JAkpayen:

Life is unfair to you because you caused it and you have solution to undo it. Where do you think you go for driver's licence? How can someone promise you one same day & you paid already? Even if he brought it, na "Oluwole" DL he will give you. You are responsible to take care of your family because whatever happens you will be blamed. Nobody go send you oooo!

Who told you that only graduates make it in life at this age. Many who survive are those with skills. You can start with YouTube videos on what you are passionate about

John 9:1-10
And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. …

Young man! In this thread and your previous one, every advice has been given to you. We all know that advice is easy, even those struggling like you will be quick to give advice. There is no scarcity of advice. Once upon a time, my friend failed or refused to answer a phone call and didn’t know it was the call the would have changed his life. He thought it was scam.

“All too often missed opportunities are in plain sight.” “I always watch for the longest day in the year and then miss it.” “William's smile is heavy with missed opportunities and lost years".
Nairaland / General / Should Victim Ask Perpetrator For Antidote For His Perpetrated Illness? by tony231964: 2:21pm On Mar 27, 2023
House,

my brother was attacked spiritually by his “defined” enemy. Defined in the sense that she boasted about making his life miserable after their misunderstanding.

My brother has sought for solution but no show. His leg issue is getting worse everyday.

Now, my brother is asking if he should go and ask for forgiveness for the misunderstanding. He said he has already attempted reconciliation through a third party but she was adamant and ignored him.

What should he do?
Crime / Re: How I Was Disvirgined By My Late Step Mom At Age 11... My True Life Story by tony231964: 1:50pm On Mar 27, 2023
I never believed stories like this until it happened to my relative. All I can say is whatever you believe, have faith in it. All these were going on in their house and they were still going to church every Sunday. So, the hypocrisy and deception is too much. If one is ignorant, he will be victim. Slimslimqq:
After the news of the witnesses broke out that they died on the same day, other church members stepped back out of fear that they might be targeted.

When the commisioner of police heard about the latest development, he asked that our church be closed till my dad was fully well and ordered him to be moved away to an undisclosed hospital for further treatment.

few weeks after, Dad was feeling better, he was later told about everything that happened during is absence. he bursted into tears, and promised to send my step mom to jail.

He was later discharged from hospital, and was invited by the cp.

he narrated everything that happened in detail to the cp, his lawyer was with him and my grandfather lawyer also.

The cp ordered for my step mom arrest and her children.

they were later not charged to court after much pleas from families and church executives. the matter was died down.

But life never remained the same again..

few years after, though a lot has happened that I can't even remember.

Year 2010, she(step mom) lost one of her kids(male of 37years).
She fell critically ill due to the death of her son.

She was taken to different hospitals which she was rejected due to her health issue. only God knows why she wasn't even responding to treatment.

Year 2011, dad was diagnosed with partial stroke, I had already finished my secondary school education same year.

Year 2012, she(step mom) was getting better after series of spiritual treatments in her hometown.

My mom had a spiritual attack, Yoruba call the attack "ofaa"..

after it was getting to delicate stages, my grandfather ordered we should bring her to ijebu to his spiritualist. that is were it was confirmed that it was a spiritual attack.

Then they did some sacrifice and spiritual stuffs for her.
the spiritualist then warned that the person who sent the attack will die after 7 days...

lo and behold, on 7th day, my step mom was rushed down to our house.

she confessed to every crime that she has been doing from the death of Seyi to how she raped me and my mom attack and a lot of bad things she did.

She said if I want to make it in life, then I have to do some stuffs which I have done. that was because of the sex she forced me to do.

she was later rushed to the hospital, but died on their way...

there's no peace for the dead..

Who remembers few years ago(8-9 years), when a news broke out on internet that a a coffin fell from the hands of undertakers on her burial day?
that was my step mom...

everyday I always hope there's hell, so that she can rot...

my dad later died year 2019(he was 75yrs)...
may my mom live long to eat the fruit of her labor.

I pray God lifts me soon and bless me to take care of her..

this is my story...

thanks for reading

Nairaland / General / Why So Many Babalawos Online by tony231964: 7:05pm On Mar 25, 2023
Before the advent of internet and social media, one can easily locate a good Babalawo to solution of issues in Nigeria, either by referring or otherwise. Many cases, whatever illness (natural or man made) is taken care of by local babalawo after ifa or afa consultation. A sacrifice done or certain concoction taken, that would take of the problem. My brother had eyesight problem when he was 25 years old. You could come out in the sun or watch television without eye glasses with sunglasses on top. My mom went to inquire was going on with his eyes. The Babalawo said it was his ancestor disturbing him. A little sacrifice was done. In less than a month, my brother started looking for his glasses and couldn’t find them. My parents couldn’t afford another prescription glasses. He never had any problems with eyesight since then.

Nowadays, there are so many of Babalawos online but no solution to issues.

My friend has spiritual attack, that enemies sent to him, partially paralyzed body. You can say it’s partial stroke. He has been through all sorts of tests and medications. He has been going everywhere both online and physical locations in Nigeria, the ones he knows, but no solution. Are there no more genuine Babalawos in Nigeria since advent of internet? I suggest that government should test Babalawos before granting them licenses to operate. There used to be Babalawo contest. That doesn’t exist anymore. Wondering how do the government test Babalawos before granting them licenses to operate.
