Kobojunkie:
God never commanded any council to convene in His name to begin with and He never gave men authority to circumvent His New Covenant, and Law in the Kingdom of God, so technically what happened in Nicea had absolutely nothing to do with God and His commandments. undecided

And so all those who subscribe to any or all of the doctrines and traditions of men(and their churches, all of them founded on what transpired in nicea) do so against God and His Truth, Jesus Christ. undecided

In essence, the OP is wrong in his claim that Constantine made a mistake. Constantine, and the bishops sought to have power and control over the Christian movement just as the pharisees, and Sadducees had over the Jewish minds before Christianity, and what they did was create doctrines and traditions to this end. undecided

You will still agree with me that it was a mistake to think they can help God's work by forming a cult like body to tweak His work.......

MadamVanessa:
Goodmorning Christian brethrens and to all nairalanders.

In today's society, I noticed that people seem to see those that do not go to church regularly as not being serious with their heavenly race and salvation of soul and this makes it look like one salvation of soul is tied down to going to church regularly.

I am one of such person that do not like going to church at all, but I believe so much in God and I know I am not the only one in this. This problem is faced by so many people in the world.

So is there anything wrong in one not going to church regularly but believe in God within himself or herself and try his or her best in doing the things that pleases God.

Longest time Lady Vanessa well to me, there is nothing practically wrong in it as long as you keep a tidy soul with your neighbors and God by reading your Bible daily......a time is coming that many will not near church buildings to fellowship but will do so in the Spirit

The Mistakes Of Constantine That Birthed The Trinity Doctrine, Paganism With Christianity!

God is Supreme and He Alone Is One but how come some Christians refer to Jesus Christ as the Almighty God (Yahweh) When the Bible never said so. Below is my take with references from the Holy Scriptures why the doctrine of Trinity should not be adopted as a means of referencing the Godhead because of its origin;

"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:" (Deuteronomy 6:4)

"I Saw In The Night Visions, And, Behold, One Like The Son Of Man (Jesus Christ) Came With The Clouds Of Heaven, And Came To The Ancient Of Days (God Almighty Father, Yahweh), And They Brought Him Near Before Him." (Daniel 7: 13)

"The Revelation Of Jesus Christ, Which God (Yahweh, Jehovah) Gave Unto Him, To Shew Unto His Servants Things Which Must Shortly Come To Pass; And He Sent And Signified It By His Angel Unto His Servant John:" (Revelation 1:1)

"Jesus Said Unto Them, If God Were Your Father, Ye Would Love Me: For I proceeded Forth And Came From God (Yahweh); Neither Came I Of Myself, But He Sent Me." (John 8: 42)

How Come Trinitarians Are Preaching Three Gods With Equal Powers And Strength When The Bible Never Said So. What Do You Believe? Bible Never Calls Jesus As God Almighty But Calls Him Only Begotten Son Of God Who Is Subservient To God Almighty And Was Sent By God To Redeem All Mankind To God Almighty By The Shedding Of His Precious Blood As Instructed By The Ancient Of Days.

Origin of the Doctrine of Trinity

Did you care to know the origin of trinity and what it stands for? I guess you don't know, let me help you:

"What occurred at the Council of Nicea?"

The Council of Nicea took place in AD 325 by order of the Roman Emperor Caesar Flavius Constantine. Nicea was located in Asia Minor, east of Constantinople. At the Council of Nicea, Emperor Constantine presided over a group of church bishops and other leaders with the purpose of defining the nature of God for all of Christianity and eliminating confusion, controversy, and contention within the church. The Council of Nicea overwhelmingly affirmed the deity and eternality of Jesus Christ and defined the relationship between the Father and the Son as “of one substance.” It also affirmed the Trinity—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit were listed as three co-equal and co-eternal Persons.

Constantine, who claimed conversion to Christianity, called for a meeting of bishops to be held in Nicea to resolve some escalating controversies among the church leadership. The issues being debated included the nature of Jesus Christ, the proper date to celebrate Easter, and other matters. The failing Roman Empire, now under Constantine’s rule, could not withstand the division caused by years of hard-fought, “out of hand” arguing over doctrinal differences. The emperor saw the quarrels within the church not only as a threat to Christianity but as a threat to society as well. Therefore, at the Council of Nicea, Constantine encouraged the church leaders to settle their internal disagreements and become Christlike agents who could bring new life to a troubled empire. Constantine felt “called” to use his authority to help bring about unity, peace, and love within the church.

