And for all those asking about booking appointment elsewhere like Ghana, they also have the same problem now. August to October are all fully booked. Plus they handle ONLY Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone, NOT Nigerian applications.
And i realise their system in Ghana is TOTALLY DIFFERENT AND A BIT STRAIGHT FORWARD from ours

IN OTHER NEWS... GOAT GIVES BIRTH TO HALF HUMAN IN GHANA

Residents of Asuodei in the Ahafo Ano South District of the Ashanti Region been thrown into panic over the birth of a lamb they say has a human-like face.
The traditional authority has scheduled special rituals to be performed to cleanse the land of possible curse, after a special burial of the creature.
Chief of the predominantly farming community, Nana Druye Adarkwa the second, called for the creature to his palace minutes after it was delivered on Saturday.
A meeting of the traditional council was held before burial Sunday.
The chiefs and the people fear the presence of the creature could bring calamity to the community.
Nana Druye Adarkwa the second tells Nhyira FM the creature cannot be taken for an ordinary sheep.
According to him, the lamb has eyes, eyebrows, mouth and nose which look like a human being.
He believes the rituals will mitigate any bad omen that may befall him and his people.
Nana Druye has since sent emissaries to search for the owner of the sheep, pending performance of the rituals.

FamilyRe: She Told Me A Very Dark Secret, Should I Still Marry Her? by tomshare16: 5:02pm On Jul 22, 2017
Wait oo.. You wanted to have sex with her.. She said no.. You later find out she eventually had sex with someone else when YOU broke up with her.. And you are madhuh? Really?? From your writeup, you seem really hooked up on sex, which is a problem. why is that some guys think its ok to sleep around but a crime for a woman to also sleep around? when you insisted on sleeping with her, why did you think she was barred from doing so with others.... Because im sure you had sex with others even while dating her and after you broke up...
so why do you think it was wrong for her to change her mind and do some
You impregnated someone and she also got impregnated by someone else, so why are you holding a higher moral standard against her? Both of you are the same. You cant play the victim here oo..
Yes, she told you no sex... but you broke up with her. She had sex with someone.. Maybe she felt guilty after that. The fact that you are with her now doesn't mean she still cant say no.. Until youve put a ring on her finger and paid her dowry, she has the right to say no.
UNTIL YOU CAN CALL A WOMAN "YOUR WIFE", IF YOU HAVE SEX WITH HER BEFORE MARRIAGE, DONT CRY WHEN SHE HAS SEX WITH OTHERS TOO.. IF YOU WANT IT, WAIT TILL YOU PUT A RING ON IT. If she told you to wait till marriage and you agreed to wait but she slept with someone, then have a legitimate case..
Again listen, SHE FREELY AND WILLINGLY TOLD YOU, not under duress... Not a sign of a lady to keep secrets... I would keep quiet if my woman told me that, especially knowing im also in the same soup.
if your relationship with this lady is only held together by SEX, what will that relationship depend on for survival when the sex is over and becomes boring afterwardshuh
wise up dude... Marry her or let her go... but dont play victim

emmbet:
This issue of comparing Nigeria and Ghana has been over flogged and debated for a very long time.

As a Nigeria currently based in Ghana and married to a Ghanaian lady, I would say that:

Food: It depends on the cook like someone mentioned earlier and we can't factually opine that Nigerian food is better or Ghanaian food is better. But one thing that I know is a fact is that Nigeria has more variety in foods than Ghana.

Security: As the OP mentioned, Ghana is secure not because their security forces are that good but mostly because the crime wave is low and the average Ghanaian is more law abiding than the average Nigerian. They have more respect for constituted authority.
For starters, criminals in Nigeria are much more sophisticated than their Ghanaian counterparts. We have heard stories of robbers using explosives to rob banks in Nigeria but in Ghana, this does not happen. Ghanaian police does not yet have experience of these kind of violent and sophisticated crime operations. In Ghana, most banks don't use revolving doors like banks in Nigeria. Some even still use sliding glass doors.
The Ghanaian police are much more professional and cautious than their Nigerian counterparts. Countless times, they've let me off with just a warning and without paying a bribe.
I have also had a case where I paid for an apartment that was still occupied and after I reported to the Police, they did a professional job and made sure I got back my money.
Also, Ghanaian police does not harrass innocent citizens in checkpoints like Nigerian police. Once they see you respect them and have good manner of approach, you can get away with anything.

