WHAT do you define as "A WIN: for Russia?

By my own definition, based on the Conditions that Russia has set down, A WIN consist of
1) Ukraine recognising Crimea as part of Russia
2) Recognising Lughansk and Donetsk as independent Countries
3) Destroying all offensive weapons installed by foreign Countries (NATO, E.U) in Ukraine
5) Ukraine declaring to be a NEUTRAL Country, No NATO or EU membership now and in the future.
6) Killing most, if not all Neo-Nazis in Ukrainian military and the National Defense Unit

The above are the WIN Criteria for Russia, once they are acheived and Ukraine is already negotiating on most of these issues, o as to stop the bombardment.

What is a WIN for Russia (or LOSS), from your own point of view?

Meanwhile Zelensky has banned the Main Oppositions party and some other 13 Political Parties in Ukraine, he claims they are showing support for Russia! Now, using Martial Law, he wants to turn Ukraine into a One Party State.
What does that tell us about his "Control and Acceptance" within Ukraine?
All of them are blaming him for starting a War he knows he cant Win, with Russia.

First, I won't count the conditions brought forward by Russia as a win and if at all this was granted, it's as a result of a compromise on the fact that it's the civilian populace that are bearing the brunt of this war, and meanwhile, this single action by Putin has alienated Russia and Russians from most of Europe. The same reason why they initiated this conflict die to their fears will now be brought to bear against them as their neighbors have seen them for who they truly are and would not want to have anything to do with them.

The only option left for the Russians will now be the Chinese who will now lord the advantage over them and become their master, just as North Korea is subservient to China. You can argue all you want about this fact, but the truth is that Putin/Russians are stuck in between proving their worth as a great power or face humiliation as their prestige in the committee of great nations have fallen short. To tell you how far they have fallen, the Americans are even disappointed with the way the Russians have conducted themselves, and the Chinese have seen that the Russia is only an empty barrel, hiding behind the huff'n'puff of Vladimir Putin.

If you pay attention, you would understand that Russia employs the use of long range artilleries to supplement the limited advantage they have in the air, that's why they mostly use missiles or the indiscriminate use of artillery fire.

I agree with you Sir, that it is not all smooth sailing for Russia.
The Air Defense Systems you are referring to are Stinger Missiles, Sabre Missiles (UK) and one other one whose name ran off my head now.
True, Ukraine was supplied a lot of these Missiles but the downside of these Weapons is that they have limited Range!
This si Why Russia's military Convoy refused to move into RANGE of the Ukrainians, for almost TWO WEEKS and everyone thought they were "stalled or damaged or out of Petrol".
They were trying to stay out of Range. But Ukraine has used them to good effect and destroyed a lot of Russian Tanks with them. Their range is around 5Kms. You can also see that the Ukrainians are launching them from Civilian High Rise Buildings, to give them longer range advantage and Russia is bombing those Civilian High Rise Buildings, in Return.

But Russian Jets (except where they come close to the ground, at the initial stage of the battle) are mostly too far in the Air for such Missiles to be of any effect moreover, Russia has destroyed majority of those weapons, in their storage, before they could put them to use.

But when we talk about "Air Superiority", it is usually a battle between your fighter Jets (Attack Mode) and your Air Defence Systems (Like Patriot Missiles, in Defense Mode).
Ukraine doe snot have functioning one at the Moment, Russia has destroyed all of them.
Poland is not sending the 27 MiG Fighters it promised (that is the only Type of Planes Ukrainian Fighter Pilots can operate, they cant use American Fighter Planes like the F-16)
Patriot Missiles were installed in NATO countries yesterday but not in Ukraine. Russia is monitoring the movements of all these Weapons and once they enter Ukraine, Russia destroys them with Missiles.

America needs to provide a "face-saving" path to surrender, with their Dignity still intact, for Ukraine otherwise, Russia will bomb them to surrender. You can hear Zelensky, who before now was calling Putin a Criminal and all sort of names and saying he will win the War. now begging for a Negotiation! Why do you want to negotiate, if you can defeat your enemy?
Ofcourse, Russia is stylishly ignoring him and continuing with their military Operation.

The honest truth about these events is that the Russians were stalled because they were being picked at by the Ukrainians in a guerilla format, so their suppys and the rest are being taken out. The on another side, the weather isn't helping as well and due to the tonnage of Russia's armour, most are stuck in the mud and are easily picked out. Now they have changed tatic by spreading out and trying to encircle Kyiv but even that is still proving difficult for them, plus the west is determined to mine every turn for Putin and make this adventure costly for him.

How are Ukranians "still fighting on"?
When they cant even have a SINGLE Fighter Jet in the Air?
Do you call that one "fighting on" or "slow Suicide"?

Western Propaganda wants us to believe they are "fighting on" when infact, they are "dying off".
They told us Putin cannot reach Mariupol, he did.
They told us he cant reach Odessa, he took it
They told us Lviv is too far in the West and he cant reach there, Russia did and took Lviv.
They told us Kiev is a fortress, now the Capital is under severe bombardment from the Air and may fall into surrender soon and the war will be over.

Russia used Hypersonic Missles TWICE in this War.
1) First, to let the Americans know that their Patriot Missles being deployed in Poland cannot stop or protect Ukrainians or any other country (That Missile flies at Nine times the Speed of Sound and current Air Defenses like the Patriot Missiles cannot blow it up, it is just too fats for them!. Russia is the first Country to use it in War, China, America and Russia were in an Arm's Race to see who will be the first to manufacture hypersonic Missiles but it looks like Russia won that Race though, America may have it but at least, it has not used if for all to see.)

