Politics › Saraki's Eyes Now On 2019 - Senator Misau! by tomakint(op): 1:13am On Apr 05, 2016
The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Navy, Senator Isa Hamma Misau (APC, Bauchi Central), said yesterday that Senate President, Bukola Saraki, is looking beyond his case at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), and working towards 2019.
Reacting to a report entitled “Ndume, Adamu, Ekweremadu eye Saraki’s seat”, Misau said the CCT case was dead, and that Saraki was in firm control of the Senate, to the extent that he could not be edged out.

“Saraki’s camp is very powerful and even if he is going, he will be the one to determine who succeeds him. We, in his camp, are not thinking of Saraki going, we are thinking of 2019 when he will emerge for the second time and consolidate on the legislative works he is doing. Our thinking is beyond this tenure because of his performance.

“His case at the CCT is political because even those who are with serious cases are moving freely around the country. Saraki’s case is not embezzlement or misappropriation of funds. His is a case of under or over declaration of assets.

“As you know, it is an old case brought forward to pull him down. At what time did they realise that he committed this offence? He was at the Senate in 2011, without immunity, and they didn’t come up with it. Why now when he is the Senate president? But whatever it may be, it is a dead issue,” Misau said in a phone interview.

Saraki’s case at the CCT is coming up tomorrow. He is standing a 13-count charge of false assets declaration while he was governor of Kwara State.

Politics › Re: Why This Fuel Scarcity? And A Few Others. by tomakint: 2:32pm On Apr 04, 2016
Obiagelli:
Its been quite pathetic and a big shame to this government that there has been 3 fuel scarcities in 8 months. The president and his teams should take responsiblity.

WHY THE SCARCITY?
Its no longer news that our sole (90%) earner of foreign exchange is no longer what it used to be.
Nigeria unlike other sane oil producing countries needs to buy finished petrol abroad for its domestic consumption. For this petrol we have to pay in dollars, this is where the problem lies, we simply don't earn (HAVE) enough dollars to match the amount of fuel we consume.
Oil is selling for $40 dollars a barrel, we barely break even as agaist the cost of production, some reports even claim we are making losses while others say we can' find buyer.

End in sight?

I doubt there is an end to this crisis in the short term except we do one of these crazy things
a. Deplete our foriegn reserves importing fuel

b. Spend all our foriegn income importing fuel (no more projects or raw materials)

c. Devalue the naira, open the market and sell fuel for around 200 -250 naira per liter.

Kachikwu and not so Kachikwu

This minister like the cbn governor and the minister for power are truely on the hot seat.
The minister recently experimented with the idea of the NNPC importing fuel 100%, thereby cutting off the oil cabal from forex round triping but as expected the cabals fought back, today we are back to 40 - 30 - 30 formula.

Ministries of misinformation

I am glad Lai mohammed has kept queit on this matter, since he does not seem to have full grasp of the problem. (someone needs to sack femi adesina)

Payback time

Like they say, when you fail to plan, you plan to fail, if for 30yrs we have not build a single refinery, then we are really sick people, had we functional refineries with extra capacity, we wont queue for fuel (even @ $0 a barrel).

For 30yrs we didnt upgrade our transmission lines for electricity and we kept quiet as citizens expecting light

For 30 years we didnt build standard guage rails safe for Abuja- kaduna route and we wonder why our roads are bad

For 30 years we didnt improve our food crop seedlings, we didnt think of ranch farming and we expect food security.

For 30 years we didnt equip our military and decentralize the police and we expect security.

We are simply paying for allowing bad leadership because we probably have the worst followership in the world.

You can choose the next 30 yrs voting and supporting bad leaders, you will continue to suffer it. I read some young people clamouring for a Saraki presidency in 2019 DEM SWEAR FOR UNA?
If this is really the obiagelli I used to know then one more thing is needful.....change your signature! wink and oh lest I forget, GOOD MORNING!

Christianity Etc › Christians Beware: It Can Happen Again! by tomakint(op):
Turkey is in the present day Europe and partly in Asia.

•Apostle Paul was a citizen of Turkey because Tarsus exists in Turkey.

•Christianity existed in Turkey for about 1,023 years while Christianity has only existed in Nigeria and Ghana for 172yrs starting from when Rev. Birch Freeman came to Badagry in 1842.

•The seven churches Jesus spoke to in Revelations 2 & 3 (Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis,Philadelphia and Laodicea,) existed in the old Turkey.

•The disciples were first called Christians in Turkey (Antioch)

•Turkey once had the largest Christian auditorium in Europe called Hagia Sophia in Constantinople.

•Mary the mother of Jesus was taken to Turkey by Apostle John and till date, her room has become a tourist centre.

TURKEY TODAY

•Present day Turkey now has 96% muslims & 0.02% Christians (less than 130,000).

