Nairaland / General / A Nation Under Siege Where Everyone Watches While No One Is Running by tonykel1(m): 1:19pm On Jun 20, 2020
If the current spate of insecurity by way the increasing numbers of banditry as a result of the alleged influx of foreign mercenaries in Nigeria is not nipped in the bud, the Nigerian military and security agencies which are being overstretched as it is will be overrun. The implication of this is that government programs and processes will run amok and be dominated by these alien forces.

The time for the government of the day to be alive to its responsibilities is yesterday.......arresting the leader of a peaceful protest against the wanton destruction of lives and properties particularly in the northern part of Nigeria is counter-productive. That arrest is one too many as this has sent a wrong signal to the international communities as to what the motive of the government is.

Could this be proof that the government of the day supports these constant attacks on its populace? Why should a peaceful protest against the recurring maiming of lives become obnoxious to the government of the day? What is the rationale behind this arrest? What message is the being passed?

If the continuous influx of these alleged mercenaries is not checked, the security agencies will be overrun, overpowered, and subjugated to submission. When this happens, the Nigerian nation is gone for good. Is the government of the day having this line of thought? If they do, why is an arrest being made against the leader of a peaceful campaign against such societal ills? Are there elements within the corridors of power that are inclined to this wanton destruction of lives? What is their motive? What do they stand to gain?

Are there aborigines of this nation who became Nigerians by prolonged stay and association but who still nurse the affinity with their foreign brothers/mercenaries who they allegedly empowered against the Nigerian state?

Most Nigerians have been so subjugated with the fear of illegal arrest and detention that they would rather keep mute in the face of this abnormality. This will consume all if drastic action is not taken within the circumference of legal constitutionality. One thing we must know is that a man who fears to take the right step to salvage a situation such as this is doomed and guilty of unpardonable genocide against a generation of men. Such men are irredeemable.

The government of the day should be alive to its responsibility of protecting the lives of citizens now. Enough is enough of the wanton destruction of lives and properties. It was once alleged that Boko-haram members have infiltrated the Government of former President Goodluck Jonathan. Do we currently have an increment of the sect's members in the current administration? Is this the reason for the continuous waxing stronger of this banditry and insurgency or simply a complacency by the government? It was alleged that the late Sani Abacha once said '' If Insurgency Last For More Than (24) Twenty Four Hours, The Government Of The Day Has A Hand'' can this be said to be true in the current persistent worsening security situation? Your guise is as good as mine.

Is the security architecture weakened already by the infiltration of Boko-haram sympathizers? Is the Nigerian army once known to be one of the best land forces in the world bereft of counter-insurgency ideas and tactics? Do they lack operational motivation due to demeaning interference with their respective high commands? Do the operators of the insurgency have superior fire-power to that of our security agencies? Do they have better welfare packages? Are the (3) three arms of the Nigerian Armed Forces with sister security agencies not in synergistic integration sync which is a necessary tool to put a stop to this recurring ugliness of massacre? By synergistic sync, I mean by way of an exclusive array of members of the security agencies on oath to put an end to this plaguing menace. Are Nigerians now relapsed into accepting the current state of insecurity as a status quo?

I wish to know the thoughts of well-meaning Nigerians on this urgent and demanding security issue. The aggregates of your opinions will be the basis of a proposed value preposition to nip this ugly menace in the bud.
Nairaland / General / The Efficacy Of His Presence. by tonykel1(m): 2:28pm On Jun 19, 2020
The Mystery Behind The parting Of The Red-sea.

Over the years, I have had occasions to meditate on the mystery behind the parting of the Red-sea as written in the scriptures. In the course of my meditation, I have come with terms that, it is only the presence of the Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent, and 'The All-consuming-fire God' is what it takes.

God is the infinite possibilities that created the Red-sea by bonding the atoms of oxygen, hydrogen, and other isotopes in the solution. This automatically places it under God's command. It is noteworthy to know that Sea-water has magnetic properties with a relative degree of density at 25 degrees Celsius.