Road Networks: Yes it is true that most of the national highways in Ghana are single carriage ways. Roads like Aflao-Tema, Accra-Winneba-Cape Coast-Takoradi all the way to Cote d'Ivoire border are all mostly single carriage.
Also Accra-Kumasi-Kintampo-Tamale-Wale Wale-Bolgatanga till Burkina Faso border at Paga are all mostly single carriage ways. But the amazing thing is that most of these roads are well maintained and in good condition.
Nigeria has better road network than Ghana. Both innercity roads and national highways but Ghanaian highways are more maintained. This fact is not debatable.

Business climate: It is much more easier to run a business in Ghana than Nigeria. Only disadvantage in Ghana is their high capital requirement for foreigners to register business. But in terms of ease of doing business, Ghana is better in all ramifications and with less bureaucracy than Nigeria. When I was registering my company in Ghana, I lost my Tax Id No certificate which was given to me. I was surprised when I walked to the GRA office at Ministries in Accra and explained to someone there. He just asked for my name and checked it on the system and printed a new one for me. He did this within a minute and without asking for egunje.
It is also easier to clear goods from Tema port than it is from Lagos ports.
Startups have more likelihood of surviving in Ghana than in Nigeria and Ghanaian businesses men and women have more access to credit facilities than Nigeria.
The disadvantage in Ghana is that they don't have the population and purchasing power that we have in Nigeria. As a result of the high cost of living in Ghana, most households spend a higher percentage of their income on food alone and will have little or less to spend on other things that they don't consider important.
This is the reason why business moves faster in Nigeria than Ghana.

Cost of living: Ghana has a very high cost of living even with their stable electricity compared to Nigeria. Example, a bottle of coke in Ghana is about 2 cedis (200 naira) but in Nigeria now it is about 70-80 naira (0.7-0.8 cedis).
Also bottle of canned malta guiness goes for 150 naira retail in Nigeria but in Ghana, it is about 3 cedis (300 naira). I actually know a friend that imports drinks from Nigeria to sell in Ghana and he is making a killing from it.
This is the case in other goods and services.
In terms of transport, the fare from point A to point B are the same no matter the time of the day in Ghana unlike in Nigeria where this is not the case and before any increase in transport fares, the transport unions meet and agree on a particular amount to add to a specified route.
Their transport sector is more organized.
Coming to the airlines, they are never late. On many occasions that I have used African World Airlines and Starbow Airlines from Accra to Tamale, they are always on schedule. And even on the Accra-Lagos route, this is the same thing. We cannot say the same of Nigerian airlines like Arikair.

In summary, I would say that both countries have their weak and strong points. If Ghana had the money that Nigeria has earned over the years, they would have done better.
From what I can see, the achievements and heights that Ghana has reached is commensurate with their earnings over the years. They have achieved more with less while Nigeria has achieved less with much.

Just my 2 cents.
NOW THIS IS A WELL WRITTEN OPINION PIECE... OPINIONATED BUT STILL REALISTIC, SINCERE AND STAYS TRUE TO THE FACTS. Not what the skewed thread that was started to mock Ghana... again i say, Nigeria shd mind our own business oo and let our leaders use our billions for better things so we actually become the Nigeria we have to be, not the Nigeria we think we are...
TravelRe: Living In Ghana, My Experience. by tomshare16: 9:18pm On Jul 19, 2017
this your article is hugely opinionated (you can be a bit realistic whiles stating opinions) and has many factual inaccuracies.. Tamale is the most populous regionhuh errhhuh.. Im born and bred Port Harcourt guy, but have schooled in Ghana and travelled wide. They have some great meals (their rice is not that bad as you make it look), the people are far more law abiding, their politics better than ours and their media is very open and free. They have credible Unis (compare the number of us Nigerians in Ghana Unis vrs Ghanaians in Nigerian Unis). I have travelled on many world class streets and highways in Ghana. that country is quickly developing and their ecomony is expanding.
Yes they love nigerian songs and movies but which country doesnt.
im not a Ghana ambassador but what is this thing Nigerians Aaaaaalways want to talk down Ghana even at no provocation. Dont we have our own business to mind. Dont we have oir own PMB matters. Or is it a case of your neighbor hates you because you prosper?
We have bigger economy than Ghana (our oil reserves faaaaaarrr outnumbers theirs) but shouldnt we rather be ashamed that a country as small as Ghana with small money can still do they do and Naija with all our billions is still a deep sleeping so called gaint??

Why apply for short term visa?. You see that's the reason you were denied

If your interest is to do Foundation course which I believe is studienkolleg. Why not just apply for student visa this time around?
I believe you will get the visa this time around since your interest is to learn German and study later on.
ok, great, thanks.... but i didnt even mention the foundation thing or submit it since i lost interest in it entirely.. im only now thinking of using it

No it's hard to approve a language visa though some people do get language visas provided that they have conditional admission from a university or institution in Germany.