The main theological issue had always been about Christ. Since the end of the apostolic age, Christians had begun debating these questions: Who is the Christ? Is He more divine than human or more human than divine? Was Jesus created or begotten? Being the Son of God, is He co-equal and co-eternal with the Father, or is He lower in status than the Father? Is the Father the one true God, or are the Father, Son, and Spirit the one true God?

A priest named Arius presented his argument that Jesus Christ was not an eternal being, that He was created at a certain point in time by the Father. Bishops such as Alexander and the deacon Athanasius argued the opposite position: that Jesus Christ is eternal, just like the Father is. It was an argument pitting trinitarianism against monarchianism.

Constantine prodded the 300 bishops in the council make a decision by majority vote defining who Jesus Christ is. The statement of doctrine they produced was one that all of Christianity would follow and obey, called the “Nicene Creed.” This creed was upheld by the church and enforced by the Emperor. The bishops at Nicea voted to make the full deity of Christ the accepted position of the church. The Council of Nicea upheld the doctrine of Christ’s true divinity, rejecting Arius’s heresy. The council did not invent this doctrine. Rather, it only recognized what the Bible already taught.

The New Testament teaches that Jesus the Messiah should be worshipped, which is to say He is co-equal with God. The New Testament forbids the worship of angels (Colossians 2:18; Revelation 22:8, 9) but commands worship of Jesus. The apostle Paul tells us that “in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form” (Colossians 2:9; 1:19). Paul declares Jesus as Lord and the One to whom a person must pray for salvation (Romans 10:9-13; cf. Joel 2:32). “Jesus is God overall” (Romans 9:5) and our God and Savior (Titus 2:13). Faith in Jesus’ deity is basic to Paul’s theology.

John’s Gospel declares Jesus to be the divine, eternal Logos, the agent of creation and source of life and light (John 1:1-5,9); "the Way, the Truth, and the Life" (John 14:6); our advocate with the Father (1 John 2:1-2); the Sovereign (Revelation 1:5); and the Son of God from the beginning to the end (Revelation 22:13). The author of Hebrews reveals the deity of Jesus through His perfection as the most high priest (Hebrews 1; Hebrews 7:1-3). The divine-human Savior is the Christian’s object of faith, hope, and love.

The Council of Nicea did not invent the doctrine of the deity of Christ. Rather, the Council of Nicea affirmed the apostles’ teaching of who Christ is—the one true God and the Second Person of the Trinity, with the Father and the Holy Spirit.

N.B: It is not known why the term "Trinity" was adopted by these 300 Bishops assembled by Constantine the Great, because throughout the Biblical teachings through the Prophets and other writers until the time of Christ manifestations there was no concrete expository teachings in the Bible equating the power of Christ to God Almighty either in substance or in authority but that these two personalities are different and distinct beings with a clear definition of superiority from God Almighty (Yahweh) to Jesus Christ (God's Almighty Only  Begotten Son), sent from above, which was clearly against their positions at this meeting on Trinity. One unique outcome from this Episcopal meeting at the Council of Nicea is that, Jesus Christ remains a Divine Being that deserves to be worshipped as mandated upon him by His Father in Heaven, God Almighty.

"Who was Constantine the Great?"

Constantine the Great (AD 280—337) was one of Rome’s most powerful and successful emperors and the first to self-identify as a Christian. He is known for his economic, political, and military achievements, as well as his religious reforms. Medieval writers praised him as the ideal ruler, against whom all kings were measured. Over time, his reign was viewed with waning enthusiasm. Historians also began to debate how committed Constantine was to Christianity or how devoutly he actually followed it. Constantine was influential in Christian history for his personal faith, religious politics, issuing the Edict of Milan, and calling the Council of Nicea.

Constantine was the son of a Roman official and his Christian concubine. This placed him in line to succeed the throne of the Western Roman Empire. At age 31, he prepared to attack his chief rival with an army outnumbered 4-to-1. Before the battle, Constantine claimed to have seen a vision of Jesus, with a specific symbol, telling him, “By this sign, conquer.” Constantine ordered his troops to mark their shields with this symbol, the Chi-Rho, then a symbol commonly representing Christianity. The Chi-Rho combines the first two letters in the Greek word for “Christ” and resembles a capital P with an X drawn through the spine. Constantine’s forces routed the enemy, and he became emperor. The Chi-Rho symbol would be part of Constantine’s personal signature for the rest of his life.