So, the Spirit of God; a consuming fire who created all things and who is embodied in all things, blew a heatwave with a wind of a higher degree Celsius suitable enough to create the desired dry ground for the children of Israel to cross-over on that part of the sea. This segregates the composition of the constituent atoms, molecules, and isotopes at that particular surface area of the Red-sea (Exod 14:21-22). This is a mystery.

We should recall that it was the same Spirit of God that moves upon the surface of the waters which spur creation at the beginning (Gen 1:2b).

The lesson learned here is that there is no impossibility anywhere with the presence of the Spirit of God. So, I enjoin each and every one of us to always strive for his presence. This was the secret of David; for he pleaded with God not to take his presence and Holy Spirit from him (Ps 51:11). Without the presence of God in our lives (God Forbid) all our programs will run amok.

I see the presence and Spirit of God making room for each and every one of us in all areas of our endeavors in Jesus' name, Amen.

I await your opinion on this topic.
Nairaland / General / The Time To Make That Choice Is Now - Decide What You Want. by tonykel1(m): 12:31pm On Jun 18, 2020
Choose Where You Want To Belong At The End Of Time. The Privilege Of Making Choice Is What God Has Given To Man.

From the pictorial presentation, you observe that those who dowels in the works of darkness tend to and are bound to 'Gross Darkness' (Damnation) while those that dwell in the light are heavenly bound.

Life is not to be lived to do the works of the evil one. That wasn't God's purpose for creation. Satan the devil deceived man and rob man of the divine glory. Jesus came to restore man back to God's original plan for man. So, as many that received the Lord Jesus, he gave them the power to manifest God's glory and salvation.

So, where we find ourselves at the end of time will be as the result of the choice we make during our earthly sojourn on earth,

May the later be our portion in the hereafter in Jesus' name, Amen.

Religion / The End Started With The Beginning. by tonykel1(m): 7:56am On Jun 17, 2020
*The End Started With The Beginning*

THE SEQUENCE OF CREATION.

The creation which started with God will definitely end with God. This is why God is called "The beginning and the ending".

(1) In the beginning of God creation, we learnt from scriptures that, darkness was hovering over the surface of a deep void. No man living or dead experienced this.

*Genesis 1:1-3 (KJV)*
1] In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
[2] And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
[3] And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

The deep is an unimaginable void with darkness which is termed gross in the book of Isaiah. In the deep, there are no stars, moon or any degree of light. It is a consuming form of void darkness that don't sustain life. In the deep, there is no Earth, no life sustaining firmaments.

(2) God introduce light before sequential creation that culminate in the creation of man in his image. So, God started and ended creation with his replica. This is particularly so, so that man may be in unison with him.

(3) Man was created.

*Genesis 1:27 (NIV)*

Genesis 1:27, NIV: "So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them."

*The End Of Creation .*

(1) At the end of creation, the light will be taken away.

(2) Men (who are not in Christ) will be consume by gross darkness.(Isaiah 60:2)

It therefore means that, there is no life in the deep. Nothing can strive in deep. This is the reason God introduce light before creation. So, at the end of creation, light will be withdrawn so that only those who have eternal light (Jesus) will be saved. This is a great mystery.

*Acts 2:20 (KJV)*

Acts 2:20 King James Version (KJV)
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come.*

It is good to know that creation will end the way it evolved. It is only those who are in Christ that will transcend into eternity with God. They will overcome the gross darkness that envelopes the void at the end of time.

*Isaiah 51:6 (KJV)*
6 Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

*The Way Out Is*

The way out of the deep void in the last day is Christ. For Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and life; no man cometh unto the father except by me".

*John 14:6 (NIV)*
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Let us begin to embrace eternal life by the way of the truth which is accepting Christ Jesus as our Lord and personal savior. The is the key.....

