Wow, so I finally got a way out after weeks of rigorous search and 'Trial & Errors'... Finally got a way out!...overjoyed!. Used DataSets instead of the traditional 'OLEDB sql' parameters and with the assistance of a video from Youtube, was able to make it work!. For anyone having same issues, you can search Youtube using this string - "Create report in vb.net with mysql using crystal report". As per the error I made mention of(Missing DLL), found a solution here -> http://scn.sap.com/thread/3606863 'dhtml', thanks for the replies. |
dhtml18:Wow, never knew that!, Boss you are... Gracias |
Seems I've installed the referenced connector already... Though from what I got just now, "Installing an unsupported .Net Connector does more harm than good", So, I'll try uninstalling all the other connectors to see how it goes. Thanks for your time -> Dim dhtml18 As String = "Thanks for Your time" MsgBox(dhtml18, MsgBoxStyle.Exclamation) ![]() |
Can't thank you enough sire, I really appreciate the effort... I'll be back to update on how it goes. Thanks. |
I have practically downloaded all the connectors in Microsoft's store... I actually downloaded 'MySQL Workbench 6.3 CE' since I make use of MySQL specifically (and wampserver) and not SQL OLEDb. I've equally downloaded some "Source codes", but seems everyone's making use of 'Datasets', tried that and was met with yet more errors. |
Thanks for the reply brov... Though, I didn't mean I used VB.6 codes or techniques, I meant like you easily call a report in vb6 at runtime, I decided to explore the options for VB.Net. . And it's VB10.net - 2013 (Professional) to be precise.... Thanks again "dhtml18" |
Any form of help will be very much appreciated guys... Abeg, no just view and leave if you can help out o. |
Hi guys, so I was given an assignment on vb.net to make an ID Validator, and since being done with that, I've been unable to generate reports with it. I've basically scoured the internet in search of a solution, downloaded all the 'connectors' specified, but nothing seems to be working. While trying to connect the CR to database, I get the below error everytime... . Failed to open the connection. Details: ADO Error code: 0x80004005 Source: MICROSOFT OLE DB Provider for SQL server Description: [DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect().)SQL server does not exist or access denied. Sql state: 08001 Native error: 17.... . I've also tried using click events(manual pulling of data into CrystalReport) like I do on VB6 but nothing is working. . I'll appreciate if anyone can assist me with this. TIA. |
Awesome, thanks... |
Hi guys, I don't know what is wrong with Glo, been trying to forward some airtime on the sim to another for virtually 4 hours now. Despite having changed the default password, each time I seek to make the transfer, it returns with an error, saying "Transaction failed. Credit transaction of requested amount not allowed"... . Tried severally to speak with an agent, but the call keeps getting dropped after saying "...All our customer care representatives are busy..." . Will appreciate any help on this issue... note, I've googled the shortcode, used it, and also used the 'Glo Service' menu, all to no avail. |
See as those guys just dark full ground. |
Na only head dey enter heaven? |
Lol, the guy called for more than 10 minutes, every information he gave about the program was on point... I guess I just needed the claim to be true, and prolly give a little bit of an element of doubt. |
Nice. |
Hi guys, a dude happens to post on one of the pages I was yesterday, claiming he would assist anyone on ways to make roughly $50 everyday via Binary Trading. I got chatting with him and at the end of it all, asked me to deposit $15 equivalent in naira into his account this morning in order to fund the Binary account with, claiming it'll be faster unlike just registering with the dollar-market site, and funding it. I checked his name, phone number online, did a lot of researches, the name came clean, but immediately he gave me the account to transfer the amount to "Jobi Jacob", I found a scam report filed against the name here on nairaland, and couldn't help but smell foul. So, Binary gurus, is there a possibility or iota of truth in this claim?, note, he said a software will be given to generate random winning numbers. |
...and I was supposed to send him a sum of #5,775 this morning for same purpose, I checked up his facebook name (Adeoye Ademola Oladipupo) & phone number 08142108904, did a lot of researches, it all came clean, until he gave me the Jobi Jacob name, only to find this.... Thanks a lot brother. |
Asked this same question a while ago, but still quite confusing though. . While some say Naija/US ads account is just a front depending on where you wish to get your pin and how you receive your payment, others say your visitors will only get to see your ads based on the country selected while registering, while some still say it depends on the visitor's location to get ads served. . What I can say from research so far though, is that no matter what country you choose, your visitors will get served based on their personal location... Google is too advanced and well known than to show a "How to Receive Loan in Nigeria" advert to a visitor from Ukraine or Netherland, so the most important thing here is "You Must Select to be Paid in USD" if you're serious with AdSense. |
Guyoo:Hehehehe... Correct guy, na hin you be. Chai, at the end of the day, na N200 card + drinks she get... ![]() hope sey her bag no dey for the car sha ![]() |
utubor:Thanks for the info brother, will see if it works... But seriously, you need to vitalize your English writing and speaking prowess with alacrity, not for today, but tomorrow, and don't be shy of speaking in the public(in English ofcourse), because Practise they say, makes perfect. Meet with friends whom are good in the aspect, let them put you through... There are Android applications capable of teaching the art of speaking and writing in English, free on Play store (as not-bad as I am in English, I once downloaded a tonne of them myself), and most importantly, don't let people put you down, they are out not to see you progress, just to make fun of others. Thanks. |
This is a laptop power bank, and it's capacity is in most cases 96,000MAH... To charge your phone?, well, probably btw 24 & 30 times, from 0%. |
Hope this is a hoax |
Lol Op!... Spots On. It's high time we 'left' for the Party. Lol. Invaluable means something extremely Valuable? Shouldn't 'Priceless' mean free?... Those guys are just frauds. SMH. |

Nice Post!, Kudos to you, @Op. |
We seriously need to protest this!. Where is our School Fees!!!?. |
I believe you should be able to study Business Management... Just make sure to prepare yourself well for whatever screening excercise your school of choice might have in store for you... Or better still, take that result to a National Open University centre to inquire from a staff of the school if it would be possible to gain admission with such into the school. |
Why will you wish to do something like that in a Boko infested region?... These guys will simply wait for you to build and take over the whatchamacallits... Anyways, goodluck to the Nigerian Gov't. I too is tired of 'our oyel'... Bye. |
Xionez:Nice, thanks for this info, I just have become half a percentage more sage... ![]() |
Enlightening... Security risks is everywhere, ranging from installing that new app on your phone together with your bank's official app or quick teller to those Web browsers you make use of, there's risks everywhere. As long as you are connected to the Internet, you're at a risk. Even your laptop's Webcam could be used to spy on you, the microphone attached used to eavesdrop on you. Good info though, and that brings me back to the question, "Why will a legal e-commerce site such as eBay not scrutinize products being sold on their platform?, what's the aim of the manufacturers of these " skimmers", producing such in commercial quantities?. |
seguno2:Well, I've got better things doing obviously, than to go on a scour for irrelevancies. What's good for the goose is 'not' always good for the gander. You can do better. |

end time is indeed near
