It doesn't really matter, we never once said you guys didn't contribute to the development of Lagos, the hausas did too, as well as an ijaw man, in big and many small ways but the demographics of Lagos state can never be put aside and as well it's geographical location. All what we the yorubas are saying is that the igbos shouldn't lay any claim to the state other that your purchased property(s), the state have bn occupied long before the britsh came by the aworis, ijebus, ibadan and egbas and other Yoruba groups which hold 80% of the population, even Abuja as it is now has it's own indegeneous people, just that they have bn absolved due to religious beliefs and even at that no other tribe can become the minister of interior other than that hausa/fulanis, so try to get the point my brother

If you don't know just ask and I will teach you. The Ilaje people are a subgroup of the Yoruba ethnic group. They are even considered as one of the core groups of Yoruba land. Their major occupation is fishing which is the reason you will only find them in the coastal areas. They have the largest land area in ondo state, contribute immensely to the purse of the state and yes, they own virtually all oil blocks in te state like those at ayetoro, gbenefa, aboto etc.

Have you ever heard of the Yoruba sub-group called ilajes?........they own 95% of the oil blocks and oil wells in ondo state, the ijaws are only benefiting as a result of proximity and the claim of being Nigerdeltans.

sometimes I see our Christian practises as rubbish and gross hypocrisy...if we still judge and relate wit people on the basis of their tribe or race....

It's true what you say, but I hate it when people who should be more logical and reasonable say it's disgusting for them to marry from another tribe just because of some unfounded reasons. Let's marry who our hearts choose, not because of sentiments and if the marriage should fail, it shouldn't be blamed on the tribe or race because we humans accross all spectrum of races have thesame set of good and bad people living among us

Reading post here i weep for our youths.With this mentality ours will be worst.I and my family will never ever discriminate against culture or religion.Whoever my daughter or son wants to marry.They are free.Have you ever thought what will make your son or daughter bring someone and say this is the one after all the people they have met.If you take a minute and think you will support them.