I pray that the grace of God may be sufficient for us in Jesus name, Amen.
Religion / Now Is The Hour For Every Man To Decide. by tonykel1(m): 6:08pm On Jun 16, 2020
Greetings to everyone in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen. I wish to bring to the knowledge of the Lord's chosen that we are in the last days. I choose to use the phrase 'The Lord's Chosen' in this context to depict all those who will pay heed to this clarion call to take appropriate and corresponding steps........for not all men are called. To the later, this clarion call is just another triviality. I pray for you not to be among this category of men in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

The recurring catastrophic world events, wars, and rumors of wars, the outbreak of morbid pandemics as predicted by the holy scriptures as events that will characterize the last days are all signs and wonders surging towards the end. The last day will be a day of gross darkness with no atom of light.

Isaiah 60:2 (NIV)

See, darkness covers the earth

and thick darkness is over the peoples,

but the Lord rises upon you............................... (upon those who seek the Lord before it is too late) enclosed words are mine....

and his glory appears over you.

Acts 2:20 (KJV)

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:

In that notable day of the Lord, the world will burn like a furnace, and those who reject the Lord will not be spared.

Malachi 4:1 (NIV)

For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

It would have been too late. There are times and seasons for everything under heaven. There is a time to seek the Lord and there will be such a time too late. It is for this reason, that it is written that; now is the hour of our salvation. Salvation is now not in the future. Never postpone it. For tomorrow may be too late.

Isaiah 55:6 (NIV)

Seek the Lord while he may be found;

call on him while he is near.

2 Corinthians 6:2 (NIV)

For he says,

“In the time of my favour, I heard you,

and in the day of salvation, I helped you.”

I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.

The scriptural references above imply that there is a time to seek the Lord and find God; there is a time of the salvation of our God. I pray that everyone who comes in contact with this message may receive the grace to be zealous for God. It is not by accident that you come across the message......God is seeking for your attention to have fellowship with you. It is not his desire that any perish.

Remain blessed as you begin to seek the salvation of the Lord in Jesus' name, Amen.

Politics / Opinion: The Man To Take-over From President Buhari In 2023 by tonykel1(m): 10:13am On Jun 14, 2020
As Nigeria's political machinery gears towards the 2023 presidency, many political permutations, intrigues, and calculations are being made by the political class. The generality of the masses which comprise of the electorates are kept in the position of oblivion till such a time this political intrigues will begin to unfold. I wish to give an insight into the political system of mechanism that will throw-up the next President. With the APC led Government in power and crop of APC leaders we have in the helms of affairs in Nigeria, it will be near impossible not to have the next President come 2023 as an APC member......this can only be forestalled if there is an implosion in the APC leading to outstanding two (2) factions thereby weakening their collective political strength.

Now. we have two (2|) existing unannounced presidential inclined factions which comprise the El Rufai, Rotimi Amaechi, and Arebgesiola faction on one hand and the Asiwaju Tinubu and the Adams Oshiomhole faction on the other hand. But there is a third unperceived power group that will determine the presidency, this the faction will command a bulwark of follower-ship in the APC. The first two factions will engage themselves in political maneuvering that will make both them underdogs to the advantage of the third faction.

As many may have observed that the Vice president has not been featured in the political scenes and expectations for the 2023 Presidency. This is a strategy to removed focus from his taking-over from his boss. It is a well-thought-out plan to shield him from unnecessary political interference. This is the third faction that will command the follower-ship required and will be revealed at the most appropriate time.

Your thoughts and opinions are welcome as I will be giving updates from time to time on the intrigues being deployed in the 2023 presidency.

Health / I Can Cure COVID-19 Patients If Given The Opportunity. by tonykel1(m): 12:44pm On May 05, 2020
I have been telling Nigerians who care to listen that I have the cure to the prevailing pandemic ravaging the world. I am surprised that my fellow citizens are taking it with a pinch of salt.

How can we have a solution to a pandemic of this magnitude in our country and ignore it? When will Nigeria start taking her resourceful citizens seriously? We can take advantage of this rare opportunity to make a positive impact in the comity of nations. A trial will surely convince all those who sincerely crave an end to this pandemic.