As emperor, Constantine issued the Edict of Milan, which declared Roman citizens free to worship whatever gods they chose. The Edict of Milan ended longstanding persecution of Christians in the Roman Empire. At that time, Constantine did not (yet) claim to be a Christian himself, nor did he advocate for an official state religion. Based on his continued use of certain pagan symbols, scholars believe Constantine’s early religion was generally theistic, rather than specifically Christian. His boldness in using Christian language grew during his reign. After assuming control of the entire Roman Empire, he built lavish churches and came to openly espouse Christianity.

During Constantine’s reign, controversy arose over the teachings of Arius, who denied the full divinity of Jesus. Constantine called a meeting of Christian bishops, the Council of Nicea, to settle the dispute. Contrary to popular myth, this meeting did not discuss the canon of the Bible, nor was Constantine influential in the council’s decisions. Emperors saw themselves as responsible for promoting “correct” forms of worship; Constantine’s interest was not to declare orthodoxy but to let the bishops determine it so that he could enforce it. Further, Constantine was not known for his philosophical ability and found himself lost in deeper discussions of theology. Rather, he acted as the council’s mediator and host, roles at which he excelled.

Constantine’s Christian faith has frequently been critiqued, if not questioned outright. On one hand, he made great strides in securing political and social rights for Christians and initiating general humanitarian reforms. He poured time and money into building churches and publicly supporting Christianity. Particularly toward the end of his reign, Constantine vocally professed faith in Christ and credited his success to God. He was baptized shortly before his death, according to the common practice of his time.

On the other hand, Constantine continued many pagan practices, including veneration of the sun. His interest in Christian orthodoxy was motivated primarily by a desire to maintain social order. There are also reasons to suspect that Constantine was as ruthless toward rivals as prior emperors had been. One of his sons, a brother-in-law, and his second wife were executed for reasons still unknown. He freely blended pagan practices with Christian beliefs, leading scholars to suggest his public adoption of Christianity might have been a savvy political move, linking him to a rising social force in the Roman Empire.

Ultimately, whether Constantine was a committed Christian, a shrewd, Christian-friendly politician, or something in between is an open question. Without doubt, he ended centuries of persecution and greatly enhanced the social standing of Christianity. He committed resources to churches and Christian education, and his leadership helped to clarify important Christian doctrines. However, Constantine’s actions resulted in some negative complications. Free from persecution, the church naturally attracted more false converts. The melding of Christian themes with secular politics set a pattern that contributed to later disasters such as the Inquisition and the Crusades. Constantine’s blending of pagan, building-and-priest-centered worship with Christianity also contributed to the rise of Roman Catholicism.

Constantine’s legacy is complex and not wholly understood, but he stands as one of the dominant figures in Christian history. Without doubt, his influence transformed Christianity from a persecuted minority into the eventual state religion of the Roman Empire and the most widespread faith in history.

Knowing who Emperor Flavius Constantine was and his beliefs according to his history will tell the Church clearly what is the Bible standpoint on some teachings before the outcome of the Council of Nicea as advocated for and supported by the Emperor.

Look at this clownish huge joke yapping about what he knew nothing about.....Davido had since part ways with mumu Sony Entertainment as a smart dude.....big music labels like that control almost everything about your career hence Davido's smart move of opting out that's why he took the risk of going it alonbe with his hard-earned money to promote his concert in an arena you need the services of these great music labels to promote you and yes he did it on his own and won big.....I insist, what he did remains unprecedented...go figure. By all standard, Davido may be younger in age to Wizkid but he is way smarter than Wizkid in this business......you will soon understand

I am not trying to use Wizkid to play Davido down. I am just stating facts about Davido. What was his fear before the show? Ukraine should take the deal because Putin will enforce them (and add a few punishments) if he forcefully takes over Kyiv. (He's still consolidating his hold on surrounding the capital and seizing the airports he needs to stage a final assault on Kyiv.)

This is the price you pay or not using your common sense when you share borders with a military superpower. The US almost invaded (and considered nuking) Cuba when they tried something similar in 1962.

And to everyone screaming "Putin is losing" and all that, the war is only 12 days and the capital is already surrounded. Imagine?

Ukraine's capital was completely surrounded on the 3rd day of the war (Feb 27), and yet you all claim Ukraine's winning. Even Saddam Hussein put up a better fight, even though the US had bombed him for years and bombed the shit out of him a whole month before invading in 2003.