•The Hagia Sophia (once largest church in Europe) was taken over by muslims and converted to a mosque for over 400yrs and later used as an Islamic Museum

WHY CHRISTIANITY COLLAPSED IN TURKEY

•Emphasis on doctrinal differences weakened the Turkish church.

•Rivalries amongst denominations

•Petty politics in church coupled with ethnic biases.

•The Turks were building big cathedrals instead of building men.

HOW IT HAPPENED

•Osman Ghazi discovered the disunity amongst Christians and used it to fight a Jihad that led to a mass genocide of the Armenians, the Hellen and Turks of that day. In fact, the weapon of war used was designed by a Turkish Christian.

•Many Christian women converted to Islam to save their lives and some were raped and killed
.
•Osman Ghazi started the Ottoman empire which gave muslims political post and made it a religion of the state.

IS NIGERIA/GHANA HEADING THE WAY OF TURKEY

•Virtually all the mistakes the church in Turkey made, the Nigerian/Ghanaian church have made it.
•We are building Cathedrals at the expense of discipling men.
•Disunity amongst churches
•Ethnicity in the church
•Denominational rivalry, etc.
•Sharp division along doctrinal lines

MORE FACTS

•The spiritual foundation of Turkey is stronger than that of Nigeria/ Ghana and Christianity existed for over 1000yrs in Turkey unlike ours which is just 172yrs but Islam Radicalism uprooted it. If it can happen in Turkey, it can also happen IF we are not careful.

•The menace of Boko Haram has destroyed a lot of churches in the Northern Nigeria and it may take another 200yrs to evangelize Borno State alone.

•There is a secret agenda to Islamize Nigeria and other African nations as contained in Abuja declaration of 1989.
DON'T SAY IT CAN'T HAPPEN HERE, IF WE DON'T RIGHT OUR WRONGS AS A CHURCH.
SOLUTION

•HEART-FELT Intercession

•Aggressive evangelism- the terrorist reached out to the youths in the norths first and gave them AK-47 and bombs, if we had reached out to them on time, they'll be carrying BIBLES today.

•Mission support:-God is holding the church responsible for Boko Haram, yet we are blaming the government. If we had supported missions and missionaries, we would have those insurgents to Christ long ago.

•Unity of the church is key in winning this battle. The last but not the least christians should be actively involve in politics.

Enough of these muslims political office holder with Islamic agenda.

ARISE CHURCH & LETS DO THE NEEDFUL!!!
Please, send to Bishops, General Overseers, Pastors,Christian whatsapp groups and all Christians on your contacts list.

As an adult. You dont just support people because they ask you to. If you were an investigator or police detective, you just dont believe any alleged criminals story and stand with him because he pleads with you.

So coming to the point. We know that even Jesus christ will not solve Nigerias problems in 10 years and when one is recovering from a broken leg it takes time for the person to get used to walking but at least there is visible progress and the doctor makes you understand the plan and route to recovery so you can understand how far down you have gone in the recovery process.

So please mister can u tell me the plan to restore nigeria by this APC government and let me know how far down we are on that road. Mind you am not interested in current hardship we are facing now cos even a pregnant woman endures pain but pain with a purpose. So please can you give me the economic blueprint of the current APC government. Lets discuss the path we are on in this nation. You wil find out that by the time you think of these things you will see that the only tangible thing you have is hope, just hope that Buhari will pan out good. But success is not built by careless hope but by excellent plans.
God bless you bro and may you and your generations eat the good of the land. Buhari has no business fixing Nigeria (you can quote me on this one after 4 years); a government with no Marshal Plan but only feeds their imbecilic followers with more propaganda is going no where. A government despite being entrusted with the future of an ailing Nation but keeps trading blames with past government has no business fixing Nigeria. A President who is very tribal and with archaic mode of governance cannot meet up with the pace of today's style of governance and to cap it up, a President surrounded by men of shady characters that we all know (Atiku, Tinubu, Fashola, Amaechi, El-Rufai, Obasanjo, and other rich thieves) can NEVER take Nigeria out of her woods.

Oh Wizkid...what a child! (my response ...hehe)
Source: Linda Ikeji's Blog .

So my darling little 'friend' Wizkid came on my IG page this morning to blast me for writing yesterday that he was given quit notice at the Lekki home he claimed he bought some years ago, which he actually rented. He threatened to beat me up...called me an ugly old bitch...(I'm ugly? lol) says I don't have a man (crying over that..) and called my mum a loser...(what a child).

Anyway, all that don't matter, people have said worse to me...what I wanted to address is the part where he said I slept with his director and he left me in a hotel...that one I will definitely want to address because some people actually believe it. That my dear friends, is a lie! Please continue...

