Hello, please i also checked my application through tracker and I noticed biometrics is still on progress and I submitted since January…..though I’ve done the biometrics before and is still valid, not up to 10years.please should I be worried?



You should contact VFS for confirmation of submission of biometrics and raise a webform to Upload it ASAP. Upload as much proof of submission as possible and query why the message shows on your application when you have biometrics number and expiry

So I just picked up my passport from VFS. Below is my application timeline for those who are submitting for visit/tourist visa.

Application submitted- July 9, 2023
Biometrics completed at VFS Lagos - July 17, 2023
Biometrics validity letter - July 29, 2023
PPR - July 29, 2023
Passport submission at DHL in Gbagada - July 29, 2023
Eligibility completed: August 10, 2023
Passport pickup email from VFS Lekki - August 10, 2023

The process, from the day I submitted to the day I picked up my passport took 1 month and 1 day . What God cannot do doesn't exist. I am still in awe of how fast this was because I am not even planning to travel this year, my application says I will be traveling for summer in June 2024.

I do not have any family/relative in Canada. This is my first application.

Yes you can use both, once it reflects your name.

7m is very okay n 4months is fine if ders no lump sum. She should submit any document that will help with home tie.

If the brother is sponsoring her 5k cad is fine just to show she’s doing well in naija. If she’s sponsoring herself 10k cad is cool.

That depends on how long she wanna stay, where she is visiting, how many dependents she has and some other factors

Well don to all the gurus answering and helping peeps here. We have finally received PPR for my spouse.

Application date - Aril 12th 2023
BVL - July 10 2023
PPR - July 10 2023

Although no Visa details on his tracker just like some people has said but on application status, it says the Final decision has been taken and Visa has been approved.

I have sent the passport today via DHL i cannot wait and do not expect any contrary news.

Wishing all the hopefuls a successful decision.

The VO probably felt something fishy n needed to be sure before making a decision. You’re lucky, some VO don’t have chills, he/she would have rejected the application.

If you’re traveling alone 4m sud be okay depending on your purpose and duration.