Politics / Re: APC, Buhari Seek Court Dismissal Of Appeal To Swear-In Atiku by tomakint: 10:06am On Feb 10, 2022
Ladiesdoctor:
It's not Bola Tinubu that elected buhari. This is a myth that has been sold in the media, but it is not true at all! If Bola Tinubu could elect anyone, he would have done it in 2011 with Atiku.

buhari was elected because the NewPDP block broke out of PDP in 2014 and effectively rendered the party defeated. If the newPDP block had not broken away, along with the North vowing to return to power by all means necessary, a thousand Bola Tinubus would never have been able to elect buhari. The internal betrayal of GEJ was so bad that even Muazu, his own chairman, was working against him and this was down to one thing; the North wanted to return to power. Bola Tinubu was a sectional leader in 2013/2014, whose only influence was in the SW.

He had no national spread or appeal. He couldn't have elected a president in Nigeria. Not even with a thousand bullion vans. OBJ, Abdusalam, Atiku, Saraki, and all the other major players, who broke away from PDP in 2014, practically killed it at the time.

That was why this same group, took over the legislative arm in 2015 and Tinubu was left in the cold. Tinubu's ability to elect a president on his own is one of those myths that many have bought that is quite laughable.

The only reason the North doesn't bother to debunk this false narrative is because they are smart enough to realize that the alternative narrative is that they betrayed GEJ, and they don't want that narrative out there in the open.

They prefer to have the Tinubu narrative & allow him bask in his self delusion. Nobody really sends Tinubu outside of Lagos. If the APC presents Tinubu & the PDP presents a northern candidate, the PDP will win easily. The North don't vote for party. They vote for their interest.

Tinubu is grossly overrated by the media hype. The last time Tinubu put this his self delusional hype to test, he sent a recorded video message to Edo State indigenes to support Ize Iyamu for governorship election. What was the result of that move? It cost Ize Iyamu the election. In which he lost woefully.

It was so bad that it created a winning slogan for Obaseki, "Edo no be Lagos!". Tinubu's influence on Nigeria's election is a myth. Even Tinubu's influence on Lagos elections is also a myth.

If it were not a myth, he wouldn't require the use of thugs during Lagos elections. In the last presidential elections, thugs had to go around disrupting elections in perceived PDP strongholds. A man who has Lagos support like he claims won't require that to win elections.

Most elections in Lagos are won by slim margins. buhari won GEJ in Lagos in 2015 by a slim margin, even after all the manipulations and thuggery.
Also, nobody has the means or ability to bribe the whole of Nigeria to win a presidential candidate election. That is another myth.

Nigeria's presidential elections are not determined by money but by religious, tribal and sectional sentiments.

The Lagos Attorney General who packaged the Alpha Beta tax collection Bill to Tinubu in 2000 and seven years later helped him do the bogus pensions Bill that became a template for other rogue governors

don't mind those blind ones who have eyes that can't see clearly......Osinbajo is nothing but a pious fraud

Op but bode George is APC in pdp so you can't say his powerful in pdp since his impact is not felt only to be making noise about Tinubu to distract people, he is not interested in pdp winning in Lagos, he is in alliance with APC

Those allegations have not been established as facts but more of hearsays however, PDP is looking forward to claim Lagos from Tinubu's grip and while at that let it be known that PDP won Lagos twice under Tinubu's frim grip that is under Funsho Williams in 1999 and Agbaje in 2015 although many talked about Obanikoro's time but I doubt it.

The 6 Most Powerful PDP Leaders in Lagos

In the not-too-far distance when the political engineering of Nigerian politics will be a subject of discussion among scholars, the 4th Republic (from 1999 till date) will be the most debated and scrutinized because despite having the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Republics to study as templates and learn from, it choose to draw it’s own course as designed, directed by the gladiators that shaped it and make it more intriguing and most talked about as far as the checkered history of Nigerian politics is concerned. It will surprise many that a certain political party, the Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria (PDP) is the major reason this 4th Republic earn its reputation as the most interesting. It boast of being the largest political party in Africa and really held sway as the most dominant party in Nigeria in the most part (16 years) of the 4th Republic until an opposition, All People’s Congress (APC), toppled it’s reign from power through the hands of its last President, His Excellency, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, by her (APC) candidate, His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari. However, I will be limiting my discussion to Lagos, one of the political hotspots in Nigeria and the major gladiators that are keeping the political tempo going as we are approaching the 2023 Elections. Below are the major political gladiators that are really shaking things up within Lagos PDP at the moment and are forces to reckon with based on their political clouts;