2) Russia fired the Hypersonic Missile from Odessa Port, Thousands of Kilometers in the South East part of Ukraine, to hit a Military Depot in the North West of Ukraine and an Air field in Kiev, the Capital on the Western side of Ukraine. This is to let Zelenskyy and NATO know that it can reach and destroy ANYWHERE within Ukraine, anywhere it wants. It is a show of force and the WEST is taking note.

Once again, No Offense, l just wanted to point out a few things.

And please sir, permit me to correct some points here;

First, Odessa is still with the Ukrainians and the missle was fired from either the airspace over the black sea, or a ship out in the sea and far from the shores of Odessa.

Secondly, the Russians are finding it hard to operate their maned aircrafts within the Ukrainian airspace because theirs a huge number of them that have fallen due to the portable air defences employed by the Ukrainians.

Thirdly, they won't dare venture into Kyiv without first flattening it with bombing,and besides, Kyiv have always been bombarded since the onset of the war so it doesn't make a difference. Take for instance mauripol. That city have been turned to a pole of concrete rubles from non stop bombardedment, and the Russians have still been able to capture some neighborhood, so it has not been easy on the Russians as well.

To be honest, I empathize with the Ukrainians and salute their bravery to withstand the might of the Russian military. But of a truth, even the Russians blundered and disappointed even their worst critic and degraded their respect and terror amongst peers and near peers in the standing of nations.

I dont want to go into any abusive language but let me explain to you and others, how "War is won from the Air" as that person was referring to:

Modern War of today, year 200+, is different from the Wars of Hitler's time in the 1940's.
- In TODAY's War, you knock off theEnemy's Air defenses, to give your own planes a Free reign in the Air (Russia did that)
- Then you first bomb the Air Fields of the enemy, to prevent their own War planes from taking off (Russia did that)
- Then you bomb the Weapons Storage Depots of the Enemy from the Air, to deny them "re-supply" of weapons (Russia did that in Ukraine)
- Then you bomb out most of the Enemy's infrastructure (Water, Electricity, Internet, even Food Storage) in other to weaken the resolve of the enemy to fight. Hungry and Thirsty Soldiers dont fight battles! (Russia did part of that but was reluctant to go further, because of its shared History with Ukrainians)

Once you have done all the above from the Air, you then send in Ground Forces to do "Mop-Up Operations" and clear any remaining resistance..
This will ensure that your Human Loses are kept at a minimum.

Ukraine wants, and was hoping for a Ground Battle but Russia is destroying and killing its Soldiers from the Air, that is why he is desperately appealing for Fighter Jets and asking that a No-Fly Zone be declared and enforced by NATO. But NATO will not do that, Russia is a major Nuclear Power Country, they remember that always.

During Hitler's War that you mentioned, you will hear that One Million Soldiers get killed in battle but no one even has One Million "Infantry Soldiers" to send into battle nowadays. Wars have gone Hi-Tech and are won in the Air first, before any Ground Battle.

Russia have not been able to attain air superiority in the course of this war because of the portable air defence platforms in use by the Ukrainians, and besides, the more sophisticated air defences platforms belonging to the Ukrainians have not been entirely neutralised so, it has given the Russians a hard time effectively fighting from the Ukrainian airspace. Instead, they employ the use of artilleries and long range missile to achieve most of their aims. Most of theor sorties are carried out either from their own airspace, Belarus's, or out from the black sea when they fly in from Crimea.

And as for those who are championing that Russia have never invaded a peaceful country before and it's only the west that does that. Let me take you back some decades, the Soviet union in 1939 under the leadership of Joseph Stalin, invaded Peaceful Finland because they refused to give up their land for him to put some boots, and he got a bloody nose for that, just as Putin is receiving now. First of, the Ukrainians are doing well enough with the little they have got, even though they are outmatched.

Secondly, the Russ started the war on the wrong foot and this has caused them a whole lot of embarrassment as it has exposed their weaknesses to the west and reduced their terror in the hearts of the westerners.

Thirdly, they have exposed their hands and more than enough times, their warfare tactics, weaponry and all that sort.

Fourth, they have created an enmity between themselves and the Ukrainians for generations to come and just as zelensky have said, it will take a whole lot to forget this event. It will be written in the folklore of the Ukrainians, and these are proud and unforgiving people.

Fifth, Russia and the Russians have now been effectively locked out of the world's wealth due to one man's pride and insecurities.

Sixth, the west, and primarily the USA is using this plot to degrade and drain Russia and Putin, letting him to make more mistakes that will turn him to a stench and an untouchable in world affairs.

Lastly, Russia is the toothless Bulldog in this fight. They lost the plot the moment the invaded Ukraine which was a trap set for their failure. He dare not strike further than the borders of Ukraine because NATO is actually ready and waiting for Putin to make that fatal mistake so that they can finish him once and for all. That will allow them refocus on China and tame her.

To those who are in support of Russia's (Putin) aggression against Ukraine, I pray you experience the fear and restlessness of the Ukrainians at the crosshair. I am not saying this because I am pro-west, I say this because I am against the wanton destruction of lives and property just on the basis of paranoia and insecurity. I believe we will all agree that the Ukrainians have the right to join any association or group they see fit for their national development and wealth. So also, we can agree that it is immoral for one to rise against his neighbour out of jealousy and desire to tie him down with you even though you have got nothing to make him want to be with you anymore. This is a simple case of a jealous lover who is angry about the fact that his/her ex have moved on with a better partner.

Just to brush up history, the west and the Russians have fought many wars between themselves, from eons till these present times so it is not new, and the west have always considered the Russians inferior even before modern times.

But the cause of this crisis, just as I said earlier, is due to Putin's fear, insecurity even from within his own architecture, paranoia, and a dream to expand Russia's borders. Because It doesn't make any sense that a high statesman like him would question the legitimacy, and the right to existence of a sovereign nation.
