I bliv it's due to you subscribing before 12am.
On Tuesday, I subscribed around 4pm, and on wanting to use the data @ midnight, it just wouldn't go.
I did all I could as a techy to no avail... But yesternight, I waited till it was 12am before subscribing & I exhausted the MB before an hour was up as it was extra-fast.