Chief Olabode George: Born 76 years ago on November 21st in the year 1945, Chief Olabode Ibiyinka George popularly addressed as “BG” by his ardent supporters has come a long way and has his own fair share of the dirty, muddle waters of politics in Nigeria by always emerging a survivor each time he finds himself facing such battles. He is the apex leader of PDP as far as the Southwest arm of the party is concerned. His inputs in steering the affairs of the great party in this zone has been of great remarks and achievements to the party’s successes over the years in this axis. A retired Naval Officer who rose to the rank of a Commodore in the Nigerian Navy (an equivalent to Brigadier General in the Nigerian Army). A one-time military Governor of old Ondo State (1988-1990) with sterling performances to show for it one of which is the establishment of Owo Polytechnic a state owned higher institution (now known as The Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo by an edict in 1990. A former chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority where he gave his best to the growth of that establishment. His foray into politics shortly after the ban on politics was lifted and ushered into the 4th Republic starting from 1999 saw him pitched his tent with the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and aligned well with the President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo. He has been the party’s national vice-chairman in the southwest zone, later became PDP Deputy National Chairman, South, and then the National Deputy Chairman of the PDP. He has been a force to reckon with as far as Southwest politics is concerned today especially in Lagos where he is the “Leader” everybody wants to court for political longevity and relevance. His Luggard house in Lagos Island is a “Mecca” for all political stalwarts, party faithful and aspirants within the party for consultations and advices. A true political colossus and juggernaut that must be courted. Chief Bode George holds the chieftaincy title of Atoona of Yorubaland. He is happily married and blessed with children and grand children.

Dr Bimbo Ogunkelu: Healthcare Practitioner, owner of Kelu Specialist Hospital, Lagos. Dr Ogunkelu specializes as a cardiologist. A PDP chieftain and former Minister of Cooperation and Integration in Africa, he is the Chairman of Elders Committee of Lagos State Chapter of PDP, a real force to reckon with as far as Lagos politics is concerned. He is a grass root politician as far as Lagos PDP is concerned and always fights for justice within the party, he is still one of the few political gladiators within the party many look up to for political advice and tutor. Lagos politics is privileged to have him as far as party politics is concerned. A widely traveled man, father of children and a good husband to his wife.

Prince Adewale Gomez: A true Lagos born Prince with touches of class and elegance to give Lagos the utmost best Lagosians all deserve in order to start enjoying their darling Lagos again. A business guru with specialties in oil and gas, facilities management, human development, real and estate and technologies. Obviosly without do doubt, a man with such an impressive experience in these array of businesses can easily be seen as a man with many tentacles needed to pilot the affairs of a state as Lagos to the Promised Land. His journey into politics under the great party, PDP, was borne out of empathy for the downtrodden and a call to serve his fatherland, having been abroad for a long time affecting lives positively well over there and at the home front. This Badagry Prince raised in Surulere choose to return home to give his quality experiences and Midas touch to those who have been yearning for a change under the repressive and tormenting government of the APC in Lagos since 1999. His activism part led him to launch the Iya yi to Leko initiative in order to combat the injustices meted out to Lagosians under the ruling party in the state and this initiative received general acceptance within Lagos and outside which made him to consider a shot at the topmost job in the State through his Wale Gomez Movement Worldwide, a political group championing the Gomez for Governor campaign which is spreading like wildfire all over Lagos. A soft spoken man with knack for quality services and tastes for good things that affect others positively. He is married to Rt Hon Titi Gomez, a former Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, a political Amazon, a good wife to her amiable husband and a worthy complement to the rich boardroom experiences of Prince Wale Gomez, they are blessed with children. A thoroughbred Lagosian with centuries of rich family history and whose lineage are deeply rooted in the Lagos Island area spreading across Catholic Mission street, Igbosere & Bamgbose quarters of Eko... ar'omisa legbelegbe. An alumni of the prestigious St. Gregory College Lagos Island is an erudite academician and astute Business Man who boasts of cognitive trainings across the United States of America and Europe with PGD, FCIM, in his kitty. Wale Gomez sits on top of some high end blue chip companies that are doing real good in the business market viz: CEO, Oylex Petroleum Limited; CEO, Legends Care Agency Limited, London, UK; Principal Partner at HCA Nigeria Limited (A Big time Player in Facility Management); Chairman/CEO, Quant Capital Limited (A private equity firm with core investment in Real Estate and Technologies). This is the man, a leader and astute business man Lagos needs to steer the ship of State to an enviable level of excellence.

