign and impugn my good reputation. I would not hesitate to seek legal action on further malicious utterances from anybody.
Thanks.

Politics / What You Never Knew About Governor Ayodele Fayose. This Will Shock You. by toluk: 7:19pm On May 26, 2015
The political drama in Ekiti since Buhari was declared winner of the March 28th election has no doubt been crisis ridden, courtesy of the APC lawmakers that waited for the result of the election before realizing Fayose has been breaching the constitution. The acclaimed change agents deliberately provoked the executive by unnecessarily delaying the ratification of some key portfolios the Government needed to run successfully.
Omirin and the lawmakers decided to announce a long recess when Fayose was sworn in and to make matter worse, he decided not to attend the inauguration of the incoming government based on selfish, frivolous and baseless claims. He Omirin was in shock and still is and couldn’t live with the reality that Fayose was sworn in on October 16th 2014 because, they had perfected their plans but as God will have it, it didn’t work out. He had already been disillusioned with the fact that the promise made to him didn’t materialize and since then he and a few disgruntled elements in the APC in Ekiti state i.e Ojudu ,others and their sponsors from outside the state have being bent on frustrating and making the state ungovernable for the Governor.
APC had lost power twice; first in 2003 and the last in 2014.Ironically, Ayo Fayose of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) was the nut that was too hard for the APC to break in the two times it got bashed at the polls.Apparently, three political parties exist in Ekiti State. They are: The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peter Ayodele Fayose, the incumbent Governor of the state. While PDP and APC were lawfully registered by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to contest for elective positions, the people of the state registered Fayose into their minds as a political idol whose actions please their wits.
How time flies! Just like yesterday, the Alliance for Democracy (AD) won governorship election in Ekiti state in 1999. The people voted then for AD because the party preached the virtues of welfarism, populism, progressivism and selflessness which the late Yoruba political sage, Obafemi Awolowo represents.
However, within six months that Adebayo assumed office, Ekiti masses starting lamenting. Adebayo governed his people with reckless abandonment. Salaries of civil servants were not paid as at when due.
As Adebayo grounded Ekiti, the people wail in utmost disappointment. However, as the April 2003 governorship election gathered momentum, the secluded people of Ekiti state queued behind Fayose who was the candidate of the PDP. The people wanted a change and they saw hope in Fayose.
As expected, on the Election Day, a befuddled Adebayo looked back and saw a scanty crowd behind him in all the polling units across the state. The commoners voted to knapsack Adebayo from government. They voted to install the man who speaks their language. Fayose was inaugurated on May 29 2003 as the second executive governor of the state amidst fanfare.
Against the prediction of some paper analysts who had thought Fayose would disappoint his people, the rounded politician governed Ekiti like a populist. All the arrears of salaries and allowances of teachers, civil servants and council workers that he inherited were paid before government appointees were paid their furniture allowance. The Artisans, Driver Unions, Motorcyclists, market men and women and all the labour forces were incorporated into the government. Fayose wined and dined with the common people. Fayose opened the floodgate of civilization in Ekiti. He gave Ado-Ekiti a face-lift. Ado-Ikere road and other inter- state roads in the state capital were dualized. Many roads that had never been asphalted were asphalted. Many Communities were opened up with a motorable road. From Awo to Eyio, Esure to Ifaki, Itaji to Omu to Ijelu, Iworoko to Are, Afao to Igbemo, Ire to Afao, Ikere to Igabara odo, Aramoko to Erinjiyan, Ilawe to Igbara-odo, Ikogosi to Erinjiyan; from the north to the south, west to the eastern parts of the state, many roads were opened up by the Fayose’s administration.
Under Fayose, Ekiti performance rose from number 34th to 7th position in SSCE. All the state owned tertiary institutions were refurbished with high-quality infrastructures. College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti was ranked the best state owned in Nigeria. EKSU too received a dutiful attention. With a sterling performance, Fayose decimated the Elitist oriented AD and anti-masses bourgeoisies within the PDP in Ekiti State.
