Not as easy as that. Spouse gets a good job- boom
Chanches are getting a high paying job at first time of asking is 50: 50 ( i am being lenient to be fair). Have good fund for school fees in case it goes south. Or like Don baba J said- get person to borrow'. Someone that wont fail o. Spouse should be opened to jobs before being selective later on.

I would advise that you wait! She gets hers and then you & child. Back it up with documents certainly how cant survive along with the kids, the child self too young to stay with out a mom at that infant age.
Child is like precious gold here. Good ground to consider your application. Wait n apply

Hello guys, my wife applied to the univeristy of sakatchewan for a masters degree in public health, she meets and exceeds every requirement and I'm confident she would get in, my confusion here is, we've presently got a 3 year old boy and a baby coming in May, the baby would be 7months old be the time of her intake January 2027. Would this be a good reason for me to also apply for SOWP jointly with her study permit, being that she would need me to support her with the kids especially the new baby, or should we wait for her to get her study permit first, using myself and the kids as ties, then I stay back looking after the kids and apply for sowp later with the kids,say after 6months... I fear we applying together may spoil her own chance... On the other hand I also feel the visa officer may understand our peculiar situation and just maybe we could apply together and it would just work. What do you advice please

Using your inlaw is a No. My opinion is - have the fund in your account, rebuild your bank statement for the duration and reapply. If your Uncle is feeling unsafe, you can make him the transaction alerts being sent to him- email or telephone. That way, he)she knows what goes in and out of the account. Like someone pointed out here- brother self does not financially help a brother not to talk of inlaw, its immediate family. Dad, mom.

That said, question 2 raised- temporary stay: Using an inlaw who is also oversea already proof that you do not have a strong home tie. Chances are that you wil plot towards uk or remain in Canada as nothing strong enough to bring you back to Nigeria. Was your home tie? Single- landed property, aged parents as only child, good job placement at completion of academic, maybe company request self to allow you study and come back to your job self ( you know, something that prove you have good roots in Nigeria and normally everyone will like to come back for 🙂) married- above plus spouse or plus kids. You knw. Again, just me trying to reason. You can reach you if needed, no lele make we put head together. Cheers

Who knows what the cost is?

In April. Check to ensure it’s not 2 stop over except you have Schengen visa. On excess luggage, it could be available online. I dnt know as I didn’t need it.

No matter how it is painted by bloggers, nobody ever painted that rent is $250 per month. In fact, 500 CAD/month is very very cheap around Toronto.
When they said you should have proof of fund, that's what they mean. How can you be lamenting sending money from Nigeria in just 2 months? What was his POF for? Anyway, it's very normal now for an international student to stay 6 months to 1 year in Canada without getting a job.

True! 500cad is near impossible there.
Hoping he has registered with agencies and online job sites for non- collar jobs or what some call survival jobs pending when corporate ones come in.

Almost in the same shoes with you expect that my own children are already in there with my wife.
My biometrics was also about 3weeks away from the date of submission too/date of biometric booking but I noticed sept 9 was Saturday, is it now possible to do biometrics on Saturdays?

Yes I did for sop. The letter of invite was not notarized.
As par accommodation, I used my wife’s proof of payment for accommodation and the address

Medical upfront july 21
Online application August 19
Biometrics Appointment after much delay on Sept 9
Ppr for all sept 12.

Document uploaded but not restricted to below

5 months Statement of acct- 13m ( naira decline; use exchange rate to determine everytime, it helps)
4 months payslip
Landed property- 2 ( did the valuation for both separately of course and total valuation of 7.5m)
Job appointment
Last promotion letter
Every lump sum above 2m had evidence like car sales receipts, contribution contract. No explanation, evidence Dey.
Introduction letter from my kids school
Report card of my 2 kids.
School photo album
Letter of intent
Family picture
Kids picture on uniform
Introduction letter from office
Reference letter from bank
Marriage documents including wedding card;lol
Plus the other regular document too numerous to mention.
Wify on study visa. She left in April.

2. dependent = 3k each x 2 = $6k CAD