First and foremost, I've never met Wizkid one on one. I've only seen him once in real life on stage at a show a few years ago. I've never met anybody who is his director. Guess he put that line in his comments to defame me. You that mad that people now know the house is not yours? Lol.

Trust me, if I knew someone was Wizkid's director, I'd rather kill myself than sleep with him or any other entertainer for that matter (except maybe he's my husband..hehe) because I know how some of these entertainers are...they kiss and tell a lot. You can't afford to be messing around in their circle. So, no, I have NEVER slept with Wizkid's director. I live a celibate life..most of the time. (Though, that has to end soon...I'm getting old and missing out on that part of life...lol)

I've always been an advocate of women respecting their bodies and owning their own. And I feel sex should only happen when you're in committed relationship (that is if you can't wait till marriage) and I recommend celibacy for a long as you're not committed to someone. There's absolutely no dignity in sleeping around and messing around with different men. It's ugly and God don't like ugly. So no, I'm not that woman, and will never be that woman. Nice try, Wizkid!

Having said that, I'm sure, you wonder why Wizkid is so mad at me? To be honest, I don't know either. All I know is that his beef with me started a long time ago but he decided to start bashing me online after I refused a meeting with him. A few months ago, he asked his PR people to contact me, that he wanted to talk to me. For some reason, he thought I didn't like him and I was hurting his image online. He wanted to see how I could write more positive things about him but I turned down the meeting. Not that I have anything against him, I sincerely don't! I think he's an amazing talent and one of the few music stars in Nigeria with a midas touch. So this wasn't personal. I just didn't want to meet him. If he lobbies me then it means I won't be able to write anything about him anymore...and my job is to write...about everything, including entertainers.

I am cordial with some of them...many of them I have never met. I try to stay away from gatherings where they are because the more friends you make in the entertainment industry, the less you can write. And that will inadvertently affect your work. The few ones that I call acquaintances, it's hard to write about them because you feel you're cool with them and even when you write, they call you to complain. So, the fewer 'friends' I have in the entertainment industry, the better my job will be.

So Wizkid can bash me all he wants...but I will continue to do my job. Maybe he thinks the more he bashes me, then I will stop writing about him? Won't work. But meanwhile, if he tells a lie about me, I will address it. LIB plans to be around for a long time...some of these people will come and go! :-).

Thanks everyone and Wizkid's fans for reading my response.

Oh and by the way, did I mention that his Porsche car is also on hire purchase? Oh shit, I just mentioned that! And no, darling, you're not 25! We know your real age! Continue to have an amazing career while I watch and continue to celebrate you.

Kisses

If by May 29th, 2017 they refuse to hands off totally from this same "subsidy" they initially tagged "fraud" under Jonathan then I can rightly conclude that Buhari's government is a huge FRAUD on Nigerians.

My uncle? Pray tell, what tribe am I from? My laziness? I laugh at your ignorance. You barely know someone and yet u talk like this? Amazing!
if you feel Nigerian engineers won't find ways to mess things up even with the highest safety precaution computers can be programmed to induce I can only applaud your patriotic zeal but refuse to exchange words with someone who knows not how to talk civilly.
Every child even grown ups love a good toy or a new machine but they do not necessarily know how to maintain its health.
The Nigerian Airways and other projects failed for a common reason and none of mine was nowhere nearby. Nittel failed for d same reason, NEPA and NNPC with all its refiniaries are failing even now for that reason.

The nature of the uranium isotopes, plutonium or even the, heavy fuels that are by-products of d nuclear reactions of generating power, oh man let's just forget those, too deadly...... let's just take the tons of water required to cool the reactor and maintain its temperature. if even a small cup of that water finds its way into underground water source people will be catching cancer for a hundred miles around!!
Don't u understandhuh??
u can study nuclear engineering here in Nigeria, get weapon grade uranium in bauchi state but that nuclear plant, after bringing in Russia and Japan to build it for a 00 billion dollars, will go d way of all Nigerian projects.
what way do u think that is? Chew on that and be wise.
You have a nice night
You spoke absolutely my mind.....like someone rightly observed in the eyes of these jesters, Buhari can never go wrong and this is just where the madness in these clowns begin from. Nuclear energy from my last research is the most expensive to build and maintain source of power generation and from my last research, hydrothermal method (the one we are using) is the cheapest to build and maintain yet Nigeria keeps hovering from 2,000mw to 4,000mw to 5,000mw down to 1,980mw......the question is, if Nigeria cannot get it right with common hydrothermal (which India, Pakistan, Indonesia used to power their economies up to optimal results before attempting Nuclear energy) is it with Nuclear that comes with radio active elements like uranium and plutonium that are carcinogenic in nature that Nigeria wants to run with? Indeed these zombies are blind bats intellectually. Thumbs up to you bro for educating that mallam.