As Fayose’s popularity booms among the common people, the elites got livid. In a swift response, the Elites bombarded the town with cants. They incited the common people against Fayose. The masses were wheedled by humbug told them by the elites. Having succeeded in fooling the masses, they enlisted the support of the then Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo against Fayose.
To my surprise, the Owu General bows to the pressure of angry Ekiti elites and traded his begotten son to the opposition. The state lawmakers were also coerced into the conspiracy against the Afao-Ekiti born politician.
And after many twists and turns, the enemies against Ekiti succeeded in their evil plot against the state. Fayose was decayed. He was impeached at gun point. A civilian coup was carried out. Fayose was sent into exile. The AD and its members that had been annihilated by Fayose in Ekiti moved with their Lagos based leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu to form the Action Congress (AC) which the anti-Fayose’s used to run for elective positions in 2007 general elections. Akin Osuntokun from Okemesi whom Fayose was allegedly oiling from exile was disqualified from running for the primaries of PDP. In swift radar, Fayose supporters picked a United States based Varsity Don, Adesegun Ojo and bankrolled him against Oni who was the candidate of Abuja.
The primaries were contested, results were released, the Abuja candidate, Segun Oni lost but the Engineer from Ifaki-Ekiti was picked by the power that be. Alas, INEC declared Oni as the winner of the election that was without doubt, marred with irregularities.
Nevertheless, when Fayose came back from exile in December 2007, he conspired with AC against Oni, his party an for an electoral war of attrition. In 2009, an Appeal Court sitting in Ilorin ordered for a rerun election between Oni and Fayemi. Fayose mobilized the common people for Fayemi. However, the will of the people was circumvented by some Abuja based cabal. Fayemi won but Oni was declared winner again.
Nonetheless, Fayemi got his mandate back in October 2010. He won a fierce battle that lasted for 18 months in court.Fayose was named a martyr of democracy by the opposition then. With the support of the people, Fayose abase Oni and enthrone Fayemi. Sadly, Fayose was dejected by the people he assisted into government.Fayemi turned his back against Fayose. Fayose declared his intention to run for senate in 2011 but Fayemi refused to support him. He was fought with the instrumentality of money and power he lost.
After the defeat, Fayose went to drawing board. Seventeen months later, he came out to declare his ambition to govern Ekiti again. Then, the APC had been formed. Fortunately for Fayose, the people had felt offended by Fayemi. The teachers, pensioners, civil servants, council workers, artisans, students and the poorest of the poor that constitutes 80% of the voting population in the state were already angry with Fayemi.
On June 21 2014, the angry electorates came to judgment and they voted to restore their friend, Fayose back to government. Fayose made history as the first politician to defeat two different incumbent governors in Nigeria. He thread-bared a governor reportedly loved by the international community but possesses narrow honour among his people. He crushed the broom of APC in Ekiti into pieces across the sixteen local government areas of the state.
As usual, the opposition APC kicked. They alleged that the military aided Fayose’s victory against Fayemi. The party claimed that PDP used a chemical to rig the election. But on March 28 2015 Presidential and National Assembly elections which APC massively won across the South West, Nigeria, Fayose repeated same margin in Ekiti. 16-0 it ended against APC. On April 11th State Houses of Assembly election, Fayose’s candidates won all the twenty six assembly seats in the state. Fayose unravels APC’s tangle.
How did Fayose do it for three consecutive times within six months? People, no magic were performed. Ekiti is a civil service state. He pays workers salaries as at when due. Fayose empowers the local contractors with jobs so that cash could flow in the state. He pays pensioners promptly. He has reduced the tuition fees of all the state owned tertiary institutions by 40%. He handed state assembly ticket to four educated people among the artisans, drivers, market men and women.
The last time APC’s caucus unprecedentedly won elections in Ekiti was in 1999. Fayose won in 2003. He won election for Fayemi in 2009. He was victorious in 2014. He has triumphed twice in 2015. And going by the above, I can say that Fayose will keep winning elections for his party in Ekiti till his last breathe provided that he doesn’t derail.
How will fayose be impeached when the CJ refused to set up the panel within 7days as stipulated by the constitution.
He preferred to be seen with commoners than to be seen with the Elites; this was the 'mistake' he made that made the Elites pitched their tents against him.

