JAkpayen: John 9:1-10 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. … |

Young man! In this thread and your previous one, every advice has been given to you. We all know that advice is easy, even those struggling like you will be quick to give advice. There is no scarcity of advice. Once upon a time, my friend failed or refused to answer a phone call and didn’t know it was the call the would have changed his life. He thought it was scam. “All too often missed opportunities are in plain sight.” “I always watch for the longest day in the year and then miss it.” “William's smile is heavy with missed opportunities and lost years". |
Nairaland / General / Should Victim Ask Perpetrator For Antidote For His Perpetrated Illness? by tony231964: 2:21pm On Mar 27, 2023 |
House, my brother was attacked spiritually by his “defined” enemy. Defined in the sense that she boasted about making his life miserable after their misunderstanding. My brother has sought for solution but no show. His leg issue is getting worse everyday. Now, my brother is asking if he should go and ask for forgiveness for the misunderstanding. He said he has already attempted reconciliation through a third party but she was adamant and ignored him. What should he do? |
Crime / Re: How I Was Disvirgined By My Late Step Mom At Age 11... My True Life Story by tony231964: 1:50pm On Mar 27, 2023 |
I never believed stories like this until it happened to my relative. All I can say is whatever you believe, have faith in it. All these were going on in their house and they were still going to church every Sunday. So, the hypocrisy and deception is too much. If one is ignorant, he will be victim. Nairaland / General / Why So Many Babalawos Online by tony231964: 7:05pm On Mar 25, 2023 |
Before the advent of internet and social media, one can easily locate a good Babalawo to solution of issues in Nigeria, either by referring or otherwise. Many cases, whatever illness (natural or man made) is taken care of by local babalawo after ifa or afa consultation. A sacrifice done or certain concoction taken, that would take of the problem. My brother had eyesight problem when he was 25 years old. You could come out in the sun or watch television without eye glasses with sunglasses on top. My mom went to inquire was going on with his eyes. The Babalawo said it was his ancestor disturbing him. A little sacrifice was done. In less than a month, my brother started looking for his glasses and couldn’t find them. My parents couldn’t afford another prescription glasses. He never had any problems with eyesight since then. Nowadays, there are so many of Babalawos online but no solution to issues. My friend has spiritual attack, that enemies sent to him, partially paralyzed body. You can say it’s partial stroke. He has been through all sorts of tests and medications. He has been going everywhere both online and physical locations in Nigeria, the ones he knows, but no solution. Are there no more genuine Babalawos in Nigeria since advent of internet? I suggest that government should test Babalawos before granting them licenses to operate. There used to be Babalawo contest. That doesn’t exist anymore. Wondering how do the government test Babalawos before granting them licenses to operate. |