Nigerian cum Africa has what it takes to put an end to this plague ravaging the nations of the world. We must be careful not to allow outsiders to steal this formula from us with a view to repackage and send it back to us at a greater cost. let us act fast: the solution to COVID-19 is here without mincing words.

I look forward to a change of approach by NCDC so that we can save more lives from this scourge.

Religion / Near-death Experience To Know. by tonykel1(m): 8:47pm On May 02, 2020
I was sick to death in the year 1995. It was so severe that I abhorred food. I couldn’t eat for days. My companions were my late mum and friend. They kept urging me to eat by deploying all manners of tricks to make me eat food.

After several days without food, I noticed that my feet began to lose reflexes. Having been lying down at a spot for a while, I never notice this could imply anything. It was as if my mother understood that it was a process of giving in to the pangs of death. So, she mandated my late friend to sit beside me and gave a specific instruction never to allow me to fall asleep.

On that fateful day and while it was daylight, I noticed darkness taking over my whole being. It was a sweet experience. Suddenly, I received a hard hit on my upper left limbs with my mother calling out my name with a loud voice. The process continues for a while before recovering from the death darkening process. On recovery, I was shocked to know that it was just about 3:00 pm with a blazing sun.

I, therefore, posit that death which is a congenital birth end in itself is painless. There are no pains associated with it because of the fact that you have to be conscious to feel pains. In this wise, both birth and death are painless. A child at the point of being born feels no pain. The child at birth and the victim of death are unconscious at the instance of the occurrences.

Conclusively, I state without equivocation that birth and death can be controlled by aversion. However, there are exceptions to this logic due to permissive will of God. A good example is a pregnancy that defies abortion. This implies that birth control failed in such instances because of God that must prevail. In the experience above, death was avoidable.

Please, share your thought on this.

Religion / Encounter With A Spirit-being. by tonykel1(m): 7:46pm On May 02, 2020
I had a mysterious encounter with what some in spiritual parlance will call ‘A Water Spirit or A Mermaid’ as a young boy. It all started on a night I went to the river to hunt for crabs and fish as we often do. We set out on our mission at about 12:15 am and fare through the river. I happened to be the leader of the group. As occasion demands, the leader leads by going ahead of the rest of the crew members maintaining some distance as a signal that the water is safe.

I was in front when a mysterious creature surges out of the water to scare the rest crew members away thereby segregating me from them. I climbed over the river bank with the help of adrenalin in my body to the shock of those who later got to know about my mode of escape from the scene. I took a different but longer route home. On my way home, I sighted the creature again while crossing the bridge. This time, I could see a glimpse of it. It was in the form of a beautiful lady all clothed in white apparel. She was beckoning at me to come. I ignored her and took to my heels. I ran as fast as my legs could carry me.

On getting home, my mother was already fast asleep. I didn’t want to border her with my ordeal. So, I tried to sleep but couldn’t because, at this time, the same beautiful lady who was beckoning to me from the river was now physically present with me in the room. My screaming awakes my mum to the reality of the strange development. I pointed my finger at the Spirit-being showing my mum who reiterated that she could not see anyone. As this episode continues, my Aunty carried me on her back and took me down to my maternal compound. On getting there, my uncle mistook my condition for that of eye puzzling and recommended that I should be given some milk to drink. They gave up on this option when I finished all the available milk as the condition worsens; the spirit-being was all over me and no other person could see her except me.

It was the arrival of my late uncle who was a mystic that put an end to that experience. He observed me for a while and told others that I was actually seeing whatever they could not see with their physical eyes. He took me into a room, shut the door, and render some incantation which causes the mysterious being to disappear from my presence. The spirit was exorcised and that was the end of that encounter to date.

Your views on this will be appreciated.
Culture / A True-life Contact With The Rainbow: A Must Read. by tonykel1(m): 7:37pm On May 02, 2020
As a young boy who grew up in the midst of the very old, I heard different tales about the source of the rainbow. I was such an inquisitive young man who wanted to unravel the mystery behind anything shrouded in secrecy and that was of interest to me.