The elites led war against him, and undemocratically toppled his government in 2006, but the commoners in response brought him back to power in 2014 defeating the symbol of Elitism 16:0 in all the 16 LG of the state. Not done with that, the commoners further affirmed their love for Oshoko, and hatred for the Elites by repeating another 16:0 balloting on the 28th of March 2015, and capped it all with 26:0 victory for Fayose.

The Elites painted Fayose as the devil. They called him unprintable names just to discredit him. They sent their Evil-11 and Goner-16 Trouble makers to intimidate him, but the commoners resisted. They said 'Fayose we know, Fayose we trust, Fayose we want'

The Elites used every propagating instrument to discredit him viz; Print and Electronic media but the commoners used social media viz; Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, Whatsapp, etc to correct that wrong impression about him.

The Ekiti people that I know will never follow bad, evil or devilish person. If Ayodele Fayose was actually bad, evil, or corrupt as he has been painted by the Elites, Ekiti kete would not have voted enmass for him in 2003, 2014, and twice in 2015.

People out side Ekiti should have asked, who is lying between the microscopic elites, who reside in Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, UK, US etc and the entire Ekiti people at home who are better furnished with first hand information about the happenings in the state.

Ayo Fayose isn't saint but, his filthiness, is better than the righteousness of the Elites. He doesn't pretend, and won't promise heaven on earth.

He is presently the Governor of Ekiti, and will be till 2018.
!
God bless Ekiti Kete!

God bless Ekiti Kete!
God bless Nigeria,
TOLU CALEB.

Politics / Fayose, APC, PDP Lawmakers Hold Peace Meeting Tomorrow. by toluk: 5:51pm On Apr 29, 2015
Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, the 19 All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmakers and seven Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lawmakers are to meet tomorrow to resolve the raging impeachment crisis rocking the state.

The meeting is at the instance of the state’s elders led by an eminent lawyer and founder of Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), Chief Afe Babalola.

The peace meeting is scheduled to hold at ABUAD and will bring the warring factions together in a face-to-face interactive session for the first time since the crisis erupted last November.

Fayose, in a statement he signed on Tuesday in Ado-Ekiti, has pledged his readiness to be committed to peace moves.

The governor said he was committed to the peace move to end the crisis and restore the state to the path of peace, prosperity and development.

He said the peace of Ekiti State is far above all interests and therefore everyone should support the elders’ peace efforts.

His words: “Ekiti elders, under the leadership of our highly respected legal icon Aare Afe Babalola (SAN), called a meeting between the two factions of the House of Assembly to resolve political crisis and I have no objection because the peace of Ekiti is far and above all other interests.

“The meeting is scheduled to hold at the Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti at 11am tomorrow.

“I, therefore, call on everybody to support this peace move and no one should do anything to undermine it.

“Knowing how agitated and concern the people of Ekiti have been on this crisis, I wish to urge our people to give this peace effort a chance.

“I urge security agencies to see to it that adequate security is provided before, during and after the meeting.

“I thank Ekiti people for their unflinching support for the government and appeal to them to continue to maintain peace, bearing in mind that no society can progress in an atmosphere of rancour.”
Politics / 9 Questions For The Man Who Trekked From Lagos To Abuja For Buhari. by toluk: 10:15pm On Apr 22, 2015
Like everyone else, I have been enthralled by the story of Hasheem Suleiman–the 33-year-old gentleman who took a leave of absence from his construction job, slipped into sportswear and trainers and (reportedly) made the journey from Lagos to Abuja (a distance of some 778 kilometers by road) on foot; all to celebrate Buhari’s victory at the presidential vote.

Most spectacularly, Suleiman achieved this feat under 20 days!

I am not even going to deny that the last time I trekked from Ojota to Yaba in Lagos (a distance of some 11 kilometers) during the #OccupyNigeria protests, I couldn’t move my legs for days and had ice packs strapped to my thighs for weeks; while my nieces took turns to massage my knees as I sipped on bottles of Lucozade!

I am still amazed that anyone could embark on a most dangerous trek across Nigeria’s unsafe terrain because his candidate won an election and I am fascinated even more that Suleiman touched down in Abuja in one piece.

I have a few harmless questions of my own:

1. Who saw Suleiman when he began this trek and who was the first person he told about the trek?

2. Who did he make the promise to? Any living witnesses out there?

3. How come the media only knew about Suleiman’s adventure when he got to Niger State–a few kilometers from Abuja?

4. How was he able to survive armed robbers, drunk drivers, witches and wizards, ritualists, carnivorous animals and muggers on the roads?