Otunba Segun Adewale: A true politician and entrepreneur with class and vigor for service, justice and equity. Otunba Segun Adewale a.k.a Aeroland has paid his dues to be where he is today both in the areas of business and politics. His doggedness and versatility to always get things done the right way has paved way for him and etched his name in the rank of political gladiators in Lagos politics and even southwest politics. Born 55 years ago into the family of Pa and Madam Michael Adewale of Ile Aremo & Ile Ogegenijo quarters from Ipoti Ekiti area of present Ekiti State. A winner and lover of philanthropic gestures right from his secondary school days at Ipoti High School, Ekiti State by assisting indigent families in Ipoti especially in house construction and other menial jobs free of charge. A holder of Bachelor Science degree in Geography from the foremost, prestigious and elite University of Ibadan, he took the challenge further to have a Master degree in public administration from the Lagos State University, Ojo, this propelled him to later venture into the Aviation sector by setting up his own company, Aeroland Travel Limited, a business travel management, Air charter and Aviation training company in 1997. He later obtained a Certificate in Airline Management and Operations in 2012 and got a requisite Certificate in Flight Operations from the Institute of Flight Operations and Dispatcher (IFOD), all in Texas, USA in 2013. Today, his company has become one of the major players in the aviation industry with over 20 awards to show for it, few of which are but not limited to; the Delta Airlines Award for Excellence in 2013, the Lufthansa Top Performer 2012, British Airways No. 1 Retail Agency in Nigeria. His journey into the world of politics dated back into his university days in 1988 when he contested as Sports Secretary and won under the Student Union Government. Going into mainstream politics in his Alimosho local government area in Lagos was his biggest break when he ran under the banner of PDP in 2011 for the Federal House of Rep under Alimosho Federal Constituency and also the Lagos West Senatorial district in 2015 as Senatorial candidate. A widely travelled man with passion for human development, this great political leader with recognition in Lagos was once the Lagos State PDP Chairman and later on became the ex-officio of the southwest arm of the party. Aeroland as he is popularly known, is feared by the opposition because of his fighting spirit and campaign strategies. He is happily married and blessed with children.

Hon Setonji Koshoedo: He is currently the Deputy National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria, a worthy leader from Badagry axis of Lagos. One time Rep member at the National Assembly between 2003 – 2007 where he reached out to many lives positively from his constituency. Former State Chairman of PDP between April 2008 – April 2012; former member, National Executive Committee (highest decision making body) of the PDP between March 2012 – July 2014. This resume qualifies this political juggernaut and leader as a colossus as far as politics is concerned in Nigeria because he was occupying these enviable positions at a time the PDP was the largest political party in Nigeria. Hon Koshoedo is a down to earth person with a mind of a true leader willing and ready to serve and these can be seen in his constituency in Badagry division of Lagos. He is well known as a trustworthy man of his words, an astute administrator whose leadership skills in the boardroom see him as members of top organizations in the field of business developments, investments and even in politics. He is Chairman, HFDI Investment Ltd; Principal Partner, Development Resources Design Ltd; Member, International Association of Political Consultants (IAPC) and many others. Hon Koshoedo is happily married and blessed with children.

Alhaji Rahman Owokoniran: he is one of the most respected leader in Lagos politics for his sagacity and calm approach to resolve thorny issues within the PDP and for this, many see him as a true father and worthy ambassador of the party and a force to reckon with anytime politics is mentioned throughout Lagos State and Southwest. A former member of the Lagos State House of Assembly. He is currently the Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party, southwest zone, also former Deputy Chairman of Lagos State PDP. Rahman Akanni Owokoniran has been around since the Second Nigerian Republic. Owokoniran was part of the formation of the Unity Party of Nigeria, UPN, on whose platform he became a member of Lagos State House of Assembly in 1983. He moved to Alliance for Democracy (Nigeria), AD, and was appointed Chairman, Lagos State Local Government Council Creation Committee, which created twenty LGAs and seventeen LCDAs. He was appointed Commissioner for Housing (2003) and then Commissioner for Chieftaincy and Boundary Affairs (2006). His experience as the Chairman of local government council creation that gave birth to the 37 LCDAs makes him a walking encyclopedia of how Lagos is structured by local government areas and hardly will you mention remote areas in Lagos and key people that matters there without him knowing one or two things about them. His connections too across boards too is an added advantage to the PDP having served under the ruling party in key positions. Combining these sterling qualities of this political sage together makes Alhaji Rahman Owokoniran the man PDP must treat with utmost respect and dignity
A political scientist by training, Alhaji Owokoniran has B.A in Political Science, and Master’s of Public Administration rom, both from the Eastern Washington University, Cheney, Washington State, USA.
