I think they're going to run concurrently. Both the series and the solos. I think both the series and movies will share characters and actors together.

Why I think so, Justice League Dark might start production anytime this year. It's intended to be delivered as a new Series on HBOMax for probably 2022.
I think Justice League Dark series will most likely come before the solo movies.

They're introducing everyone they intend to use for Justice League Dark in the TV or movies together, some will show and port over to any of the solo or shows they are needed. This gives them publicity enough to launch a final Justice League Dark Franchise in DCEU as the Big team up movie, replacing the (troubled) Justice League and freeing Justice League members and DCEU of the need to pump in Big crossover events and huge expectations.

That way they maneuver everyone and have a big Franchise spinner on its own, just like Guardians of the Galaxy.

One more possible Franchise spinner for them is Green Lantern Corps. They can easily intertwine between shows and movies as they've got many stories and interesting characters to work with. Depends if DC Films & TV department wants to use what they got on their cards. It is possible, it lies on them if they believe such project can turn profitable for them and fans enthusiasm to support such.

Nobody asked for all these crap they are producing or about to produce. Customer is the king: if they haven't learnt any lessons from the poor performances of Shazam, Harley quinn and WW84, then WB is truly ignorant.

according what i read, it took him four years, $70m and hundreds of hours of shooting and editing to fix the work becos of the many changes that were made.

Like I said, 95% of the shooting was completed as at 2017, perhaps, only the VFX and some extra scenes needed to be completed before Whedon took over. Theoretically, it wouldn't have taken him four years because the project was abandoned in 2017 and was again picked up last year because of HBOMax.

Justice League; Snyder's Cut is a 9/10 abeg. Minus 1 because of the excess slow mo. 4 hrs well spent.

Makes you think about what could have been if the DCEU was allowed to follow Snyder's vision. And yes, many people are lambasting the guy because of Batman V Superman, but I heard that the issue with that movie is similar to what happened with Justice League. There is a version called the Ultimate Edition which is said to be way better. I'm yet to watch it though.

In other news. With the advent of streaming services and the gradual decline of cinema, is this the new go to format for Epic movies such as JL? Less restriction on run time and retrospective release of the Directors cut. Cos I feel that that ability to correct the past mistakes contributed the beauty of this new Justice League. If not, what was the reason for some the reshoots?

No past mistakes were fixed, Snyder only did 4 minutes of reshoots last year. The rest of the movie was shoot pre-Whedon in 2016/2017.

Just imagine the creative direction that WW84 took. I can imagine that if Zack was still in charge, we wouldn't get that rubbish of a movie. The guy has grounded ideas about Superheroes something that even the creators of 'The Boys' series borrowed and is working well.

You know this image depicts Wonder Woman as a weapon of justice. That was exactly what she did in that scene. I wonder why they dumbed down her powers in WW84.

Zack Snyder is the king of visuals. He even beats Nolan and many other seasoned directors in the art of film visuals. Each frame of his motion picture is a unique picture on its own. I have only watched 35 mins of his Justice League movie and the narration is superb. What was WB thinking sef when they suppressed this vision for Geoff Johns own?

Geoff Johns made them alter everything. He had his own vision of how 'things' should be. He once said it in an interview that now he has full control of both DC movie and TV series, He's happy. He desperately wanted to be the Kevin Feige of DC. Do you notice that after Joss Whedon's JL, some top tier DC characters from the movies were used in DC series? That must have been Geoff Johns pitch. He wanted to make the movies like CW shows: funny with no stakes. He calls it making the movies have a heart and soul. This is also what we got from his Wonder Woman's writing.

That series stole a lot of Snyder shots and artsy style. The series was mainly inspired by Snyder's take on Superman.
1. In the nuclear reactor scene
2. The fighting scene between general Luthor and superman
3.The shot of evil superman killing soldiers with his lasers in the rain.

This is an interesting take on the injustice league team in the knightmare timeline: Flash, Cyborg, Joker, Batman, Deathstroke and Mera. I wish the repented Lex Luthor who rang the bell to bring in Stepphenwolf would be here also. An exciting storyline by Snyder and Chris Terrio. It keeps me wondering why WB rejected this storyline back in 2016. Could Geoff Johns influence on WB have played a role in this? Because that guy obviously dislikes Snyder.

the rum0rs aren't true. Snyder has already written off directing a cb m0vie f0r marvel. And that was in a recent interview days ago. Go read it. He said his style and visi0n is t0tally different fr0m what marvel would want, and wouldn't want to risk the wb fiasco again. Snyder is d0ne with CBs. He said it with his m0uth. He has other projects he wants to adapt. I doubt he would do star wars.

Snyder might be asked to direct a dark Star Wars series by Disney+ since we are in the golden era of TV series. WB and HBO max will have to act fast with an attractive offer because Snyder will be courted by even Amazon, and continuously by Netflix, at this rate. I am also looking forward to his "Army of the Dead" movie.

Amongst new female characters potentially showing up in the DCEU it's Batgirl and probably Zatanna that are the most anticipated characters. Harley Quinn doesn't even match them in terms of enthusiasm.

Batgirl has been craved by fans for a long time. She's the main reason fans were angered by Birds of Prey and didn't support it much at the BO even tho it's a critical darling.

Nobody is craving for Batgirl after a disappointing series run. Zatanna is a movie I will like to see though...

All I am asking for is a little bit of Snyder's Mythological perspectives in all of these new movies. WW84 was very lacking in this aspect. Even the Shazam movie did not emphasize this enough.

Early reviews suggest that the movie is better than the previous one(which is expected) and people at WB are looking to continue the SnyderVerse(I hope this is true)