5. Who made sure he didn’t get a lift while he trekked?

6. Is it even scientifically possible to trek from Lagos to Abuja under a month?

7. From all the pictures we have seen, Suleiman wore the same apparel from start to finish of his journey. Any reasons why? Did he ever stop to have a bath or wash his clothing?

8. Any third party out there who somehow accompanied Suleiman on this trip or kept track of his milestones?

9. Did he stop to have a nap, check into an inn, sleep in the bushes or play ten-ten with the babes on his stops? Did he at any point even stop to admire the birds chirping on trees?

If Suleiman achieved this feat like he wants everyone to believe, may I go out on a limb and ask that he gets a national award of some sort? Is there a place in the Guinness Book of Records for him?

I will like to revoke my threat against my Igbo brothers in Lagos state Last week, I want you to know without Ibos, Lagos will not develop. Look at the important fields of interest they are well known for.

Prostitution, selling of fake video game discs, fake cds and dvds, fake drugs, peddling of hard drugs, piracy, selling of gala on the highway, selling of okrika clothing items, selling fake vehicle spare parts, importing substandard china goods, importing and exporting aba made clones etc.

This activities are very vital to the economic success of Lagos.

They are very vital to us . Pls vote for the candidiate of your choice Lagosians.

Politics / Why I Will Not Vote For Ambode By Tolu Caleb by toluk: 4:04am On Apr 10, 2015
I voted for General Buhari at the presidential election, but I will be voting for Jimi Agbaje at the Lagos Guber polls. That is an indication that our democracy has gone beyond the stage of using political parties as yardstick for voting a candidiate, but we now bank on individual competence. I wouldn’t be shocked if PDP takes over Lagos so as to humble Tinubu, and make him realise whatever he has become in Lagos and to the Yoruba people is not by any act of perfection of his but just by the mercies of God.

Tinubu has stonewalled many political ambitions and replace them with sheer imposition. Mamora was one of the finest and outspoken senators we ever had,but was asked to step down for Remi Tinubu in 2003, in my Local government in Ekiti State, Tinubu inlaw was handpicked to run for federal house of representative, His name is Hon. Oyetunde Oladimeji Ojo - Member of Nigeria's House of Rep. Representing IJERO/EFON/EKITI WEST, and married to Tinubu's daughter, Mrs. Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, the New Iyaloja of Lagos, who Tinubu just imposed on Lagos Market women after the demise of his mother. You wonder why should Lagos state with all the talk of progressivism be run that way? What is the essence of attending the US Democratic party’s convention and not bringing back any ideas from there.

The toll collection on the Lekki-Epe Expressway concession has been bought back by the Tinubu, hee `s in charge of Alpha Beta Consulting contracted to help with tax collection although the LIRS and Ministry of Finance, owned TVC, The nation,Oriental Hotels and many more. Converted Lagos state Polythecnic land in Ikosi Ketu to personal use and many more act of impunity.
A vote for Akinwunmi Ambode is a vote for a puppet Governor,it baffles me when I hear arguments that Lagos may suffer if it is not in alignment with the APC-FG,is it that APC has kept Lagosians in suffering by being in the opposition for 16 years or it is an indication that the Buhari led FG under APC intends to make opposition PDP states suffer? Jimi has repeatedly said that Olabode is not his God father and I believe him.

I've also seen JK alone in all his campaign drive unlike ambode that is always surrounded with vultures that want to milk Lagos dry, we've known Jimi Agbaje since his days at ANPP when he contested against Fashola. Was Bode George also his godfather then?
On the issue of corruption,Lagos state civil servants are the most corrupt set of workers in Nigeria presently, with the establishment of too many agencies doing the same work, extorting mone from the public, i.e LASIMRA,;LAASAA; LASEPA and the rest. I visited one of my client late last year and I met some set of guys that claimed they are from the agency incharge of lift and forks, they demanded for N200,000 for mere inspection fee, the continuation of this,Lastma selective operations and the rest is why Ambode`s noise is everywhere.\
Ambode is Tinubu's stooge. And in our current political clime, we should not have that. It is more important than anything else for both levels of govt to keep the other on their toes. It will help them perform better; and at least prolong our semi-democracy. Agbaje who has proven so far to be an independent mind and who speaks for himself .See reasons and vote wisely