On the subject ‘The Rainbow’, I was told my grandmother that it emanates from the yawning of the sea serpent. For this reason, it is difficult to see its and beginning and end. As a young man, I swallow everything hook, line, and sinker until the very fateful day I had a physical encounter with the source of the rainbow in a thick and dark forest.

On that fateful day, I accompanied one of my friends by the name; Johnbull to their farm which was sited on a high mountain. The route passes through a relatively thick forest. We did some little work and harvested some yams and made set to go back when we observed that the weather had changed and it was about to rain. The sky was heavy with the cloud that it can easily be passed for nightfall. We hurriedly left the farm in an attempt to at least pass the forest before the rain will start to drop.

As we depart the forest and made our way through the forest, Johnbull (I later got to know is allergic to darkness) took to his heels. The forest was so dark that you can barely see the footpath. Being left alone, I made up my mind to walk through the forest even with the threatening of heavy thunder strikes and lightning. It was not too long after I was alone, trying to find my way out of the thick and darkened forest that I sighted a thick colored smoke-like substance coming out from the ground beside a huge tree.

I was taken aback at first but moved closer to touch the smoke-like substance out of curiosity. It disperses at my touch and continued the upward movement. The source of the substance could not be seen because of the reflective color concentrate and intensity which covers the base. I watched it goes up as I begin to move away from it and out of the forest. I kept looking back at it from time to time till I caught up with Johnbull and narrated my encounter with the rainbow which I pointed out to him in the sky.

On getting home, I narrated my encounter with my Father and pointed out the rainbow to him. I was shocked when my father told me that if I had looked carefully and intensely, that I would have seen a diamond stone by a Python. He further went to narrate how a bold man once took such diamond stone which later in life became the source of the man’s stupendous wealth. The rainbow according to him is the yawning of a mysterious python. The presence of the diamond disperses and segregates the colors. It is a rare occurrence to be sighted.

Business / What Every Nigerian Must Do To Escape The Impending Economic Rot. by tonykel1(m): 7:19pm On May 02, 2020
Expectation, they say is the mother of manifestation. What are Nigerians expecting after the Lock-down? What economic concerns do Nigerians expect? What are the economic permutations, projections, and probably the planned corresponding palliatives either as a Nation or as individuals?
It is a known fact that, the aggregates of proactive economic plans forestall future economic embarrassment of nations where economic concerns are ill-mortgaged by the economic frontiers.
In sequence to the aforementioned, it is expedient to take a deep reflection on the possible outcomes and corresponding precautionary measures taken to cushion the adverse effects of CVD-19.

Expected Fall-outs As A Result of CVD-19.
1) The Nigeria economy which has been in the negative will nosedive to a most deplorable state since the prices of oil which is the fulcrum of the Nigerian economy is in its historical lowest.

2) Companies will retrench their respective workforce to suit the prevailing economic realities. It is in the news that Access Bank plans a retrenchment of 75% of its workforce with a cut on the salaries of the outstanding 25% workforce. This is a replica of what will transpire in other organizations as massive retrenchment looms, salaries of the fortunate few will be relatively reduced to suit the prevailing economic parameters. Some organizations will lose man-hours while others will fold-up absolutely leading to an acute shortage in production and the services they render.

3) The adverse effect of economic downturn will affect most family units. Families are run on the strength of economic prowess. The stability of family units is to a greater extent, is a reflection of the economic viability and versatility of any nation as depicted in the per capita income. An aggregates of disarrayed family units will culminate in a volatile and depressed nation.

4) Depression leads to disoriented citizens. When citizens are disoriented, logical and analytical reasoning is depleted resulting in counter-productive reasoning faculty. When this happens, crime and all sorts of vices increases to a crescendo.

5) The outbreak of CVD-19 associated diseases. Malnutrition, Lassa fever and other airborne disease are imminent due to insufficient and inadequate medical facilities and technical manpower.

