Okay am a 2015 batch b, stream ii corp member serving with a private software company in Lagos, i have been with them for about four months now, the problem are their rules which are :

1.) You work 8-6 everyday
2.) You are not allowed access to internet as a corp member
3.) You can't see the management, as any rule being opposed on you is final and is not subject to review or deliberation by us (i.e the corp members)
4.) You can't leave your seat until break time

All these rules and more I wasn't to comfy with them but was still managing but the problem now is that they just brought another rule which is to cancel our CDS days of which we refused. The H.R then said we should come to the office in the morning to collect a release form and then come back to the office after CDS, i mean who does that? Right now am seriously confused and don't even know what to do again as am scared of raising my voice just to let sleeping dogs lie.

Please i need your candid opinions, options and advice... Please no insults.. Help me get this to front page pls it's really serious.

Bros, what u just described here is not youth service, but hard labour!
Pls report to ur rea inspector or zonal inspector asap. It is not too late to be reposted. It is stated on ur posting letter dat youthe corps members should be treated like a normal staff, and dt ur cds day shud be left free for u.

Stop suffering in silence. I just completed my own service so I know what u are passing tru and I know u shudnt be passing tru it.

Ti iya nla ba gbeni sanle, keekeeke a maa gun.

When somtin great causes u to fall, little things seems to come to afflict u and cause reproach.

Upon that they were still forced to dobale in public, some against their will

But who says they were forced to genuflect? That act is an automatic response to one's reflex. It is second nature, especially to a yoruba man. Either it looks civilized or not, thts how they know to show appreciation. They may not be able to write a letter of appreciation.

Yipee!!!
It is a wonderful day. The skies bear witness of the greatness of this day.
Here we are, we made it! Today is...

Tradition is tradition. That's why we have education. Who created the tradition? I can't pay for love that's why I married foreign woman. The money I spent on wedding abroad and all that is more than Nigerian bride price but yet I can't pay for love. A woman is no commodity. Neither would my daughter be.

Nice one.
This man got married to. Foreign woman nd ws therefore saved of the extinct trdition of paying bride price. Waiting for dos who are planning to marry Sade, Tinuke, Chidinma, Nneka, Aisha or Aminat and are also dreaming of not paying bride price.
In many traditions today, the bride price is being returned when offered to d family. I guessed wht strted d whole issue of bride price is tht the bride's family wants to be sure that the man has a source of livelihood, where he got d money from and therefore, he will be able to take care of their child. People of course, will derail such an act. That is wht got wrong in the long run.

I didn't vote out GEJ. I could never ve considered doing that. Only he dat wears d shoe knows where it pinches.

Tradition is tradition, culture is culture. Let d Nigerian men who got married and didn't pay bride price come here and tell us. If you aint married and u're saying you won't pay, wait till then. Let's here from those who are married first.

Hungry for what exactly?
