The man can't get anything from the north [Nothern candidates will take all the votes]

Nothing from the igbos [Orji Uzor Kalu will take the votes]

Yoruba ----- he still has to share

South South ----- he still has to share with PDP [Gov Goodluck of Bayelsa state is PDP VP candidate]

How can he expect to win huhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuh

dblock:
the Yorubas should vote for Utomi, the people from the south south should aswell, ans as long as 20% of Northern Nigerian's vote for him, He'll win

If:
80%Yorubas vote for him, 95%Niger Deltans vote for him and 20% Northerns vote for him

He'll most likely win
dblock

come on men !!

Utomi can't get 95% of Niger Delta vote. Some Niger Deltans are going to vote for Gov Goodluck's party (PDP)

How are you sure Utomi will get 80% yoruba vote ? Don't you think some will want to stay loyal to OBJ ?

If Utomi can't get the North's vote and he can only get some Yoruba and South South vote (not even the entire south) ---his chances are very dim !!!!

OK dblock.

Check this out.

The igbos are going to vote for Orji Kalu right ?

The South South People ----- some will vote PDP (because of gov. goodluck) and Utomi

The North -------- Northern candidate

Now tell me, does Utomi stand a chance (please be honest)
PoliticsRe: Pat Utomi For President In 2007? by Tonim(f): 6:12am On Mar 24, 2007
If Atiku plans a coup, he is a dead man !!

No one will support his govt in the international community, that is not even debatable.

The southerners in the National Assembly will impeach him out.

I hope he does not dare do such a thing.

I am telling you, people don't care !!! All they want is for their tribesman to be in power.

That is Nigeria for you !!

and of all the northerners that ruled this country, how many achieved anything?
Go to Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Sokoto, Yola, Minna and so on.

Go and tell them that they should vote for Utomi because "all the northerners that ruled this country, how many achieved anything ?"

and see if Utomi would become president
PoliticsRe: Pat Utomi For President In 2007? by Tonim(f): 6:03am On Mar 24, 2007
dblock,

I understand where you are coming from, and believe me, you make a lot of sense.

But Nigerians are very very tribalistic. I am telling you guys, people are going to vote based on where a candidate is from, not what he/she has to offer as a candidate.

No matter what accomplishment a southerner is bringing to the table, the northerners are going to vote for a northern candidate next month.

Like I said earlier, I am not God, but I forsee the future on this one.

To me, I think the fact that he is not a northerner really works against him. If he was a Northerner as bright as he is, he could definately become president this year.

The south has been ruling for the past 8 years and the north will not settle for anything less than a Northern president.

There are 3 northern candidates for president - Buhari, Yar Adua and Atiku, and you think the northern voters will by pass them and vote for a northern

vice president ? Especially considering the fact that we have had a president from the south for the past 8 years ? Sorry, but this is not happening.

People, listen.

Lets not fool ourselves. Utomi is a brilliant man, no doubt, but how can he be president without the Northern support ? The north is going to vote overwhelmingly for northern candidates next month, so he does not stand a chance to become Nigeria's next president.

I am not God, but I can forsee the future on this one.