6) Educational decadence. It is often said that when we stop learning, we start dying. What this implies is that knowledge which imparts and improve our living conditions will be grossly depleted of its positive impact on the lives of individuals and as a Nation respectively.

Projected Precautionary Measures (PPM).
1) Situational Planning. As stated elsewhere, if we can think enough, what we have is enough for improvisation. The deployment of logical and analytical reasoning associated with the current realities premeditated on a sound projection into the future is a must. We must engage in productive thinking and reason our way out of the seemingly inevitable adverse economic concerns before us.

2) Agriculture: Engaging in agriculture is a sure way to mitigate against the impending economic woes. Agriculture never fails. People must eat and always demand agricultural produce which is the mainstay of life. Where money fails, solace is taken in agriculture because it fails not: it is the last lifeline of survival. Simultaneously, we are in the planting season. Plant a seed now, nourish it that it may take care of your nutritional and economic needs tomorrow.

3) Re-alignment of priorities. Prioritize your needs by placing your most basic needs at the top of your list. Drop needs of least life-sustaining values. Separate your needs from your wants and focus more attention on your basic needs in order priority.

4) Health Care. Make the food you eat your medicine. Healthy eating is the master-key to healthy living. Eat healthy food to boost your immune system. What you eat determines to a greater extent, the condition of your health to avoid unnecessary medical bills.

5) Education. Put your children in schools you can afford. Look out for school which is free tuition and put your children/wards there. This will go a long way to relieve you from the stress associated with struggling to pay fees.

6) Transportation. Curtailment of movement by engaging only in the productive itinerary to cut wastage of financial resources. Move only when it is necessary and when it is targeted at an end-product that earns you an income.

7) Relationship. Cut off negative relationships. The relationship that diminishes your thinking faculties and depletes you of limited available resources. Engage in positive impact relationship for maximum productive outcomes.

cool Innovation. Innovation enhances productivity and increases market share. Be innovative in your offerings to your targeted audience. This trade secret works like magic.

Above all, commune with your creator for guidance and the right direction always.
Once again, I wish you a happy new month devoid of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Donal Trump speak the truth about Nigeria.
opera.comFeb 20, 2020 4:04 PM

*TRUMP HAS SPOKEN AGAIN. JUST THE TRUTH*

"DONALD TRUMP'S SPEECH ON "RISE UP AFRICANS".

*They are good in nothing else but making noise, dancing, marrying many wives, alcoholism, witchcraft, indulging in sex, pretending in church, jealousy, fighting and complaining of bad leadership; but, yet refuse to take a decisive action and protest to remove the brigands from position of power.*

*Let us all accept the fact that the black man is a symbol of poverty, mental inferiority, laziness and emotional incompetence. To make the matter worse, he can do everything possible to defend his stupidity. Give them money for development and they will fight and create hatred and enmity for themselves. Drill oil wells for them and they will not have peace all the days of their life.*

*See, for instance, what's happening in Nigeria (a Country blessed with abundant resources), Southern Sudan, Malawi, DRC just to mention at few.*

*"This proves to anybody including a stupid fool that Africans do not know what they want. isn't that plausible"?*

*"They are like monkeys looking for already ripping banana all over the world!!!.*

*Therefore that the white man is created to rule the black man, Africans will always have day dreams.*

*And here is the creature (black man) that lacks foresight but only sees what is near him and still fails to know what to do"*

*A black man is stupid to the extent that he cannot plan for his life beyond a year. Therefore how can they develop and live longer.*

*"Corruption in the west (And China) is a big abomination, but in Africa, it's so huge that it is slowly becoming an acceptable way of life!!!.*(Shame, isn't it?)