Can you write the transcript of how the interview went. Maybe it could be from the answers you gave them
I actually have a conditional admission from a Prep school in Magdeburg to do a one year foundation program. but on the letter they gave, it stated that i was going to learn German language up to B1 level in and continue the foundation program in September.
But looking at the time schedule (especially the length of the long term visa process), i decided to just apply for short term visa to do A2 this August-September (i have A1) and come back to apply for a school for Summer semester 2018

She first asked me what my trip was.. i said for visit (she never asked anything relating to Hamburg or my schedule once there)

To whom- I mentioned the person's name and that she was a friend of my family for 35 years

If the person was married and had children- i said she was married with two children but only knew the name of one child.

was asked if i had seen the person before- said no but only pics and phone calls

She then asked what i do- told her i am a student, just finished Language School and would like to study in Germany later. (never asked when)

she asked what would become of the language course- i said i would be back to continue

she then asked if i was traveling with my brother (who has been there several times)- i said yes and that he was only escorting me since he knew the Person and her family better and also knew his way around Hamburg (he was going for just 2wks)

He asked what my brother did (since he was paying for our tickets but the German friend was taking care of all other expenses)- i said he manages an international sports NGO that manufactures handmade balls
And that was it
TravelRe: General German Visa Enquiries Part 3 by tomshare16: 5:24am On Jun 21, 2017
Hello...
my Visit Visa application was refused today. I was invited by a German friend (my mom's long time friend) for 3momths visit to hamburg. I have studied and passed A1 German language and she wanted me to experience Hamburg. My elder brother, who was born in Germany and has been there SEVERAL times (including January 2017) was also refused the visa (he was going for only a few weeks). Their reason were that
1. Justification for the purpose and intended stay was not provided
2. Intention to leave the territory before visa expiration could not be ascertained.
WHAT DO YOU THINK I DID WRONG.. (please note i had All stated documents INCLUDING a Formal Obligation letter). Should i have done something extra....

Secondly, i now want to apply for a language visa of 3months to study for the A2 course in Berlin or Hamburg. Do you think it is advisable? Would they approve a 3months language visa? (since i heard it has to be 6months- i stand to be corrected). What should i do correctly to get a visa this time..?
thanks

THIS IS THE LATEST UPDATE. THE GUY IS A RICH CEO OF A BREAD COMPANY AND DUMELO HAD NO IDEA
John Dumelo on Saturday 20 th May, 2017, posted a picture of a young man dressed in apron, holding polythene bags supposedly packed with pastries.
This was his text to the picture: “Just saw a knust grad hawking in traffic.. what went wrong?”
This did not go well with A Plus. On his Facebook timeline, he asked John Dumelo to pull down the post.
“I’m angry!!! Everyday I post my opinion. Today I’m posting my anger. John Dumelo remove this post from Instagram now!!! A bread seller is a human being. On John’s post on Instagram page, one of his followers, adisongyedu also wrote: “It look like since you started following NDC, things are turning negatively.”
Sir_jones 170 also wrote a comment thus: “And so what? At least he didn’t go robbing people neither did he go duping SUGAR MUMMIES to survive. Shame.”
However, a comment by Samuel Awaitey, on A Plus’s Facebook post suggests the gentleman that was purported to have been hawking in John Dumelo’s post, is actually the Chief Executive Officer of a bakery company which produces A1 bread.
“This guy is one of the richest young guys in Ghana, he is CEO and employs over 200 people in kumasi, the CEO of Bakers line gh Ltd produces of A1 Bread, and part owner of kumasi branch of KONA. This did not go well with A Plus. On his Facebook timeline, he asked John Dumelo to pull down the post.
“I’m angry!!! Everyday I post my opinion. Today I’m posting my anger. John Dumelo remove this post from Instagram now!!! A bread seller is a human being. You can’t just take pictures of people and post it on your page for attention. A bread seller has right which must be respected. A bread seller is better than an armed robber!!! A bread seller is better than a drug dealer!!! It’s better for a person to hawk on the streets than to indulge in crime. I’m looking for this bread seller. John Dumelo must apologise to him. Or prepare for a legal battle!!!” he posted on Facebook.
You don’t know him and you cast ur doubt on him, he is the big guy, my guy check him very well, ask ur celebrities who is kwaku Vito O.Boateng. He is my boss, he parked his array of cars to promote his brand in Accra and you don’t know poo, this boy go fit employ you Dumelo,” Awaitey disclosed in his comment.
Since the issue broke, one big topic that has been reignited is the propriety or otherwise of graduates to do jobs that are generally perceived to be for the less-educated.
