Fair enough. The author needs to direct his attention from Kanu to the weak and selfish Igbo leaders we have in positions of power. Why is he here criticising Kanu with regards to Ndigbo's place in the Nigerian polity when Kanu's group isn't even interested in Nigerian politics? Why not go after the people who are actually letting our people down i.e. the likes of Joe Igbokwe, Rotimi Amaechi, Obiano, Okorocha and the
various other Igbo politicians?

Believe me when I say I as a person understand the agitations of the igbo people. Same thing that happened to kanu has happened all over the world before to even greater men. Kanu in some ways was rightly criticized, especially in matters concerning his brethrens still in prison. All his efforts for now should have been focused on their release and not the unnecessary events we've all seen in the past days and moreso, he should be pressing the government in a more matured classical way because as it stands, no matter what happens, the governmwnt would still have the upper hand. Secondly, Mr eze, like you have mentioned should be attacking the igbo leadership because they are still the ones barring the success of the movement but as we'v all known, the leaders are dumb and are in a dilemma because they just don't know which faction to throw their support.

I also want to plead with the igbos, why can't you join ranks with the yorubas to form a formidable front against the northern oligarchs? You can do this if only you would stop being paranoid. You can even develop the whole of the south by linking economies to the envy of the north.

It's such a shame that the majority of youths on this forum are politically unwise. How can it be a crime to voice out your frustration and opinion about the mistake made by the leader of a country? To worsen it all, I shake my head reading some comments here that one cannot disrespect his elders if he is to succeed, now lemme ask; what if the supposed elders continue to not respect themselves and kept on acting unwisely?.......In as much I support self determination, it must be done in a very civilized and democratic process and not by threatening the peace and safety of others.

He wasn't calling for his re-arrest, he only explained what could lead to.

I am of the position ( not that my position matters to people like you ) that homosexuality, fornication and adultery are all sins that had stiff punishment attached to it in the holy books. If we choose to let God punish adulterers as well as fornicators why are we bent on sending homosexuals to jail?

Which would you prefer to be if asked to choose between homosexuality and being straight?.........adultery and fornication are both natural traits of man as a result of lust but homosexuality in all it's dirtiness is above them both as it is unnatural and as well an abomination. It is a tool of the devil used to destroy. Adultery and fornication are used to enslave.

Wat about the unborn generations, look beyond the present and imagine wat would happen if everyone were to become gay or lesb. That they said it is right doesn't make it right. GOD is the ultimate judge though but should we let it destroy our morals before we realize it's danger?

Let me ask you this, between eating through your mouth and nose, which one is natutal? As a person ( I don't know if you are a guy or a girl ), which one is natutal between homosexuality and the God's sanctioned practice? Comparing adultery with homosexuality is wrong, am not trying to justify or exonerate adultery here but homosexuality in itself is more like lying with animals and it is a very unnatural practice in life that taints the soul. All have sinned, but that is not an excuse to say that homosexuality should be allowed to fester in our society. It is not until it is written in the bible before we know believe that God frowns at it.

You are quite right there bro, trump doesn't want to fall for the trap but still there should be other ways to show ur dissagreement rather than the twitter show he's running. Btw, the libyan crises caused a spillover directly in mali but the nigerian story was an exploit by our politician to achieve an aim. I would boldly state that no nigerian participated in the libyan crises as it withnessed more of the tauregs 4rm mali, our politicians only use the avenue to acquire cheap weapos to give some jobless nutcases to cause problem to the then nigeria administration and even if they weren't able to get them, they would av worked another plan. There are no saints.

I gat your drift... But the agencies got it coming.. in fact, the major reason why the US was voted as the greatest threat to World peace, is due to the covert and overt military and coup interventions and overthrow of lots of legitimate government by the CIA and Co across the globe, since 1953.

What Iraq, Libya and Syria is passing through today was as a result of the same criminal agencies that have wrecked untold havoc across the world. Trump is simply calling a spade a spade, and that's exactly why he was voted in at the first place-saying it as it is.

America is a spoilt apple but those two, especially the chinese are rotten mangoes and btw, america's pedigree and heftiness serves as a balance in the world and as regards trump, he's threading on the skirt of being silenced in america if he is not careful because the institutions and established powers won't let him disrupt their plans, and worse case is that they would use those closest to him to destroy him so he's gat to be very careful and mend the bridge btw him and the intel agencies.

My opinion wasn't about the election but the personality of Donald trump. Even if russia was not the real culprit which i seriously doubt, it still doesn't mean you should back and praise a well knwn foreign adversary at the cost of your own intelligence agencies' credibility. There's no intelligence agency in the world that has never given a false intel, even the soviet union of then gave a wrong intel to the egyptians during the arab-israeli conflict. My point is that why choking the life out of thesame agencies you would still come to rely on to protect and guide you frm the same power you are warming ur hrt to thereby reducing public confidence in the nation's intel agencies and i believe there should be other ways to show your disagreement rather than painting them black in public.