*They sing and rejoice to their corrupt political leaders. They worship their scandal-ridden religious leaders like their gods. Lest you forget, these so called Africans are praising, dancing and praying for the people that have impoverished them, and who comes to hide their loot here.*

*Then which fool argues that the black man is not born a beggar, grows a beggar, looks a beggar, falls sick as a beggar and dies a beggar. this has been proven beyond reasoning.*

*I wonder why even up to now most Africans still go to school by force, and those who are at school are are just drug addicts who don't know what took them there. This is a pregnant stupidity in Africa. The body of Africans is a very fertile ground for all diseases in the world because they don't fear even HIV/AIDS.*

*This leaves me with a question: Are our eyes created the same with those Africans? I hear there are still cultures in Africa that prohibit them from using latrines which is very annoying.*

*"They cried for independence but have failed to rule themselves". For sure being African is a very untreatable disease that even prayers are not enough.*

*They have minerals but they cannot do anything with it. Therefore let us (whites) go to Africa and pick what we can pick and leave what is of no use. Poverty is a disease to the whites, but to the blacks it is very normal.*

*"Look at what is currently going on in Nigeria National Assembly. Legislators amending the constitution to favor themselves at the expense of two (200) million Nigerians.

*"Majority of these legislators are treasury looters who are intellectually barren but using the ill gotten wealth to oppress the citizens of that great country".*

*"What a shame"!*

*Black people with black sense. The worst tragedy in Africa is that if you dare stand up and speak up for what's right, you may end up regretting.*

*"The few wise and open-minded Africans who have tried to educate these fools about civilization have met the worst. They have been pushed hard on the wall, they have been silenced and others have been killed".*

*Before I finish, let me tell Africans that before you jump and call me a racist, an anti-blacks or whatever term you may wish to use against me,1st tackle runaway corruption, dreadful terrorism, tribalism, poverty, unemployment, diseases, illiteracy, ignorance, and inequality, that have put your whole continent on the verge of collapse".*

*"Hate me or love me, I don't care.I know this is the plain truth which will never see the light of the day to the cowards that are afraid to be told as it is".*

Buhari deceiving Nigerians, his govt empowering Boko Haram – Obasanjo

Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo has said that Boko Haram terrorism has not been defeated.

Obasanjo, in a lengthy statement made available to DAILY POST by his media team on Sunday, disclosed that Boko Haram is being empowered by the federal government.

He noted that Boko Haram of today has become stronger hence the increase of security threats in Nigeria.

The statement reads in part: “let me assert that the security situation has deteriorated with kidnapping everywhere and Boko Haram more in action and nobody should deceive Nigerians about this. With the teaming up of Boko Haram and Islamic State’s West Africa Province (ISWAP).

“Boko Haram is stronger today militarily than they have ever been. Boko Haram has also been empowered by the Nigerian government through payment of ransom of millions of dollars which each administration disingenuously always denies. With ISIS being liquidated in Iraq and Syria, Africa is now their port of concentration. Soon, they may take over Libya which, with substantial resources, is almost a totally failed state. When that happens, all African countries North of Congo River will be unsafe with serious security problems. The struggle must be for all West African, Central African, North African and most East African States. Nigeria has to play a vanguard role in this struggle as we have much to lose. This administration has reached the end of its wit even in handling all security issues, but particularly Boko Haram issue, partly due to misuse of security apparatus and poor equipment, deployment, coordination and cooperation.

“Finally, those Nigerians that are being intimidated or threatened by this Administration must trust in God and stand firm. Tough times do not last forever, but tough people invariably survive tough times. This is a tough time for almost all Nigerians in different respects, but the people’s will shall triumph. All people who have registered to vote with their PVCs must never allow anybody or anything to deny or deprive them of the right of performing their fundamental civic duty of voting and sustaining democracy.

“Establishment of democracy and its sustenance is second to attainment of independence in our political life, leaving out the victory of the civil war. We shall overcome.”

Did Buhari deckare hus assets, did he present any waec certificate, does he have a weac ceerificate, did he lie about his age?

quote author=Printerscanner post=74702212]Is the current CJN Walter Onnoghen running foreign accounts with dollars, pounds and euros? Did the CJN declare his assets as required by law? Answer legal and constitutional questions and stop beating about the bush. We don't want a CJN that is richer than Dangote through bribes and kick-backs. The CCT once tried Tinubu and Saraki and they were set free. So why is the CJN different? [/quote]
